Chapter 1: A Night To Remember

Summary:

When Coy Piso and Hannah Bondalo get invited to a ball they know they have to go. But when someone looks like coys crush YOU KNOW ITS GOING TO GET HOT

Chapter Text

Coy was in his room picking out an outfit to go to an AMAZING MASQUARE BALL. His best friend Hanbon and he were invited to it for a content creator party! Coy was going to wear a normal suit. Boring, yes, but it seemed like it was the only thing he had in his closet. He was fiddling with his tie when a knock came from his door. He opened it and there he was; beautiful, blue eyed Anthony.
Ever since Coy ended up sleeping on Anthony's couch while couch surfing, Coy had a crush on him. Anthony's blue eyes just dragged him in for some reason—kind of like an ocean current. Even if you try to swim away, it always drags you back in. Coy then realized he was staring for too long and decided that his walls were more important than the hunk of a man in front of him. “Im trying to get ready,” Coy said, still trying to dodge the man's eyes. “What do you need?”
“I'm just seeing if you need any help,” Anthony explains, eyes lowering to the tie that still wasn't tied. Coy realized it wasn't and started to try tying it, but failed miserably.
“Here. Let me help,” Anthony offered, already grabbing the tie. They were closer now. Too close.
Coy looked at the blue eyed man again. His eyes were now scrunched up and he was biting his lip. “Damn, he looks hot,” Coy thought. He then mentally slapped himself for thinking that. Anthony was a “straight” man. Even though he joked about liking men, Coy knew he wasn’t serious.
Anthony was now finished, looking at Coy. The ginger was sure he was as red as a tomato. Anthony took his hands from the tie to Coy's shoulders. “Make sure you don't get too drunk tonight,” Anthony lectured the other.
“Okay, Mom.” Coy giggled, putting his hands on Anthony's. Suddenly, everything went quiet. Coy looked up again seeing if Anthony was alright. Those icy blue eyes he loved were locked with his emerald eyes.
The air was still tense, until a certain bright female voice broke it (I love you Hanbon). “Uhm, hello?!” Hanbon screamed.
Coy and Anthony broke apart, both as red as ever.
Hanbon sighed exasperatedly, “Coy, we have to go. Bye-bye, Anthony!” Hanbon grabbed Coy's hand as Anthony stammered out a goodbye. They then rode to the beautiful ball. (BAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAH)

When Coy and Hanbon got to the palace that the event was at, they couldn't help but gasp. It was magnificent—as if a flipping princess could live there (as Hanbon said). Music and laughter filled the halls of the ballroom. People they knew walked up to them. Groups that recognized Hanbon and Coy had amazing conversations together. On top of that, there was scrumptious food. Glamorous, mouth-watering food. The party was going great, until a person suddenly caught Coy's attention.
(Psst… its song time)
A striking man passed between people as he walked over to Coy. He had fluffy brown hair and a masquerade mask covered half of his face. But only half was needed. His eyes were the main show. All of a sudden, Coy felt a tight feeling in his stomach—a feeling of remembrance? Still, he brushed it off as the guy walked over.
“May I have this dance with you, kind sir?” The Man asked him. Coy then nodded.
As the mysterious man grabbed Coy's waist, Coy took his hand. Coy felt the same thing when he looked at the other man's eyes. It felt like “him”, but it wasn't. It was a complete stranger.
Coy was then snapped out of his trance as he started to dance. The music pulsed around them, beaming through every nook and cranny. They danced with grace and happiness. Everything felt euphoric in a way to Coy. The way the Man took lead in the dance, the way he moved in peace with Coy, and the way he whispered into his ear. It was definitely a night to remember for the both of them.
It felt as if as soon as the dance started, it had ended. Coy bowed to the Man as Hanbon called him over, telling him that she needed to leave. Coy then started to walk away. When the Man suddenly grabbed his wrists.
“Please, stay,” the Man begged. Coy's eyes shifted to his lips, remembering what happened with Anthony. He didn’t know what that meant to them now. Coy leaned up closer to the Man. “I swear I’ve seen you before,” Coy whispered to him. The Man huffed a quiet laugh.
“Then let's make you remember if you have seen me before,” he whispered and smiled into Coy's ear. This time when they danced, it felt more romantic. Every single step they took felt like they were in some stereotypical BL/yaoi/mlm novel. Coy hands tangled into the Man's hair as they swayed to the song. At the end, Coy kissed him softly with a smile. The Man then kissed him back.

Coy opened his eyes to see that he wasn't in his house. Instead, he was in another person's room. Coy sat up and looked to his side. There was no one there. A frown formed on Coy’s face as he looked to the other side to find a note.
The note read in barely legible handwriting, “Hey, pretty boy. Sorry I couldn’t stay longer. Sex was amazing, but my clients are a buzzkill. Love you and text me if you want to meet up again. (973-####-####) -XOXO the guy you think you have seen before.”
Coy laughed at the last part. He grabbed his phone when Hanbon called him. As he answered, he promptly got his ears chopped off by the woman.
“WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?! ANTHONY AND I ARE FREAKING OUT!!” Hanbon screeched.
“Chill, I stayed with the guy I met yesterday,” Coy chuckled, “It was definitely a night to remember.”
