Chapter Text
Tim Drake 1st or 2nd person
So Danny likes his new name but with his old friend calling him Danny felt amazing, it was great for the first day and last day as he was in the least pain so they were able to do more things together like flying practice, playing board games and intangibility practice. But most of the time it was just being in pain for 6 days more or less a week. A work week is five days and a normal week is 7 days. 6 days with the actual day being the 3rd day and the worst. Luckily he had the best of friends. He did wish some of his new friends could be here too. But it would be too risky. A week later he was on patrol with the bats as Robin. When on one of the roofs his sister had planned a birthday party for him with her friends. It was great to see his sister, but Danny knew there was something his sister knew, something he didn’t. And like clock work the next day he got the call to the Council of Ghosts and told that he now had more responsibility as the ghost king or more like king of everyone and everything. Back when he first became king he had one job show up sometimes when it was really important. Now he can get summoned and has to show up a bit more and has to come to a council meeting once a year.

I was tidying up after Danny’s death. It makes me so sad that he died and then suddenly a bunch of ghosts just showed up in my living room and told me that as the older sister of the king it is my job to keep him safe. So they gave me a magical ring that will teleport me to wherever Danny is when he gets summoned. Then it would take me back when I agree it is safe and sound. So I took the ring, thanked them and when they left I started planning his birthday party with Harly and Ivy and some of their friends. It was the night of the party I put make up on and went to the roof we planned for us and began to prepare. It was not long before Danny got there. We spent the whole time catching up. It was great. I said my goodbye when it was time to go and waited for the next day to come when Danny would get the news. 2 days later Danny came round as Tim Drake with my friend Barbara Gordon. Barbara introduced us.
“This my friend's younger brother Timothy Drake”
I was confused at the statement and Danny looked indignant. I turned to Danny and asked
“ I thought you said you had no siblings, mister Tim Drake”. Barbara looks stunned at how casually I told Tim and the way Tim answered that
“Dick wanted to be his brother and that he never will be”.
I laughed and went to get tea for me, Danny and Barbara. Barbara, still stunned, looked at Danny and silently asked what was going on. Danny silently answered we’ll tell you after tea. When we finished drinking the tea. Barbara looked at Tim waiting, I put my hand on his and told him
“He could say as much or as little as he likes”.
He shook his head took a breath and simply answered
“She is my sister always has been, always will be and somehow she figured out I'm Robin and set up a party for me.”
I piped in.
“Yep, Oracle the first Batgirl and Tim you gave yourself away by hanging out with the bats when we figured out who they were, remember?”.
Barbara was speechless. She asked one small question
“What?”
Me and Danny laughed and said
“We’re adopted me(Daisy) from my(her) Mums and Tim(me) by the Drake’s.”
We spoke at the exact same time, that fact for some reason, made us start laughing again. Danny spoke up
“No I’m double an adopted orphan and orphaned again by my adopted parents” (the mood changed from light hearted to serious in a second) “wow saying it out loud sounds terrible and now that I think of it all happened in the weeks coming up to my birthday.”
I got up and hugged my brother and Barbara wheeled over and hugged him too. He just cried for a bit in my arms when he calmed down a bit he asked in a quiet voice which I could barely hear he asked.
“Jazzy was this all my fault for fidling with things I didn't understand. If I never went to the basement we would just be regular teens, you off to college, me finishing high school. With our parents proud not dead turned to ash by their own stolen inventions.”
I felt awful and I quickly answered.
“No, no, no! You were 7, you didn't know all this would have happened, it was Mum and Dad’s fault for not keeping you out of the basement. All they had to do was lock the door. It was the killer’s fault for killing your parents. Danny it’s not your fault at all,” said Jazzy.
Someone coughed behind us. I remember Barbara was there, I turned around to see her. She looked sad. She said her goodbyes and left.#
