In this version, Himmel had lost his parents in his childhood, demons had killed them before his eyes. A traveling merchanary who was staying in their village had rescued him.
Himmel grew up without the concept of love, but he understood the necessity of killing demons. So he didn't get it all of his time training, training so much that he did not have any friends, he had only one goal: but it was to kill the King of the Demons.
Flamme was a poetic mage who believed that romance is the true language of magic. She believed that if one had enough love they could be very strong, so strong that they could be powerful enough to defeat even the demon king. 50% of her time, she wrote poetry and read romantic stories.
When Flamme passed away, Frieren inheritated her master's love and became a romantic mage, often singing. Flamme had told her that true love will one day find her in a Field of Flowers .
One day, Himmel came with Eisen and Heiter and asked if she could become their mage. Frieren realized that she had found it...
Unfortunately, Frieren's poetry could not reach Himmel who was always calm and had a blank face.
Frieren tried everything, including love potion which, unfortunately, a monkey drank—
Frieren was in madly love with him, yet, he was not someone who had opened his heart, he will probably never open it for anybody.
Could Frieren break the stone of Himmel's heart?
