Chapter Text
In the Morning
Coy woke up to Anthony pushing him away in his bed. He tried to blink away the sleep and buried his face into the pillow.
“Coy. What the actual fuck?!”
“What! What?”
“We can’t be doing this! I’m not gay—“
“…You kissed me.”
“So? That doesn’t mean anything.”
“So, you lied! You said you’ve liked me for so long and then you kissed me.”
“…”
“Did you lie?”
“I’m not doing this.”
“Anthony. Did you lie?”
“It didn’t mean anything.”
“Fuck you.”
Anthony scoffed and turned away from Coy. “Get out.”
“No.”
“Coy. Get out, please.”
“Did it mean anything?”
“Coy.”
“Just answer one question.”
“Coy, leave.”
He shook his head and walked over to Anthony.
“Please. Answer me.”
“No. It didn’t mean anything. It doesn’t mean anything.”
It was silent for a couple seconds.
“Coy. I’m sorry.”
“I’ll leave.” Coy turned away from Anthony. “I just…”
The door shut behind Coy, leaving Anthony with his own thoughts.
Oh, fuck. He was so screwed. They kissed? Anthony didn’t remember shit from last night. And he kind of, sort of, maybe, just a little bit liked Coy. But he wasn’t gay. Maybe he liked the fact that Coy was wearing his hoodie. It’s not like he liked it in a weird way… he just liked to see it.
A couple minutes later, Anthony looked at his phone on the nightstand, which buzzed a couple times. He picked it up and sighed.
New Group Created: ‘You’re so fucking screwed, anthony’
Will: This is all hanbon don’t kill me
Hanbon: anthony.
Hanbon: what the fuck did you do to coy.
Anthony: nothing!
Hanbon: bullshit. anthony, what did you say
Hanbon: he’s sad.
Hanbon: he walked past us and didn’t even say good morning
Hanbon: he was upset!
Anthony: okay?
Hanbon: tell me.
Hanbon: what’s wrong, anthony?
Anthony: nothing!
Will: All i know is you guys kissed
Hanbon: he’s wearing your favorite hoodie
Hanbon: wait you kissed him?
Anthony: he’s wearing my hoodie??
Hanbon: yes
Hanbon: you kissed him??
Anthony: yes! okay!
Anthony: so what if i kissed him?!
Hanbon: what the fuck does that mean
Anthony: the kiss didnt mean anything
Hanbon: …
Will: Did you tell him that???
Anthony: …
Hanbon: you’re an idiot.
Hanbon: i can’t believe it.
Anthony: i got scared!
Anthony: i dont know if i like him!
Hanbon: you told me you’d wanna be with him
Will: You told me you only liked boys for coy???
Anthony: oh.
Anthony: i don’t remember that
Hanbon: you need to fix this.
Will: Quickly, anthony
Anthony: how????
Hanbon: do you like him?
Anthony: when i really think about it, yeah.
Anthony: i think i really really like him.
Anthony: oh no
Hanbon: he’s in the kitchen right now
Hanbon: aw he’s so sad
Will: Anthony go down and fix it.
Anthony: ok.
Anthony looked down at his phone and sighed. Fuck. He needed to fix this. As quickly as possible.
He walked downstairs and rushed to the kitchen.
“Uhm. Coy?”
“Go away.”
“Please. Can we talk?”
“No. Leave me—“
Anthony walked closer to Coy and cupped his face with his hands.
“Coy, please.”
He moved away from Anthony’s hands and looked towards Hanbon. Hanbon instantly turned away and walked upstairs. She wasn’t going to get involved more than she was.
“Leave me alone.”
“Coy.”
Anthony moved his face closer to Coy’s.
“Go—“
“I do like you. I really like you.”
“…”
He glanced down to Coy’s lips and made eye contact with him. He looked at him questioningly.
“I really do.” Anthony pressed his lips to Coy’s. “You have to know I like you.” He softly murmured against Coy’s lips.
“Okay.”
“Did that mean anything to you?”
“No.”
“Coy.” He softly whispered and pressed his forehead against the others.
“A kiss doesn’t mean anything.”
“I— Yes, it does! I means I like you.”
“Didn’t mean that last night.”
“It did. Please, Coy.”
“Then why did you say otherwise?”
“Because I was scared. I was so scared of how I felt.”
“That’s bulls—“
“It’s not! Coy, I was so afraid of my feelings and it was confusing! I— I really like you. I wish I didn’t say all that stuff! Ple—“
Coy moved to kiss him again. “Shut up.”
Anthony muttered into Coy’s lips. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean all my words. I really like you. So much.”
“Did you lie?”
“About what?”
“Last night, when you said you liked me.”
“I wouldn’t lie about that.
Coy raised an eyebrow at him.
“Well— I was scared— I didn’t understand why and what was going on and—“
“Do you remember last night? At all?”
“Just remember kissing you.”
“Hm.”
“That’s all that matters.”
“So romantic.”
“You forgive me?”
“Yes.”
“Thank you.”
“Can you make me breakfast?”
“You just forgave me.”
“Yup.”
“And you’re making me make you food?”
“I’ll kiss you after.”
“Best motivation?”
“Mm. Just make the food.”
He walked over to the fridge and began pulling items out of the fridge to make something.
After making the food, he placed the plate in front of Coy. Anthony sat in the seat right next to him and leaned on his shoulder. Hanbon and Will walked down the stairs at that moment.
“Did you guys make up?” Hanbon hesitantly asked, looking at the two.
Anthony quietly nodded and glanced towards Will. “What, Will?”
“Is Coy the submiss—“
“Shut up.” Anthony interrupted, rolling his eyes.
“Okay fine, I won’t ask that. I was setting up a joke, y’know?”
Hanbon laughed at Will.
“Ok. Tell the joke, then.”
“Well, I had to set it up!”
“Just tell a different one, then.”
Coy stopped eating for a couple seconds and looked back at Will.
“Okay, well, uhm… what do you call three chickens and me?”
“Four chickens?” Anthony muttered, loud enough for everyone to hear.
Will stood there for a couple of seconds and was quiet.
“No, a bunch of chickens and Will.”
…
“My joke was much better, wasn’t it, Coy?”
“What—“
“You agree.” Anthony glanced down at Coy’s lips. He raised his eyebrows at him and sighed. “Hm?”
“Yeah, yeah. Anthony’s joke was better.” Coy looked down at his lap and blushed.
At least he got the boy.
