Chapter Text

Sundown came and Dunk begrudgingly made his way down to the nearby inn to meet the prince, who he came to learn was named Aerion by the gossiping inn ladies. Dunk leaned against a tree by the inn and wished he could fly off to Arlan. Arlan would probably give him a clout in the ear for his cowardly instincts but Dunk was trained to fist fight an alpha not deal with alpha royalty that wanted to hunt him down for some reason.

"Look at that, you actually came," Aerion drawled as he looked Dunk up and down with a hint of hunger in his gaze.

"Did I have any other choice? If I ran you would've put out wanted posters for "Dunk the tall" all over the land," Dunk held back rolling his eyes.

"Dunk… is that short for Duncan?" Aerion handed Dunk a lantern.

Dunk shrugged. "Maybe? I've only ever been known as Dunk and I never got to ask my dam or sire if I was meant to be Duncan."

Aerion hummed and gestured towards the woods. The two started the trek into the wilderness in silence for a few minutes. The kingsguard were missing from Aerion's side which unsettled Dunk. Dunk occasionally glanced at the prince out of curiosity. The man seemed very serious about this matter of finding an extinct reptile.

"If you have questions, I'd rather you just ask them rather than look at me with mindless expressions," Aerion stared ahead as they walked.

"Why do you want to find such a beast? I know your family were dragon riders in the past but they've still maintained power without the creatures," Dunk kept his gaze ahead.

Aerion scoffed. "We were majestic dragon riders before a civil war destroyed the pride of our house but I have no need for a weapon. And to answer your question I intend to take the dragon as my mate," Aerion huffed.

Dunk almost tripped over himself. The alpha told no lies from his overpowering scent being laced with a hint of lust. Dunk hoped no sourness poured out of him. Dunk was still skeptical over Aerion's statement saying he didn't need a weapon. All men lusted after power according to Arlan.

"Oh uh that's very nice milord. I hope you find your intended out here," Dunk lied. This situation was incredibly stressful. Dunk was under the impression that the prince simply wanted him as a prize to lord over the small folk not a bride to bear his future children. For once the town gossip was accurate.

"You think I'm crazy don't you?" Aerion stopped and crossed his arms.

"I don't think you're crazy milord. Crazy would be the man I saw in a village up north that thought he could control the thunder and snow," Dunk stopped in his tracks.

Aerion narrowed his eyes at Dunk and started to walk again. "My family says I'm delusional for wanting to take a dragon as a mate. I think it would be a perfect match since the blood of old Valyria runs through our veins."

Old Valyria was mentioned by Arlan a few times when he told Dunk of how the dragon lords came to power in Westeros. Arlan doubted that Dunk's mother was directly from Valyria and told him that his lineage wasn't worth agonizing over.

"What if the dragon tries to run away milord?" Dunk nervously asked.

Aerion raised an eyebrow and looked a bit appalled by the question. "The dragon wouldn't run. They'd know that we are one and the same and meant to be," Aerion said seriously.

Dunk nodded and focused on navigating the forest. He ignored the chill that went up his spine at Aerion's declarations. His inner beast certainly reveled in such a powerful alpha showing interest. Dunk internally chided his dragon side for swooning over a man he barely knew.

The best course of action was to go along with Aerion's whims until he left for the next village.

💥💥💥

Aerion didn't know what to make of the man who accompanied him into the forest. The omega didn't seem too disturbed that he was alone in the woods with an unmated alpha of the crown and didn't laugh at his intentions with the dragon he hunted.

They stopped at a stream to rest for a little bit and Aerion took the opportunity to observe Dunk. The omega had a kind clean shaven face with dirty blonde shoulder length hair. The clothes he wore were thread barren and looked like he played in the ashes of a fire pit. If he cleaned up a bit more I might be tempted, Aerion thought. Brief thoughts of taking Dunk back home to serve him crossed his mind.

Dunk filled his water flask and sat nearby Aerion. "We can make camp for the night soon and then head back in tomorrow afternoon. I don't think we'll find much since we haven't seen any tracks yet."

"Who said we'd give up after a single day of searching?" Aerion sipped at his canteen.

"The woods aren't very large milord. At best it would only take us three days to cover the area and we've already walked a third of it. The last third is mostly rocky terrain and mountains and I doubt we'll find much there," Dunk explained.

