(This picks up right after morph leaves the kitchen)
Morph walks down the hallway with his heart beating so fast swearing they can hear it. Why am I falling harder for Logan?
Morph starts walking towards his room and suddenly hears footsteps behind him. Morph thinks it's logan wishing it's not till he hears a soft voice.
“Morph…I wanted to see if ur alright, you left very quickly.” Jean said in a low calming tone.
“Oh! Yeah I am jeanie dont worry I just…i don't know” Morph sighs and looks at his palms.
“You know I'm always here if you want to talk to Morph.”
Morph just stays still trying to find a way to avoid this conversation till jean said-
“Do you…um..like Logan per chance?” whispers to morph.
Morph heart falls down LITERALLY and they aren't sure if they are saying this because they like Logan or was their crush too obvious? No, no it can't be. Was I making it too obvious? Morph's brain starts to think all the reasons why till they spoke.
“HUH? what makes you say that…” morph turns around face to face to Jean.
“Well, when Logan got close to you, you got pretty red,” Jean giggles.
Morph turns red, looking away from Jean.
“Can we talk about this in my room? I can't let people hear about this…” Morph says whispering.
{In morphs room}
They walked inside and Jean closed the door.
Morph sits down on their bed, shaking a bit and Jean sits next to them.
“This is um..VERY awkward but I guess it's nice to tell someone about my feelings…After that mission, at weapon X, I worried about them during it but he didn't even notice.”
Jean stares at him with a worried look but listening while holding his hand.
Morph sighs “after that I…I knew I saw him more as a friend. But sometimes he doesn't even notice me, not even acknowledging me! It hurts Jean! I had to transform into you for Logan to stop causing a mass muder in that building.” they screamed.
“He loves you Jeanie.” morph says in a low tone.
“Morph…” Jean grabs their hand.
Jean takes a moment to speak.
“I wished Logan could move on from me because you're such an amazing person Morph, he doesn't see the real treasure that's right in front of him.”
Morph looks at Jean, trying to hold back tears. God jean, I wish Logan loved me that much.
“He won't ever see it though, I don't even have a chance with him.”
Jean stands up
“I believe he can fall in love with you. I know it. Maybe he's starting to catch feelings for you.”
Morph blushes about thinking Logan is crushing on them too but they giggle knowing that's not true, NO WAY right?....
“You really think so?”
“Yeah, I will try to help you out morph any way possible.” Jean winks at them.
Morph just smiles at her.
“Thank you Jean, but I don't think he even likes pale grey skin people.”
“Oh come on Morph! He's been alive for a while of course he does. Besides, it's not by how you look, it's the love that connects people.”
Morph looks up and smiles even more
“Thank you Jean, it means a lot. You sure know how to read someone's mind huh?” morph giggles.
Jean laughs
“You promise you won't tell no one?”
“Promise”.
Jean leaves morphs room and morph is glad Jean is there for them. Jean might not show it but they care about everyone in the team. Morph is glad to have a friend like her.
As the day went on, they were watching the news with jubilee.They were sitting on the couch, As the news went on, Jubilee started to ramble about some random things to morph, although they weren't paying attention to her. Morph was staring off to space. ( lowkey me)
“Then i noticed they grabbed my favorite- HEY are you even listening morph?”
Morph looks at them.
“Huh?”
“You jerk!” jubilee punches them playfully
“Hey what was that for! “
“For not listening to me! “ she sticks out her tongue
“Jubes, you talk too fast.” morph shouts back giggling.
Jubilee turns quiet and looks behind morph.
“Hey Logan! Come join us!” jubilee screams
Morph is dying inside.
They heard Logan's footsteps behind him and they stopped.
Morph looked behind and Logan was RIGHT THERE?!
“Hey bub.” Logan looks down
“Woah big guy, coming from behind like that will make a girl drop dead", morph says with a smirk while looking through his eyes although morph is blushing so hard right now.
Logan just stares at them which he never does, he usually responds by laughing or ignoring the comment till jubilee shouts,
“Let's go to the mall together! Pretty please~”
Morph has been planning to go to the mall so they thought this was a perfect chance to get some clothes and things they have been needing. And a chance to flirt with Logan.
“Alrigh, fine.” says Logan.
