This chapter is such a no brainer bro…

I don’t think Flux likes board meetings that don’t involve manipulation tactics or other leaders yapping about assassination attempts guys…

/lol

Oh, yeah, kudos and comments are very much appreciated thank y'all!!!!!!

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Oh Ish. Why did he sign up for this???

Fluixon knew that something terrible was going to happen. After all, Storminghell had just gotten an attempt on his life and called in an emergency meeting with other leaders.Man, which dumbass would have tried such a thing?

Well, apparently, Davarit did and got himself killed. So now, Flux had to sit through a meeting in which no one truly wanted to be in.The only reason the Flux had to attend this ish-forsakened meeting was because Saparata, the leader of Theria, couldn’t attend due to ‘personal reasons’, whatever that meant.

If Flux was being completely honest, he was actually kind of worried about Saps. As the last time they talked, he seemed really zoned out and jittery. Let’s just hope he wasn’t doing something stupid.

The meeting room wasn’t exactly large, built of stone and obsidian. Much like Flux’s dads’ house, not that he ever called that place home. The room had large double doors made of oak, huh. Easily burnable. Interesting design choice. There was a single window in the room, above where the judge or host would sit, depending on the situation. In this case, that was where Storminghell sat.

Flux wasn’t going to lie, but Storminghell wasn’t one of the best people to be around. He acted like a tyrant, probably because he was one, but still. Saps was way better at handling this stuff. Why did Flux have to go???

Currently, Storminghell and a couple of other leaders were arguing about what to do with assassins, and what to do with them, as there were obviously more people working with Davarit. This was hella boring, especially since Flux had other things on his mind.

Oh ish. Now that he’s thinking about it, he still has the five foot tall tower of paperwork to look through.

ugh.

…

Well, might as well check the chat, right?

There’s really nothing else to be doing, especially since the other people attending the meeting were just yapping and yelling at each other over some damned killers. Nothing of interest, anyway.

[<Weedyyoz> uh, @XXKXNG, can you help me w/ this?]

[<Shredder98> gng help im lost]

[<XXKXN>: sure, what do we need for the thing?]

[<MoistPenguin911> tf u mean lost? Arent u on therian grounds??]

[<Shredder98> uh..yeah?]

[Saparata fell from a high place]

[<Weedyyoz> lots of sand and sugarcane]

[<QuinoaFalafel> CAN YOU GUYS SHUT UP??]

[<Shredder98> i mean…kind of? I dont know where i am tho]

[<XXKXNG> ughhh more farming?????]

[MoistPenguin911: @Shredder98 are you dumb???]

Oh, dang, Saps died of fall damage.

That’s unfortunate…

…

wait.

SAPS DIED OF FALL DAMAGE????? WHAT THE-????

The chat went dead silent for exactly one second, and then exploded.

Everything was in absolute chaos. People were screaming, questioning, and grieving the Therian leader, while some others were just absolutely stunned by how absurd the situation sounded.

[<Shredder98> wait wtf??? Saparata died???]

[<QuinoaFalafel> NOO WHATTT]

[<QuinoaFalafel> SAPPPPSS NOOOOOO]

[<MoistPenguin911> WTH??? THAT WAS SO RANDOM???]

Like, man, it was like, what, ten in the afternoon???

Holy Ish…what the hell is Flux going to do about this?? He’s the vice president of Theria!! And the president somehow died by ‘falling from a high place’.

The meeting room Fluixon sat in went completely still, as if processing the information they just received, and then erupted in total chaos.

People started outright accusing each other of murder, even when the death message CLEARLY said that he fell from a high place, not that he was doomed to fall by another person. Can people just not read anymore?

It seemed as if Fluixon was the only person who remained relatively composed throughout the entire situation. Or at least on the outside.

He was actually having the hell of a panic attack, involving questions like ‘ish, how tf am I supposed to just take over Theria???’ and ‘HOW THE HELL DID SAPS DIE FROM FALL DAMAGE???’

The situation admittedly seemed awfully absurd, like, come on, how often does a world leader die from falling?

…

wait…

unless…?

What if-?

nooo…..

He wouldn’t…..

Holy shit, did Saps kill himself???

Well, that would be the only probable conclusion, right?

Fell from a high place, assassination attempts, stress, etc…

Oh ish..

…Welp. . .

Despite himself, Flux completely ignores the chaos around him and walks out the door without a word. He needed to get back to Theria as soon as possible. For all he knew, Theria could be in flames by now.

…yeah let’s hope Saps didn't actually burn the place down before he died. That would just be more work for Flux.

Shit. He was so screwed.

Quickly, Flux manages his way through the Therian Tower and finds a crowd around…

Saparata.

oh man……

Saps……

he’s….……

he’s really gone, isn’t he…

Fluixon had already known what to expect, but seeing the situation in person was just….awful. The last time that Flux had seen Saparata, they were having a conversation on the economy. Not...not about whatever was going on right now. Flux forces his eyes away from the scene and gets to a point high enough for people to see him, then, he gathers his thoughts, and starts speaking.

“People of Theria! I would like to make an announcement regarding the recent tragedy regarding our former leader, Saparata…”

.                              END OF DAY SIX - 2.0                        .

‘The king is dead.’

It was the first day of the server reset. This meant many things, but to Fluixon, it mostly meant building a new empire and getting himself involved in politics. Again. Just like he did last time. This was easy, as there were already plenty of blossoming new empires on the new island. Many of which were quite large.

