Chapter Text
Fizz and Caution were simply taking a stroll through the Ignisgard streets. They were both off from work, so what better way to spend their time taking in the scenery, despite it always being ridiculously hot in the gard.
Fizz was downing a can of Bloxy cola without a care in the world, while Caution slumped forward, trudging through the bare and warm streets. It was weirdly empty in the area.
Caution was tired. He didn't want to go on a walk, but Fizz somehow convinced them. He missed the thrill of his everyday stunts. The adrenaline was too addicting for them to ignore. How one wrong move could be the end.
Caution was motivated by the thoughts, but he already knew Fizz would have a completely different reaction. Whenever he tried to do something remotely dangerous, Fizz would freak out, immediately breaking their calm and care-free demeanor. It doesn't matter how many times Caution tries to reassure them, it always seems to fly out the back window.
He silently wishes that Fizz wouldn't worry so much, he deeply cares about him. Fizz was his best friend afterall.
As Caution was deep in thought, Fizz tapped his shoulder gently.
"Hey, Caution, look up there." Fizz lazily pointed to a really tall, brick tower, connected to a large, dark and ashy structure. It was towering. Most certainly, Firewhiz' castle.
At the sight of the tower, Caution perked up instantly, an idea simmering in the back of his mind for a while now, came running back, as he adjusted his yellow, caution sign eye patch.
"I'll be RIGHT back!!" Caution yelled back at Fizz as they hastily dashed off into a seemingly random direction. Fizz stared at their best friend sprinting off with a puzzled expression before shrugging.
They simply plopped down on the ground, and cracked open his 5th bloxy cola for the day, tossing away their other empty can, not paying any mind to the can instantly being engulfed in flames, turning into ash. It was always really hot here due to Firewhiz being a fire Paragon.
After 5 minutes of waiting, Fizz had begun to worry. About Caution, of course. Did something happen? They won't be able to know for sure. They just have to wait.
Just about 1 minute later, Fizz could see a figure's silhouette in the distance. Seemingly riding a bicycle. It gradually got closer and closer to them. Fizz squinted their eyes at the sight of it, trying to decipher what it was. They must have stared too long, as Caution suddenly emerged on that same bicycle and did a stylish little spin before stopping next to Fizz.
Startled by the sudden movement, Fizz abruptly jumped back, falling over on their back in the process.
"What the hell, Caution??" Fizz exclaimed with a shaken, yet irritated expression on their face, looking back up at Caution, who was grinning slyly at them.
"What's the bike for?..." Fizz trailed off as Caution's grin widened. He nodded towards Firewhiz's tower. Fizz sighed heavily, putting their head in their hands, slowly getting up. Caution watched them intently before patting their back reassuringly.
"Trust me, Fizzy. Ya got nothin to worry about!"
"That doesn't help with the thought that you may DIE while doing this.."
"Pftt! Never gonna happen!"
With that, Caution sped off and raced towards the entrance of the grand castle, while Fizz groaned in frustration. Sometimes they question why they were friends with such a reckless caelestial like Caution.
