Chapter Text
Frak had gone to his room and Wyldfyre was with the other dragons. Arin, Sora, and Euphrasia sat packing their bags. Sora hummed as she folded her gi. When they had all finished packing their bags, they got ready for bed.
“Euphrasia, you can take my bed.” Sora placed her bag in the corner by the door.
“Where are you gonna sleep?” Euphrasia turned face her.
“I'll just sleep with Riyu or Arin.” At hearing his name, Riyu, who had been sleeping in the corner, came running over. “Hey buddy.“
“Thanks, Sora.” Euphrasia said as climbed up the ladder to the upper bunk
“No problem,” Sora said.
A few minutes later, Arin came back into the room. The room was dark, apart from the light in the hallway. Euphrasia was curled under the covers of Sora's bed. Sora, on the other hand, was laying in Arin's bed. Her pink hair was loose, spread across the pillow.
Arin sat down on his bed and prepared to lift the covers when Sora stirred from her sleep. Sora groaned, rubbing her eyes.
“Ugh, Arin?” Sora leaned up slightly.
“Can you make some room for me?” She responded with a slow nod and Arin joined her under the covers.
After less than ten minutes, the room held four sleeping bodies.
Not long before sunrise, Sora woke. She went to stretch, almost pushing Arin of the bed.
“Sorry, Arin.” She whispered, her voice still rough from sleep.
“It's okay. We need to get up anyway.” They both got out of bed. Sora went to get ready in the bathroom and Arin woke up Euphrasia.
“Euphrasia. Wake up.” Arin poked her arm.
“What?” Euphrasia squinted in the low light.
“It's– it's time to get up. We leave in a few hours and we all have to get ready”
“Fine.” Euphrasia did not look happy about getting up. Arin climbed down the ladder to make room for her to climb down. Instead, she just jumped down and used her wind to cushion her fall.
Everyone continued to get ready for the day in relative silence.
