"Adrien, It's time to go to school"
Adrien is already fully dressed, looking good as always, and has cheese in his pocket for Plagg.
"Come on plagg, in the pocket you go"
The drive to school was the longest drive ever for Adrien, after a whole night of fighting crime with his bugaboo, he was just ready to see his friends.
"Hey dude!" Nino exclaimed from the door
"Hey Adrien" Alya followed
"Hey guys!" Adrien said with a smile. "Where's Marinette?"
"Late as usual" Alya told him "How she manages to be late when she lives across the street is a never-ending mystery"
Adrien chuckled, "yeah that tracks".
The group went to 1st period, where of course, a stumbling mess of Marinette walked into the room.
Adrien felt his cheeks turn slightly red at the sight of her, but obviously he doesn't like her, she's just a friend!
Marinette was late because she of course also spent a long night fighting crime.
Marinette made her way to her seat next to Alya and they began chatting.
"Girl, HOW are you always late! I don't understand!" Alya said.
"I honestly have no idea, but I did get carried away with a sewing project last night" Marinette yawned and sighed.
Adrien spent pretty much the rest of class daydreaming about his spotted hero partner. He thought about how badass she looked fighting the akumatized civilian. Ladybug managed to entrap the giant between buildings, and fought the villain herself while Chat noir rescued civilians. Gosh she looked beautiful, her hair shined under the moonlight and her bright blue seemed to hold the stars in them. Adrien was in love. Pure love. His super-hero self was more flirtatious than Adrien could ever be, but underneath the black leather, he was a teenage boy awestruck.
Little did Adrien know the girl of his dreams was only a seat behind him. The girl who was always late to class, clumsy and shy to only Adrien. Marinette was THE ladybug, savior of Paris. And the holder of a superhero's heart.
Even better, of course Marinette has the biggest crush on Adrien, and as her super-hero self. Her cat-themed hero partner was the most friend-zoned person you've ever seen.
