After the school day ended Grace saw that Colt had texted him during the day at around 2 o'clock, all it read was
Colt
You still doing your PhD science stuff??
Now Grace felt like he had already told Colt he wasn't a technical scientist anymore but still had a PhD, he was sure that Colt would've seen it on the news somewhere... Maybe, he didn't actually know when it came to Colt.

Colt's phone buzzed later that day at around 8 AM with a notification from his twin, it read

Colt's phone buzzed a few times after he set it down, Jody had woken up and left their bedroom, she was headed towards the kitchen where Colt was standing, he assumed she was coming for coffee and breakfast.
"Hey Jode!" He greeted, a smile in his voice, he leant over and kissed her on the cheek as she reached for a mug out of the cupboard next to his head,
"G'morning" was all she said in return, Jody wasn't much of a morning person, that was why he had let her sleep when Colt had awoken at around half six to go and exercise,
"Want to know what Ry called one of his coworkers that got him fired?"
At that Jody's head perked up slightly, her eyes half lidded and tired though still intrigued
"Yeah Gowon then" she slurred out
"And I quote 'staggering waste of Carbon'"
"Was tha even mean?"
"That they were useless basically"
At that Jody laughed, though in her half asleep state it was more of a snort, after she made her coffee Jody walked towards the living room and held her mug in two hands, humming at the warmth.

After Grace had arrived back home he went to watch the TV, he actually changed the channel from the Australian one now and instead put on one of his favourite movies, Fantastic Mr. Fox. He didn't know why he loved foxes so much, but he did, maybe it was their cunning or they're trickery, maybe it was just their cuteness, he wasn't sure but god did he love the movie about the Foxes acting as human as can be. He also found the fact that none of the characters said swear words and instead just said the word "cuss" quite amusing, especially when he noticed the graffiti in the backdrop that said the word.

Once Jody fully woke up she told Colt that for Metalstorm they would be going to San Diego Comic Con and Colt practically jumped at the opportunity to go back to the states to be with his brother again, he was buzzing at the opportunity to introduce Jody and Ryland to one another. Not that Jody wasn't excited to meet Colt's family but she did like Australia, she had expected she would have to move around a lot for the job but she didn't think they would be leaving almost as soon as they wrapped filming and adding in effects in post, the wonders of filmmaking!
"So love, when are we going back to the states?"
"Soon Colt calm down" Jody laughed "I'll tell you when to start packing, now are you going to tell your brother we're coming or not?"
"I should probably text him huh?"
"Or call him"
"I'll do that now!"
Colt then went to pick up his phone and left towards his and Jody's bedroom to call his twin

At around 5 o'clock Grace's phone began to ring, the contact reading
Colt
When he picked it up and heard his brother's greeting he could hear the excitement in his voice,
C: Hey Ry!
G: Hi Colt
C: Guess what Jode just told me!
G: That you're over excitable?
C: No! That we're going to San Diego Comic Con for Metalstorm!
G: So that means...
C: We'll be in the states! I can come and see you!
G: Oh my goodness!!
C: What was that reply (laughter)
G: Oh shush you've said worse
C: Have I though?
G: Once you said golly gee wilikers
C: I SAID THAT IRONICALLY!
G: Sure... Anyway you're coming back! Heck yeah dude!
C: I'll come see you as soon as possible okay?
G: Come whenever you can don't worry about it!
C: Ok, I've gotta go now gotta go speak with Jody
G: Oh my god I get to meet Jody!
C: You're just realising now?
G: Shut up!
C: (gasp) you? Swearing? It's unheard of!
G: I'm a grown man I'm allowed to swear!
C: Ok I'm going to go for real now, bye Ry
G: See ya Colt

The next day after the school day ended, with quiet a lot of existentialism for middle schoolers, Grace was sitting in his classroom with his legs propped up on his desk a strawberry blonde woman came in saying,
"Knock, knock"
Grace replied,
"Who's there?"
"Not good at jokes"
Her voice had a thick German accent and she was clad in all black, she seemed stressed, Grace then said,
"Not good at jokes who?"
Then laughed awkwardly, whoever this woman was she seemed quite professional and serious.