Aerion crossed his arms and leaned back in against the tree. "Fine we'll do it your way. I doubt the white cloaks will be upset that I'm gone for another day."

"Did you mean to leave your guards behind?"

Aerion gave Dunk a blank look. "They’re more of a nuisance than actual protection. The only reason they agreed to accompany me is because they thought this would be a three moon long vacation."

"Three moons?"

Aerion waved a hand in a frustrated gesture. "I was given three moons to find this dragon by my uncle before I'm forced to return home. I refuse to return a failure," Aerion clenched his fists.

"Not to pry too much but how much longer do you have?" Dunk fidgeted.

"A week at most. I- I don't know how to explain it but I feel like this is the area where they'll be. It's like the dragon is close by and I can feel it," Aerion frowned.

Dunk paled at Aerion's words. A peculiar sight. Dunk was definitely hiding something and Aerion was intent of getting to the bottom of this mystery omega.

"Well I'll set up the bedrolls then. Good thing there's no chance of rain tonight," Dunk got up and rifled through his pack.

Aerion silently watched the omega with interest. Peculiar omega indeed.

💥💥💥

Nightmares rarely plagued Dunk but the stress of a prince that slept a few feet away made his dreams very vivid. He dreamed of himself in his dragon form. He flew towards dream Aerion who had outstretched arms and was dressed in wedding attire. He landed and started to nuzzle Aerion with his large snout when Dunk awoke covered in sweat.

Smoke came out of his nostrils as he tried to catch his breath. Dunk looked over to Aerion who was blissfully asleep and unaware of Dunk's predicament. Dunk sighed and went to clean himself up in the stream. There were many nights he woke up covered in ash from the smoke and fire in his windpipe. Arlan used to laugh at Dunk and say he looked like bellowing chimney.

"A wake up call would've been nice," Aerion drawled.

Dunk jumped a little in the stream. He tried to sink himself lower than waist level when Aerion stared at his torso for a little too long. "You looked so peaceful. I did not want to wake you so early."

Aerion sniffed the air. "Do you smell that?"

"Smell what milord?" Dunk played dumb.

"That's the smell of ash from dragon fire," Aerion stated as if it were the most obvious thing.

"Are you sure it's not regular ash from a normal fire?" Dunk sunk lower into the water. He felt some scales appear on his lower back from anxiety.

"The smell of ash from dragon fire has a spicier undertone than regular ash. It's how Harenhall has that distinctive smell despite being in a rainy environment. The dragon must've been nearby," Aerion sniffed the air again. "We set out again after I've bathed," Aerion turned to go and retrieve a change of clothes.

Just my luck, he knows the smell of dragon fire ash, Dunk thought bitterly as he got out to dry himself quickly.

As he pulled on a shirt and pants Aerion appeared behind him giddy with a smile. "This is great news Dunk. My search shall be over soon since I know these are the woods they reside in!"

Dunk nodded with a weak smile. He watched as Aerion practically skipped to the stream to bathe. Dunk was ready to just fly away in fear from the prince. No one within their sane mind got excited over a beast who spewed fire that could melt stone.

💥💥💥

They continued their journey in silence. Dunk's mind was muddled in a soup of anxiety and fear. He was so lost in thought he almost ran into Aerion who stopped abruptly.

Aerion sniffed the air again. "The scent is getting fainter we're probably going further away from the dragon. Let's stop here to rest," Aerion clicked his tongue.

Dunk and Aerion sat next to each other at a base of a large oak. Dunk studied Aerion for a few seconds.

"I thought we talked about you staring," Aerion snipped.

"I'm sorry I just- I'm still confused on why you want to take a dragon to mate. Not that there's anything wrong with that," Dunk added quickly.

Aerion sighed. "When I was a boy my mother described how she wished on a star describing her perfect match. She said she wanted a strong alpha who wasn't afraid to be soft with her. The match between her and my father was done for political ties but it was also a love match." Aerion paused and looked up at the sky. "I've only dreamt and wished for a mate that would be as powerful and beautiful as the dragons my house sigil honors. They say the old gods sculpted them with the fire beneath the earth."

Dunk stared at Aerion with a sad smile. Aerion spoke of dragons with such reverence as if they were close to the gods with their beauty. And Dunk sat there knowing he was a simple man that would definitely disappoint the prince if he discovered the truth.

