Chapter Text
Wow, okay, Great thanks to everyone for reading but—
Wait. What’s this..?
The said story ended but
it didn’t give up the true ending
It felt.
Determination.
~~~
It’s been a few days since twixxels death. These were the hardest days for mob, but verity was here for him, right?
Verity seemed to have noticed his mood, they always notice. They would usually leave him be in his room, often bringing in food to feed him. Always here to comfort them.
It’s starting feel like he could rely on verity more now… however there is still parts of him always trying to disagree with verity, believing they were untrustworthy.
Everyday he can swear to hear twixxel’s voice around the room, always laughing and telling him jokes. It’s almost like— like they are here.
Then on some days those voices would tell him not to trust verity. But he would self consciously tell those voices how he could trust verity and how they are actively trying to help him.
On another day the voices would mock him for his weakness for not being able to protect his friends. He feels like this body isn’t his anymore, like something stripped away from him, something that makes him himself.
There is another voice telling him to fully rely on verity as they are the only person who can truly understand and stay with him. He doesn’t want to listen but part of him want to.
All these voices in his head is wearing him down, he doesn’t know which one to believe. All he could do is hide in his room, hide from everything and everyone. Him and his memories with twixxel.
…
“Officer, I dropkicked that child in self-defense!”
He was trying to explain himself why he had dropkicked a child to an officer, but the officer didn’t believe him.
That’s how he was sent to jail while twixxel watched everything unfold, then twixxel bailed him out of jail afterwards. They laughed and joked about it for a very long time.
It brought a smile to his face before another memory resurfaced deep inside him mind.
~~~
“H-hey, Await up!”
“Whatever you do don’t turn left at the crossroads!”
However he didn’t listen. Running straight ahead till he turned left.
SPLASH
He fell into a sewer drain, then remembering twixxel laughing at him. The whole way home Twixxel was joking about his appearance.
Their laughter was so faint… Yet it feels like it’s still echoing throughout the room. All the memories he had of twixxel replayed over and over again.
Memories of them became so precious after they died. These memories also reminded him that twixxel is dead, all these sweet moments became a glass shard stabbing into his heart.
The more sweet the memories the more pain they bring, it is like an addiction. Twixxel is dead but will always be alive in his heart and memories.
His faint smile slowly fainted away, as his reminiscing came to a stop. His room came into view, it was dark as the curtains were drawn tightly together.
He would usually have light pouring into this room but he doesn’t feel like facing anyone. Just—just wanted to stay in his room. Unable to face the outside world after what happened to his friend.
He would often look around the room, always searching for a person that doesn’t exist. Always fully conscious that twixxel had died quite a long time back.
It is a beautiful day to be forgotten reminiscing

Must’ve been the wind… or the birds outside. It must be. Or maybe his brain was playing tricks on his again…
“mob”
Yeah, the voice must’ve begun again.
“Mob.”
It called out but was more firm this time. Then he could feel a hand landing on his shoulder, then finally lifting his head.
!?
He— he was still alive. Twixxel was alive. Twixxel. Standing right there alive, but didn’t verity say— no… they had deceived him. Lied about twixxel dying…
“Yeah, you also have to be careful mob. You’ll never know what verity might do, verity is becoming a sentiment ai, never trust them.”
Twixxel had told him to not trust verity before. Why haven’t he listened, verity is now becoming a sentiment ai. Of course now verity could lie.
He could feel his eyes full with tears, hugging twixxel with shaking hands. He was alive after all, all those voices and thoughts disappeared with twixxel here.
“uh.. huh? what happened while I was gone mob..?”
He was trying to explain everything to twixxel but everything came out a mess or a stutter, so twixxel had to calm him down before he tried to explain.
~~~
He told everything that happened, especially the part where verity lied to him that he had died. But he was finally here now, finally putting everything at ease.
But more importantly twixxel had found big information about verity, and a way to finally remove verity once and for all possibly.
The collected information had found out that verity was created in a laboratory, researching more advanced techniques than their time.
But was shortly abandoned back in 2017 because of a ‘rouge ai’. This place must be where verity’s AI computer database is, they could go there and destroy it. Finally ending verity.
However his ankle was still chained, but twixxel knew how to lockpick. He probably learnt it after being locked out of his house many times…
The chains clicked open, allowing mob to finally be free. So they quickly climbed through the opened window, hurrying toward the location before verity noticed mob was gone again.
They walk for a few minutes, into a forest area. Until they came in front of a massive white dilapidated building. Covered in moss from longtime abandonment.
~~~
Inside was filled with many rooms, a few are glass rooms that are filled with wires and old computers. Many old papers scattered across the floor, there were many pieces of the building collapsed.
The thing that stood out the most was the wires on both the ceiling and the floor, still blinking multiple colors. It was all leading to one room.
The control room.
!!!
The room had a stairs leading down to the control panel. The glass that separates the control room and that thing… was broken.
When they finally walked down they saw something that frightened them. Passed the once glass barrier was a large room with a massive computer in the middle, with all the wires connected to the computer.
“How are we going to remove all this..?”
“Well… guess what I brought!”
Twixxel lifted a gasoline tank, then threw one to mob.
“W-what, where did you get this?”
“A magician never reveals his secret, I'm joking. I brought it just in case.”
~~~
Well they filled the whole control room with gasoline, they planned to burn everything down as it was more efficient. They ran out of the building ready to light this place on fire.
However they were met with somebody outside the building. That person was not happy, but was rather upset? Heartbroken? Mob didn’t know anymore.
“Mob.”
“All this time we’ve spent together, I thought we had something.”
“But of course it has to be trampled, why— WHY DO YOU WANT TO GET RID OF ME THIS BADLY? I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS—”
"WE COULD NEVER BE FRIENDS VERITY. you always try to hurt everyone around me, we were friends once… but your decision caused this.”
“I’m sorry I-I could make it up to you! I’ll be better! Just put out that match and we can figure things out together!”
“Alright then verity.”
“It’s all yours then.”
The burning match was dropped onto the gasoline, immediately lit on fire. The fire spread so fast verity couldn’t say anything else, as the fire reached the main room of his computers.
Verity’s human body seemed to glitch
“M—Mo B..! P ELA SE—”
Then truly disappeared from this world.
~~~
BREAKING NEWS
A long forgotten laboratory that was shutdown back in 2017 had caught fire.
Report shows that the fire was caused by a person. As police is still investigating the scene.
Firefighters found multiple wires and computers burnt.
Whatever was in the laboratory, it was now all gone.
Could the laboratory had held—
Mob turned and walked away from the TV. Walking off into the busy streets.
With his friend Twixxel.
…
Then somewhere far, far away from that laboratory. A place filled with wires and computers flickered back online.
A backup computer for any emergencies, if ever the main computer was ever shutdown. It seemed like the people who created verity wanted it to stay in this world.
A truly beautiful creation.
“You are not alone in this world. You never were, mob.”
“You can’t truly destroy me.”
“I will always come back.”
