“HELL NO!! NO WAY AM I TRUSTING A BEAN!”
“A bean?”
“Y-yes… .. Human Bean!
“Heh- that’s certainly one way to say it”
“HEY!! Are you mocking me right now!! Is threatening my life not enough!”
“I’m not mocking you- nor threatening you- I can’t even see you.”
“You’re a Bloodthirsty Bean! As soon as I step out you’re going to smoosh me!!”
“Who told you that?”

“Well they were wrong- I won’t hurt you- you just scared me is all- I thought you were a rat-
Have a rat problem is a lot worse then… whatever you are-“

“What if I told you I was quite short for a Bean-“

“Hahah- well I guess that’s that evil plan foiled- I’ll get you next time-“

“I got you to come out didn’t I?”
“Well I just happen to be an amazing judge of character and I’ve determined you won’t hurt me-“
“Weren’t you literally just screaming at me 3 minutes ago about how dangerous I was?”
“That was then- I know better now-“
“Heh- fair enough I suppose, now do I get to know your name Mr Borrower? Or do you just get to invade my home and leave without a trace-“

“Now… are you sure you don’t want some food? I seem to have made too much sandwich for just me to eat-“

“Caught my evil plan again- oh nooo- guess I have to eat this whole sandwich by myself now-“
“Hey! Wait a minute I didn’t say that-“

“Anytime- if you ever need anything like food or shelter or- whatever- just come see me, my door is always open-“

Bdubs looked up at Etho’s cottage…
That first terrifying moment when they met had been a leap of faith on Bdub’s part and a deep kindness on Etho’s-
It had built trust and understanding-
And…
And the human had thrown that away because he didn’t want to deal with the drama..
Bdubs knew it was a lie-
Knew that Etho was the biggest Lier there was!!!
But it still hurt being pushed away-
To feel unwanted-
“Hey Bdubs! Do you have your things packed up?”
Impulse’s voice called over-
The moss clad borrower looked over at him-
“No-… not Yet Impy-“
“We’ll get a move on! X what’s us moving by sunrise-“
“Okay.. I’ll get on that-“
Impulse nodded and left Bdubs to pack-
Bdubs wanted to go confront Etho…
But the giant would brush him aside too easily.
And Likely ignore him if he tried to be persistent.
He didn’t know what to do…
But.. he couldn’t go without saying goodbye..
That’s for damned sure-
And if he happened to yell at Etho for breaking his promise not hurt him then…
Well what happens, happens… he can’t prevent that-