"I think you'll find a mate just as powerful and beautiful as yourself my prince," Dunk said quietly. He looked at the ground, he could not bear to look at Aerion who was too handsome to be bound to such an unworthy omega. An omega too tall and cursed by the gods to be a fire hazard covered in scales.

"What about you?" Aerion tilted his head in question.

"What about me?"

"Why haven't you taken a mate from that village? You had no drought of potential suitors when I asked about you," Aerion smirked.

Dunk flushed red. "No one should be bound to me. I'm an orphan from Flea Bottom that doesn't even fit the ideal omega standard. I'm content to live alone."

"You're more tolerable than most of the "ideal" omegas at court. You act like a feral cat with how skittish you get but I don't find myself wanting to throw myself off a ledge when we talk," Aerion studied his nails.

"I hope you have more charming words when you encounter the dragon. Those words weren't very honeyed," Dunk joked.

Aerion blew out a raspberry. "I won't need words to sway the beast. One look between us and the beast will swoon."

Dunk hated that Aerion was slightly correct on his prediction. His inner dragon wanted nothing more than for Dunk to pounce and snuggle Aerion into a tight embrace.

"Whatever you say my prince," Dunk chuckled.

"And Dunk?"

Dunk looked over to Aerion.

"I think whatever alpha chooses you will be lucky. I've only known you for a day and you seem kind," Aerion's cheeks tinged pink. His sugary scent enveloped them and mixed with Dunk's earthy one. Dunk found that he didn't mind how the alpha smelled.

Dunk nodded. "Thank you Aerion," Dunk smiled warmly.

Aerion nodded and turned away with his cheeks now fully red.

💥💥💥

Nighttime fell and they started to set up camp. Aerion was a bit peeved at their lack of progress and set up his bedroll with a sullen expression. They had explored majority of the forest with no sign of the dragon anywhere. The only reason Aerion had kept a level mood was because of Dunk's positive attitude and encouragement.

Dunk sat on his bedroll and held out a bag of jerky to Aerion. Aerion took a few pieces and thanked Dunk.

"We should be a few hours walk away from the inn. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help to you my prince," Dunk apologized.

Aerion sighed. "It's no fault of yours Dunk. Maybe this is a sign from the gods to give up and just let my father throw the best omega from court at me."

A noise that sounded suspiciously like a growl came from Dunk who rushed to cover it up with coughs. "Sorry I had a tickle in my throat." Dunk cleared his throat. "I think that maybe you should take some time to yourself after going through such a difficult journey."

"Are you all right? That cough sounded rough. And perhaps you're right but I do want pups soon," Aerion brought his knees closer to his body.

Dunk stared at Aerion and bit his lip. The omega looked conflicted and started to fiddle with a lose thread on his shirt.

"Dunk are you all right? You're acting odd," Aerion asked in concern. The omega's scent of ash and rainfall had an edge of anxiety to it that upset Aerion.

"It's- Never mind. I think I just need rest," Dunk started to turn red.

Aerion narrowed his eyes and scooted closer to Dunk and touched his forehead to his.

"Milord what are you doing?!" Dunk tried to back away.

Aerion kept Dunk in place and held his shoulders. "I'm checking your temperature for a fever. You're running a bit warm. Do you feel cold?"

Dunk shivered at the touch and closed his eyes to calm himself.

Aerion backed up a little and looked up at Dunk's face. He was truly a subtle beauty up close and Aerion's breath ghosted Dunk's lips. Right before their lips could touch a symphony of growls erupted in front of them.

A pack of three wolves prowled and approached them with their teeth bared. Aerion and Dunk slowly stood up. Aerion unsheathed his sword and Dunk cursed himself for leaving his sword a few paces away.

"Stay behind me. I'll take them down," Aerion held his sword in front of him ready to attack.

The wolves almost rivaled direwolves in size and Dunk winced when the first one lunged at Aerion. Aerion swung and landed a swipe on the wolf's leg. It whined in pain and another quickly went in for the attack. It's jaws snapped and clamped down on Aerion's left shoulder. Aerion cried out in pain and collapsed to the ground.

Dunk let his emotions take control and unleashed his talons. He swiped at the wolf on Aerion and got the animal to release him. The wolves started to back away but Dunk unleashed all the fire building in his throat for the past few days. The pack retreated with patches of fur missing and fire consuming their limbs. Dunk gasped for air and caught his breath.

