Scenario Proposal: The Constitution of the Dawn
The Awakening of the Technocrat King
In the year 2026, the brilliant and eccentric CEO of one of the world's largest technology multinationals tragically dies in a traffic accident. Diagnosed with ADHD, his hyperactive mind spent an entire lifetime accumulating an absurdly encyclopedic knowledge: he knew in precise detail everything from the chemical synthesis of modern vaccines to the reverse engineering of complex materials, industrial production chains, and public sanitation systems. Furthermore, he was an obsessive and erudite fan of George R. R. Martin's work, having consumed every single page of the books, watched all the TV series, followed interviews, the author's podcasts, and read countless community theories and fanfictions.
Instead of the end, he wakes up on Dragonstone in the body of Aegon Targaryen at 5 years old, right after the boy almost died from a devastating fever. What the maesters and his parents (Aerion and Valaena) believed to be a miracle from the Gods of Valyria was, in fact, the fusion of a 21st-century genius mind with the blood of the dragon.
The Revelation at Age 12 and the Perfect Triad
Unlike the original Aegon of canonical history—who was distant and maintained a clear preference for Rhaenys, generating a silent jealousy in Visenya—this Aegon uses his maturity and modern sensitivity to treat both sisters with absolute equality, respect, and affection. He recognizes Visenya's strategic, military, and political genius, as well as Rhaenys's charisma, artistic flair, and social vision.
At 12 years old, tired of carrying the burden alone and knowing he would need them to change the world, Aegon gathers them both in a private chamber on Dragonstone and reveals the entire truth: he tells them about his past life in 2026, his death, his technological knowledge, and, crucially, the tragic future that awaits House Targaryen and Westeros if they follow the original path of history.
Initially skeptical, the sisters are convinced when Aegon begins to accurately predict political events in Essos, deaths of lords in Westeros, and when he hands them the first high-tech steel prototypes and chemical formulas created by him. Instead of drifting apart, Visenya and Rhaenys become his greatest confidantes and allies. The bond between the three becomes unbreakable.
The Marriage at Age 16 and the Years of Preparation
At age 16, they marry out of dynastic duty and mutual love. From then on, the preparation for the Conquest is elevated to a scientific and industrial level never seen before in the known world:
- Exhaustive Training (With and Without Dragons): Knowing the risks of combat and the guerrilla tactics from the canon, the three train to physical exhaustion. They create synchronized flight tactics for Balerion, Vhagar, and Meraxes, studying evasive maneuvers against scorpions and arrows. On the ground, Aegon introduces advanced martial arts and modern self-defense tactics to his sisters, making them lethal both on top of their beasts and in hand-to-hand combat on dry land.
- Exponential Wealth: Using the market knowledge of the former CEO, the Targaryens revolutionize the economy of Dragonstone. They implement modern refining methods, optimized commercial shipping, and the manufacturing of high-value goods (such as enhanced fabrics and lightweight, high-strength metal alloys), multiplying the house's fortune to levels that rivaled the largest institutions of Essos.
- The Triad's Web of Spies: Anticipating the creation of their future intelligence agency, the siblings spend years planting highly trained spies and informants in every castle, tavern, and port across all Seven Kingdoms—and specifically in Dorne. They map out secret passages, each Lord's weaknesses, supply routes, and political dissensions ready to be exploited.
An Implacable Conquest and the Total Subjugation of Dorne
Thanks to this surgical years-long planning, the Conquest of Westeros is not a campaign of blind brutality, but an impeccable tactical execution. Enemy forces are dismantled by internal sabotage before the dragons even arrive.

- The Total Subjugation of Dorne: Knowing perfectly well how Meraxes and Rhaenys would die at Hellholt in the original history due to the Martells' scorched-earth and guerrilla strategy, the Triad anticipates it. Using their pre-established spy network, they locate and neutralize the Dornish scorpions before they can even be fired. Aegon uses his geopolitical knowledge to suffocate Dorne economically, blocking sea and land passes while offering generous surrender terms directly to the Dornish smallfolk and lesser houses, breaking the resistance from the inside out. Meraxes never falls, and Dorne is integrated into the realm during the very first campaign, bowing to the technological and strategic superiority of the Triad.
The New Civilizational Order
With the continent unified without the catastrophic casualties of the canon, Aegon, Visenya, and Rhaenys sit together to rule and promulgate The Constitution of the Dawn, structuring the realm under pillars that reflect the genius of the 21st century:
- Article I (Secular State and Science): The Iron Throne detaches itself from official religions. The Faith of the Seven loses its tax exemptions. The Grey Guard is created as a neutral police force to guarantee freedom of worship and social peace.
- Articles II and III (Penal Code and Human Equality): An end to the arbitrary justice of the lords. Nobles and smallfolk answer rigidly to the same laws. Cases of physical and sexual abuse receive severe punishments (mutilation and imprisonment), and investigations gain forensic methods brought by Aegon's medical knowledge. Prisons become productive complexes for infrastructure, with wings dedicated to the professional rehabilitation of inmates.
- Article IV (Universal Education and Gender): Creation of the Crown Schools, offering free, basic, and secular education for peasants and smallfolk. Absolute gender equality for public and military offices in the administration of the realm.
- Article V (The Royal Triad's Secret Network): Nonexistence of the Master of Whisperers post to prevent political betrayals. The realm's intelligence operates in a decentralized manner through anonymous reports, answering exclusively to the Royal Triad.
- Articles VI, VII, and VIII (Succession Laws and Dragon Control): Same-sex marriages in the royalty become legally integrated and protected through the use of assisted reproductive methods at the Crown Clinics (blending modern genetics and Valyrian blood magic). External family branches lose the mystical right to dragons after three generations of blood dilution, unless they voluntarily renew the blood via marriage with the main lineage. The military use of dragons in private disputes is forbidden under penalty of death for high treason.
- Article IX (Bicameral Structure): The government is divided between the Technical and Social Executive Council (composed of experts and a Representative of the People elected by the plebeian guilds) and the Council of the Seven Kingdoms (composed of the Lords Paramount to focus on macroeconomics and global trade).
