Chapter 2: what could have been

Summary:

my ideas for this fan fiction, if anybody was truly interested in what was gonna be shown

Chapter Text

This was mostly supposed to be a big metaphor for healing from a traumatic experience.

In most things i write, i like to add some sort of message to the story. Sun in the first chapter—although i wrote the first chapter while rapidly losing interest from when i thought of ideas for this, so the chapter doesn’t truly represent it well— was supposed to well sacrifice himself, ahem.. an analogy for a sucide ( i think thats how you use the word analogy? ).

i wanted to incorporate a sucide, not only because my story needs it to function, but also because sun had very little support around him: He had never gotten help with the traumatic event and in a sense the sacrifice seemed like a good option, had he never been told otherwise

while we dont truly see his traumatic experience happening: its much more clear if you base it off the actual show. He ends up stuck in his own head, kind of like how moon did. However, he seems to be in a dark forest ( i imagined it kinda looking like a creepy forest with sunflowers in it kinda like his actual headspace ) while this is a much more new idea— ahem… i got really inspired by flight smp graecie for this— i would imagine like there a shadowy figure, something that talks. while he doesn’t fully get attacked, unlike the original inspo ( is it original if this is added from the original plan? ) the shadowy figure does interact with him, scares him and kinda hurt him but more mentally i guess.

in the original original the figure was there in a completely empty black void. it was more of a empty black void and he would go crazy from being alone ( this is actually still supposed to happen in the added idea ) and the figure was more present once he got out.

this part was, although a bit hard to decipher, the stuck in its own head thing is supposed to show that recovery is not linear. the shadowy figure was meant to represent just the growing thought, pressure, panic and all of those emotions that come with recovery ( kinda fits with being stuck in their own head in the metaphorical sense )

While the hallucinations aren’t exactly directly a metaphor— being mostly there for the actual story part then for the message behind it— i did want them to still be present after, showing that the toughts still stay after healing, just get easier to manage.

i just wanted to clarify a bit more, although i belive the description is very self explanatory ( thats its story about healing )

Notes:

editing back here, this fanfic is discontinued, i have no interest in tsams and havent for a long time, whats left of this is all i got myself to work on since then, this will forever be one of my favourite projects i tried to start, but simply at the wrong time and space. maybe one day ill get myself to finish it, though that is unlikely. thank you for reading the first chapter of remember the past, and now the last
