After a long while of thinking, the voidling finally snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the clock on the wall. Twixxel realized it's been 40 whole minutes..
When he finally went downstairs, he stepped silently on the stairsteps to not wake up a certain enderman, he then found Mob sleeping directly on top of Verity. Although Twixxel had already got used to it from last time, he still got surprised by their unusual positions; remembering how hostile it was to him 41 minutes ago.
When the sun rose over the horizon and reached Mob's face, he noticed that he couldn't feel Verity's comforting hot embrace anymore. One the enderman opened his eyes and came to his senses, he was met with the smell of steak being cooked.
Twixxel was sitting on the edge of Mob's bed, seemingly waiting for him to wake up. When the voidling noticed that Mob had woken up, he happily greeted him and helped him sit up more as Verity walked over with two plates of steak. It firstly handed it over to the enderman, and then stiffly handed it over to the voidling,
seemingly still pissed about last night. Verity then walked away to sit in his personally built enclosure. Knowing that it was built by Mob, he felt much more comfortable in it. not more comfortable than sitting with Mob though.
The enderman looked around his house, searching for Twixxel and Verity, but for some odd reason, he didn't find the two. Mob assumed that Twixxel was out exploring or something, and Verity.. he doesn't know what he could be doing other than staying by his side. After thinking for a while, he looked through his window, and spotted an unfamiliar base..? Although it was unfamiliar, it had a certainly familiar someone: Twixxel! the exact person he's been looking for. But there was no Verity in sight.
Noting that nobody was around him, Mob decided to stand up to get something from his chests alone, because he already felt like a burden to Verity & Twixxel, he didn't bother asking them for help. So the enderman stood up shakily but successfully and starting making his way to his chests. To his surprise, he actually made it to his chests without Verity neither Twixxel's help, nor faceplanting on the floor..
He took a bottle of water and a small snack from the messy and disorganized chest and began walking over to his bed to rest. While walking to his bed, he suddenly lost balance & fell over, and just as he thought he was gonna faceplant on the floor, a pair of warm arms held him upwards and prevented him from probably breaking his nose.. but anyway, Mob looked up at whoever had just saved him, and it was a handsome face Verity.
"Oh.. hah.. hi Verity.." Mob greeted shyly, his usually dark cheeks bright red from embarrassment as he quickly steadied himself on his own feet and slowly backed away to his bed to sit back down and genuinely rethink his life choices. But his movements were quickly brought to a halt as Verity pulled him close to kiss him on the lips. Although Mob was caught completely off guard, the enderman didn't enjoy it any less. Twixxel was out exploring anyway; so he wouldn't see this spectacle.. miracle
Mob was blushing even more now, compared to when Verity saved him. But anyway, the two pulled away from each other, and It looked at Mob with a seemingly satisfied smile as the enderman hybrid tried to avoid its gaze both from embarrassment & his instincts.
The rest of the day passed like a blur, because Mob was still quite embarrassed about how Verity had to save him like that,
AND what he did afterwards..
But other than that, Mob finally was free of suffering from his fever not that long after.
Its good that Twixxel didn't see what the pair did..