Aerion whined as he laid on the ground bleeding out. "Dunk… I see fire," the prince muttered as he almost succumbed to blood loss.

Dunk rushed over to Aerion and ripped part of his shirt to dab at the blood. "Aerion stay awake for me please," Dunk pleaded.

Aerion's eyes fluttered open. "I'll try for you Dunk. My omega," he mumbled.

Dunk closed his eyes and let the transformation take over as he lifted Aerion into his claws and flew them to his cave. He prayed that he could heal Aerion before it was too late.

Dunk laid Aerion on a pile of blankets in his cave as he cleaned up the wound to the best of his ability. Fever had taken over Aerion from the blood loss and Dunk panicked before he knew what he had to do. He leaned over the flesh wound and thought about sad things. Vague memories of his mother. Arlan almost losing a leg at a tourney. The taunts of the other kids in Flea Bottom.

Tears fell onto the torn flesh and Dunk watched the flesh mend itself back together. The blood had ceased pouring out of Aerion's shoulder and only mild bruising was left.

Dunk sighed in relief as Aerion's breath evened out. He was thankful for accidentally discovering his tears healing properties when Arlan had an infected arm wound and Dunk sobbed over him one night.

Dunk watched over Aerion as he started to properly bandage his shoulder and hoped that the prince would react calmly to what had occurred.

💥💥💥

Aerion woke to a burning sensation in his shoulder. His eyes flew open and he tried to sit up when he remembered the wolves in the forest. The forest was nowhere to be found and he was laid on blankets in a cave on sorts with his shoulder bandaged up.

"Oh you're awake. Careful now I was worried from all the blood loss," Dunk approached him with a wineskin full of water.

"How am I alive? That wolf tore through muscle. And I saw fire?" Aerion pinched the bridge of his nose.

Dunk sat next to Aerion and handed him the water. "I healed you. Using some natural remedies…"

Aerion narrowed his eyes. "What exactly are these natural remedies?"

Dunk looked down at his hands. "My tears."

A few beats of silence passed.

"Your tears? Be serious Dunk that's impossible," Aerion started laughing.

Dunk frowned. "I did! I healed you with my tears! Your shoulder muscle had to be mended somehow!"

Aerion wiped a tear. "That's impossible. The only tears that contain healing properties are-" Aerion whipped around to face Dunk.

"You. The fire came from you. That ash smell came from you. You're the dragon?!" Aerion cried out. Aerion looked Dunk up and down in confusion.

"I'm sorry for my deception. I had to be sure that you wouldn't hunt me down to keep me trapped in the dragon pit or use me as a weapon," Dunk blew out a small whisp of smoke.

Aerion stared at Dunk with wide eyes and then frowned. His scent turned sour. "Was it to make a mockery of me? Did you intend to lead me to nowhere to laugh?"

"No! I was scared! You came here and demanded me as a guide and then bare your soul to me out in the woods. I was sure that you'd be severely disappointed that the creature you sought out so badly was a plain looking omega who can barely control his fire!"

Aerion squeezed his eyes shut and then opened them to look at Dunk with sadness. "I wouldn't be let down that you were what I seeking. I was let down by your lack of faith in me. I would've never mistreated you. I would've loved you like a treasure to be coveted," Aerion murmured.

A tear rolled down Dunk's cheek. "Aerion I'm sorry. I'll help you down to the village tomorrow," Dunk got up to put some distance between them. His heart was threatening to burst from his chest.

Aerion grabbed Dunk's hand. "Dunk please. Don't leave it like this," he pleaded.

Dunk shook his head and gently removed his hand from Aerion's grasp. "I'm sorry Aerion," he whispered. Every step Dunk took away from Aerion felt like torture but Dunk knew it was for the best.

💥💥💥

Dunk and Aerion arrived back at the inn and didn't exchange a single word on the trek down. Aerion looked at Dunk with eyes filled with sadness and regret. He stared at Dunk as if he had so much to say but kept his words to himself.

Dunk handed Aerion his pack he retrieved from the forest. "Goodbye Aerion," Dunk mumbled sadly.

Aerion took the pack and looked up at Dunk. "Goodbye Dunk. If you ever change your mind, I'll be waiting at Summerhall," Aerion took Dunk's hand and placed a kiss on the back of it.

