Chapter Text
The rays made their way into Taeui’s room through the crack slipped between curtains and landed directly on the bed where two lovers now engaged lay.
Taeui, who was half asleep, could feel fingers stroking his hair and words being mumbled directly to him. Even though he couldn’t make them out, he knew it was something sweet, as the other was smiling, which was quite rare. Suddenly the same fingers that were patting his head flicked his forehead.
“Aah… why would you do that?” Rather than getting a response, all he could hear was snickering.
“I am sorry. Does it hurt?” Even though Ilay was apologising, Tae could hear the held back laugh in his words.
“What’s there to laugh about?” Taeui said as tried to sit up but fell down due to the back pain caused by their last night's activities.
Seeing this, Ilay let out the laugh he was holding and dragged Taeui closer to him.
“Let me go, you monster.” Taeui said as he struggled to escape the cage built by Ilay’s arm.Ilay’s hold only got stronger on him, leaving no space between them.
“How can I let go of my wife who is in pa… ” Before Ilay could finish his sentence, Taeui covered his mouth with his hands, but the damaged had already been done.
“YAAHH, WHO AGREED TO BE YOUR WIFE? AND YOU ARE THE REASON I AM IN PAIN.”
Taeui was clearly flustered and red due to the words said before. How can a person be this shameless. Taeui thought to himself?
“You are the one who said yes when I asked you last night.” He let go of Taeui, stood up and stretched his back muscles before walking towards Taeui’s side of the bed.
“I said I will marry you, not be your wife.”
“It’s the same thing, my love” Ilay said before he lifted Taeui in his arms and carried him to the bathroom.
Not believing the words spoken by the man he sometimes calls a monster, Taeui was in mental shock and didn’t utter any words until the bathroom’s door was swayed open.
“What did… you call me? He looked at Ilay, who was making sure the water was the right temperature for the shower.
“Why did you say 'love'?” Taeui clearly knew Ilay heard him, and also that his only intention was to tease Taeui. “Hmm… cat got your tongue, Taeil?”
Taeui, who was clearly too embarrassed to say anything, just pouted and avoided any sort of eye contact.
Soon Ilay joined Taeui for the shower. While Ilay washed Taeui down, Taeui tried his best to not look at Ilay and avoid any sort of conversation. Ilay noticed it and couldn’t help himself from wanting to tease Taeui more.
Ilay rested his face on Tae’s shoulder and positioned his lips just near Tae’s ear. “Why won't you talk to me, love? Don’t ignore me, love? Come on, you said you would marry me.”
All of a sudden, Taeui turned around and held Ilay's face between his palms; before Ilay could tease him or question him about it, Taeui closed the space between their lips. At first Ilay got surprised but soon gave in. Soon the sound of small gasps of air and heavy breathing echoed throughout the room.
Eventually they had to break their kiss in order for them to catch their breath. As both of them rested their foreheads on each other, Taeui spoke out, “Ilay Regirow, I love you, but at times you can be so annoying.”
Ilay, who was just as red as Tae, now couldn’t help but let out a small giggle. “You will just have to bear with me; after all, I have no plans of letting you go, ever.”
“Neither do I, you are mine now.”
“Always”
