Summary
After a career-ending injury in the 1960s at the hands of Lord Voldemort’s supporters, young Alfred Potter leaves England for America to reconnect with distant cousins on his mother’s side. Now with the end of the Second Wizarding War, Alfred Potter, now Alfred Pennyworth, must step back into the British Wizarding World to protect the son of his cousin James that he never knew and formally introduce the family he gained in America to the Wizarding World.
Harry Potter was completely unprepared to meet Alfred Pennyworth and the giant family he brought to Britain post-war. Turns out Alfred and his adopted son, Bruce Wayne, held Harry’s Lordship privileges for Potter and Black, and they didn’t want a child at the head of those two ancient houses. Fine by him, Harry barely wanted to help with the reconstruction efforts already. He was so done being the Wizarding World’s scapegoat, maybe his father’s cousins could help him learn to relax?
TLDR: Harry just wants a nap while Alfred and Bruce argue over who gets to adopt Harry first.

As the months pass, she, for the most part, holds it together.
Until there is a close call and she discovers about his broken arm over the phone. It’s just a broken arm, he insists, but he knows that is not the reason why she is beside herself. It is the thought of what could’ve happened, were he a second slower, in the wrong place at the wrong time. At least he is in one piece, he thinks, trying to scrub away the image in his mind of a man he once knew, who was breathing just days ago. Someone’s son, someone’s father. Some nights he barely has enough time to sleep and he dreams of some epiphany, of a single glimpse of relief to make sense of what he’s seen.

Peter leaned back against the couch, tilting his head so his gaze could rest on Tony instead. The shadows from the television stretched across his father's face, outlining every familiar line, every detail Peter ached to remember. It felt like old times — like the countless nights they'd spent just like this — and he tucked the moment away deep inside, committing it to memory for when he returned back to his time.
"I just really wanted to see my dad," he whispered.
Two years have passed since Tony's sacrifice, and Peter still hasn't been able to move on. Everyone around him keeps telling him to, because that's what Tony would have wanted, but they didn't understand. They couldn't.
But somehow he ended up back in time, and Tony was here. Alive. And Peter was not going to waste a single moment.
And maybe, perhaps, he could bring him back home.