Dunk watched the prince reunite with his guards and held back tears. This was how it was supposed to be. He was a freak of nature and Aerion belonged in a castle that suited him. Dunk forced himself to turn around and head back to his cave.

The cave felt less like home and more like a hollow reminder of how alone Dunk was. When he was on the road with Arlan at least his presence filled the void but the few days he spent with Aerion really emphasized how lonely he had become. Dunk looked around his cave and sighed. Perhaps it was time to visit the one man he considered a father figure.

Nightfall came and Dunk packed lightly before he transformed and started the short flight to Pennytree. Hopefully Arlan wouldn't be too upset by the abrupt visit. Dunk landed in a nearby field a few miles from Pennytree so he could transform back and changed into the clothes from his pack. Throughout the walk to the village Dunk tried to come up with what to say to his former mentor about his problem.

The door of Arlan and his sister's cottage stared back at Dunk as he hesitated to knock.

"Lad are you going to stand in the way all day?" a familiar voice called from behind him.

Dunk turned to face a smiling Arlan. Dunk felt the first tear roll down his face as he pulled Arlan into a tight embrace. Arlan pat Dunk's back as he sniffled and cried. The smell of ale on Arlan didn't even bother Dunk in the moment.

"Ok ok something's wrong. Let's get inside and see what we can do," Arlan rubbed Dunk's back as they went inside.

Dunk sat at the table with a steaming mug of some mystery herbal tea concoction that Arlan's sister swore by. She thankfully left for a friend's house to give the two privacy during Dunk's breakdown.

"All right boy, what are you up in arms about? Are you pregnant? Did an alpha break your heart?" Arlan sipped his mead.

"A Targaryen prince came by the village I live near," Dunk started. Arlan raised an eyebrow and gestured for him to continue. "He was on a mission to find a dragon that was spotted near the village… so he could marry them."

Arlan groaned. "He got you pregnant didn't he?"

"What? No! I'm still… pure! I was going to say that I spent a few days in the forest with him helping him "track" the dragon down," Dunk explained.

Arlan frowned. "Very brave of you to be alone with an unmated prince in the woods but go on."

"We got ambushed by wolves and he got injured. I didn't want him to die so I transformed into my secondary form and healed him with my tears. He offered to be with me despite my lies and I walked away from him," Dunk felt the tears well up in his eyes.

"Most would cut off their left ear for what that prince offered you. Why'd you walk away from him? It's clear you're fond of him."

"He talked about dragons as if they were individually crafted by the gods to be beautiful blessings. And I'm just me! I was cursed to be a fire breathing beast not the bride to a prince of the realm!"

Arlan smiled in amusement at Dunk. "I'm not too fond of the crown but I think this kid makes your mind mush. For once in your life stop hesitating and just got for it. You'd agonize about what to eat if I wasn't with you. If you let him go you'll regret it until you're old like me. Seven knows how many regrets I have."

"I can't just fly up to him and say I'm sorry," Dunk mumbled.

Arlan shrugged. "Why not? There's no rules to these things."

Dunk frowned and thought about how he'd be received by Aerion if he flew up to Summerhall as a full dragon. His frown morphed into a smile. "You're right," Dunk leaned back in his chair.

"Well that's settled. Now you said you can fully transform now?" Arlan laughed.

Dunk sipped his tea and caught Arlan up on all the abilities he discovered. He'd set out to get his prince tomorrow.

💥💥💥

Summerhall was barely tolerable to Aerion after his adventure with Dunk. The time they shared was short but his presence soothed Aerion's nerves and made him smile. Maekar and Baelor already started to show him a portfolio of noble omegas to parade around him since his arrival. Aerion's heart ached for the tall omega who didn't laugh at his loud declarations and spewed fire at wild wolves to save him.

Aerion sighed as he looked out the window in his father's solar.

"Aerion if you sigh again. I will banish you to Daeron's room," Maekar scolded.

Aerion didn't even try to argue with his father and continued to stare outside at the rolling hills. He wondered if Dunk missed him as much as he did. Aerion didn't even want Dunk because he was a dragon he wanted the man for his genuine kindness. He felt shame knowing the man held back the truth thinking Aerion would take advantage of him.

Maekar got up and approached his son. "Son, I know you didn't find the dragon on your quest but I'm sure that the perfect omega is out there for you," Maekar patted Aerion on the shoulder.

