The Devil can hear your prayers too.
He doesn't always come with horns and a pitchfork, sometimes he comes dressed up as everything you have ever wanted.

"He Is a fool." Rin scoffed. "I do not understand how you appreciate his presence."
Rin was his younger brother. He was quite annoying at times, but Sae loved him nonetheless.
"You seem to forget that I live alone on earth. You forget I have no company."
Rin averted his gaze towards the ground.
"I still do not understand why that is."
Sae smiled.
"It is my destiny. The destiny my God has given me." He simply said. "You have a different destiny as to that of mine."
"Why?"
Ah, Rin had always been curious.
He did not know the reason as to why Sae was barely even let inside the gates of heaven — and he chose to leave it at that.
He never wanted Rin to know the monster Sae truly was.
"Why can't my destiny be with you?"
"Because it is not meant to be."
"And why not?"
Rin was beginning to get agitated. Sae was answering everything and nothing at the same time.
"Because God has different destinies for us all." Sae said, his nonchalance not wavering. Not even once.
He was used to his brother's tantrums. But most of them, he was used to his demon's tantrums.
Even more than his brother, if he dared to say.
"Why won't you ask him? You have not done anything wrong."
Sae stood from the clouds.
"I have to leave."
Because the truth was that he had done something wrong.
Something terribly, terribly wrong.
And God knew everything .
And Sae had begged God to save him — he shoved more torment down his throat to keep Sae quite.
And Rin would always threaten — saying he woukd walk with his chin up to God's dias and demand Sae back.
But Sae had given up.
His body was aching and his throat was sore from screaming to a God who was not listening.
Who had, perhaps, never been listening.
He had given up.
He could not be redeemed — and perhaps he did not want to be.
And so, as Sae returned to his place on earth, he wondered to himself:
An I God's most hated or the devil's most beloved?
