Chapter Text

Dear Jiyu,

SO MUCH HAS HAPPPENEDDDDDD.

Columbina is definitely the moon goddess. I asked her some questions; she’s very confusing.

But as I was leaving, I saw him.

I saw Aether, Jiyu.

I don’t think he was surprised to see me there; he was looking for the moon marrow as well.

Apparently, it holds answers about Teyvat?

Regardless, I accompanied him, and we investigated an underground sanctum together.

Lots of monsters in there, but I came out relatively unscathed.

I tried to ask him what he was planning, but the idiot wouldn’t tell me!

I thought he was going to take the relic. And I didn’t even try to stop him.

Is that horrible of me?

A fog set in before he actually did anything. It teleported me outside, and I got saved by Flins, the light keeper, from the wild hunt.

Wanted to give me an alibi, I guess.

Lauma realized what had happened and looked into it with Nefer, the boss of the curatorium of secrets.

They thought it was the Fatui.

It turned out to be correct: a former Scion turned to the Fatui and stole it.

Sandrone eventually gave it to us, and Lauma told everyone about the false sky.

Aino, the girl who made ineffa, made a cannon to fight against the wild hunt, and we went to see a test fire. It was okay.

The cannon of that giant ruin guard in the desert was better.

I asked Columbina to restore my memories of the spaceship… and everything. Aether got out first. He should’ve crashed with the ship, though. So… it doesn’t make sense. Like at all.

There’s a sinner of Khaenriah in Nod Krai, the Rächer of Solnari.

I don’t know what in the world that even means.

He was using the wild hunt to find fragments of his corpse to rebuild himself, and the cannon Aino made to make himself more powerful. It…kind of worked?

We fought and…nearly died. If it weren’t for Sandrone. She got us out at the last second, thankfully.

I’m worried. This is bad.

Might be my last letter for a while.

Notes:

Was hoping I could get up to where Wanderer actually comes into the story, but I fear this might be my last chapter for a while. Reading up on what happens from the wiki and figuring out what to add or not add was really a struggle D:

I hope you all enjoyed my first multi-chap anyway! :3

Notes:

About Wanderer's name. Jiyu means "freedom" in Japanese; I figured it was a fitting name for him.