Aerion nodded. Knowledge of Dunk's true nature was kept a secret and Aerion lied to his father and uncle about how he found no sign of a dragon in the land. He wanted nothing more than to run back to that cave and swoop Dunk up and claim him but his deceased mother would've cursed him to hell. The best thing he could do was keep Dunk a secret from his family.

"I think I found the perfect one and he didn't want me," Aerion confessed.

Maekar raised his eyebrows in confusion. "You found an omega you liked? What happened? Why didn't you bring him back here?"

Aerion smiled sadly. "He said he was below my station and wasn't worthy of me. I told him to find me here if he ever changed his mind."

Maekar was taken aback by Aerion's confession. His boy had returned home with an injured shoulder and a depressed attitude. Baelor and him chalked it up to his failed attempt to find a dragon but in reality his poor son was heartbroken over a lowborn omega he found. "Well maybe there's hope he'll visit-"

A guard burst in and interrupted Maekar. "My lords there's a situation at the gate! A dragon has perched itself at the entrance!"

"A what?!" Maekar paled.

Aerion jumped out of his seat and ran. Maekar and the guard followed him in alarm.

His legs started to burn but Aerion pushed himself to go faster. He had to see for himself that Dunk had come for him. Aerion skidded to a stop next to his uncle in the courtyard. Three kingsguard had drawn their swords and pointed them at the scarlet dragon that roared.

I knew he would be magnificent and he told me he was nothing special, Aerion thought in amusement. Dunk's dragon form was as majestic as his human form with red scales that resembled the Targaryen sigil and gold horns that glittered in the sun.

"Aerion get back into the castle now! We are dealing with an actual threat here!" Baelor commanded.

Daeron and Egg ran up to Baelor to see the dragon too. "Seven be good it really is a dragon," Daeron picked Egg up and held him close.

Egg squirmed against his brother. "Aerion I thought you didn't find a dragon! Why is it here!?" Egg cried out.

Aerion made eye contact with Dunk. Dunk ceased his roars and chirps and wagged his tail. Aerion walked up the the gates and watched the dragon crawl down to him. Dunk pushed his large snout against Aerion and nuzzled him. Aerion laughed and hugged Dunk's snout.

"I knew you'd come for me. I missed you," Aerion whispered and kissed the dragon on the nose.

Dunk transformed down to his human form with his wings out to cover them. "I'm sorry I walked away. I was scared," he whispered.

Aerion smiled. "All can be forgiven if you kiss me."

Dunk leaned down and kissed Aerion. It was messy thing that was all teeth at first but they melted against each other.

A throat was cleared behind them. The two separated and glanced at a flushed looking Baelor. Maekar, Daeron, and Egg's mouths hung open at the scene.

"Aerion did you want to introduce your… acquaintance to us. And perhaps offer him your cloak to cover himself?" Baelor coughed.

Aerion pulled off his cloak and Dunk withdrew his wings and let Aerion pull the garment over his shoulders.

"Dunk this is my uncle, Prince Baelor and my father, Prince Maekar. And the two fools behind them are my brothers, Daeron and Aegon. Family, this is Dunk who I intend to marry if he's willing to in due time," Aerion nervously glanced at Dunk.

"Nice to meet you all and I apologize for my entrance. I wanted to get Aerion's attention, not put anyone in danger. And I'd marry you.. if we can court for a little bit?" Dunk took Aerion's hand.

"This is the omega that rejected you! I thought it was a lowborn maiden!" Maekar shrieked.

"Well I didn't think it was polite to out Dunk as a dragon," Aerion huffed.

"Out of all the omegas in the land Aerion somehow found the one dragon to marry," Daeron joked.

"Can you fly? And can I ride on your back?" Egg asked.

"Ugh enough, you're all embarrassing me. You can bombard him with questions later when we're all settled," Aerion started to pull Dunk towards Summerhall.

"Aerion you get back here! You will not taint him before the marriage bed!" Maekar ran after his son and intended.

Baelor chuckled as he followed his brother. Only Aerion would manifest a dragon to marry.

Dunk grinned as he ran with Aerion. He hesitated on most things but he refused to deny himself this new adventure with Aerion.

They'd end up with five little dragons that loved to burn Maekar's favorite tapestries in the upcoming years but that's another story.

Fin~

Notes:

No Dunk didn't pop out any eggs to Aerion's disappointment and Daeron absolutely bribed the kids to burn those tapestries.