He had already talked to 3Belowzero, the president of a new country that 3Below had named Luminara. Flux had even somehow gotten himself appointed as the vice president using his set of cunning skills.

Everything was going exactly as planned. No one was dead, and the island was pretty.

This meant that he and his group of friends could take a break to go explore the island. It was nice and sunny outside, and the island was luscious, with every kind of tree imaginable as well as fields with thousands of flowers. Great for building.

The group makes their way around the island, with Snowbird and NewKids goofing off, talking about whatever people like them talk about. Flux knows that he should be relaxing. Just hanging out with his friends, but he just couldn’t stop thinking about the situation going on back in Luminara.

3Below had intended for a bridge to be built, going over to island one. Personally, Flux thought that this idea was idiotic, as his sister, Cynikka, was on island one. And earlier in the day, she had sent him a letter that had told him the conditions of the first island and how things were going.

Needless to say, the reports weren’t pretty. There was a huge shortage of food, so the people were starving. They were starving and they were angry. Angry that they had gotten the worse of the two islands. Angry of the fact that Pandora had everything the people could ever want while they were starving. They would invade island one. Flux was sure of it.

Luckily, Cynikka and some others had managed to settle in the heart of the volcano and founded an empire they had named ‘Infernus', and when regarding the conditions of the island, was actually quite impressive. She was nothing short of a perfect Aculon, upholding the family name as they should.

‘Death before dishonor’ The family mantra.

Somehow even that had made it back into Flux’s mind. It had always dictated how Fluxion acted. A part of him, even. He never truly understood why, though.

Although, the only question that really mattered at the end of the day was whether or not the members were truly willing to do such things just for the sake of their own dignity. Needless to say, Fluixon had been proved to have been worthy of the last name, using his skills to make his way up the ranks. He had everything under control. Complete, utter control.

“Hey, Flux? You good, man?”

Flux looks up to see Thomas looking at him, an eyebrow raised. Shoot. He must have realized how deep in thought Flux had been.

“...yeah? Why?”

Oh ish. His reaction was delayed. Heck, why was he even trying? This is his childhood friend. Of course he would know if Flux had something going on.

Thomas then just gives Fluixon a skeptical look, and a quick nod. He says nothing though. Thomas was never the pushy type, anyway, (thank ish). The rest of the group then agrees to go mining to pass the time, as there really wasn’t much else to do, anyway. Most people were just off building bases or gathering materials, so it was safe to say that there wasn’t much to worry about. It was time to relax.

Not to stress about things that didn’t matter.Snowbird seems to have found his cousin, and is running over to him to drag him along. Great. More people. The cousin that Snowbird had brought over had long ivory hair tied in a braid and dark black eyes with perfectly placed moles beneath each. It was Saparata. Flux would never admit it, but he did find Saps quite attractive. So basically, Fluixon fancied Saps. Simple as that.

Nobody knew this.

Well, nobody but his sister, Cynikka, and Thomas. Although, Thomas only knew because he basically knew everything about Flux, as they grew up together.

Snowbird then continues to talk to Saparata, inviting him to join them in the mines because why not, and he agrees, since ‘he didn’t have anything better to do,’ which was somewhat relatable. Then, the group starts heading on down

._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._.-._

After a while of yapping and complaining about stuff with Thomas and Gotoga, the group overhears Snowbird and Saparata bickering about…a cliff?

Huh…interesting…

Wait…no, it was Snowbird dragging Saps away from a cliff. Ah. That makes a lot more sense, knowing that Saparata had a tendency to jump off of things. Preferably tall towers. But other than that, he also liked a lot of other things as well, all of which Flux is familiar with and knows by heart. Quite literally.

Anyways, it was getting late, and the group started to make its way back to Luminara from the mines. The place was absolutely breathtaking at night, with soft glowing lanterns hanging from the cherry blossom trees, as well as fairy lights that hung from every street lamp down the sides of the main road. So as I’ve already stated, it was absolutely gorgeous. The place wasn’t just named ‘Luminara’ for no reason, after all.

It was the city of light. And luckily, the night market was open tonight. Yes, already. Yeah, sure, it may be the first night of the server reset or whatever, but people have already gotten a lot of stuff done.  (and totally not because the author asked google for ideas)

The group decides to hang around the night market, obviously, and head straight to the food stands.

“Woahhhhhh they already have so much food here !!!” Snowbird excalims, looking around while Saparata follows him, his long, white hair flowing with the wind. Fluixon just can’t help but stare.

Oh shit. He’s staring. Oh my ish, Flux. Get a grip.

Thomas then comes to Flux holding two skewers of food, and hands him one. Flux gladly takes it from him after muttering a quick ‘thank you’. This was also when Flux realized how hungry he really was– he hadn’t eaten anything since the start of the reset.

“Thought you’d like something to eat,” Thomas says, biting down on the grilled beef and Flux starts eating. Flux only responds with a nod, still chewing.

Man, what would he do without his best friend? The rest of the group found some tables in the food court area to settle in, and the normal banter of the group came back to normal.

Saparata was over hanging out with Seraphim,  talking about Jophiel. Gotoga and Snowbird on the other hand were arguing on if squid ink and blue-ringed octopus would be better as a snack or as a behavioral control agent. Again.

You really can’t seem to shake off past habits, huh.

This group is such a pain.

Notes:

Y'all I'm so sorry for not updating for so long, school has been an absolute pain in the ass, plus I've been working on this fic on and off, not knowing how to end the chapter.

This was actually supposed to be posted a couple days ago, but copy pasting it from Google drive through outlook messes everything up, so I had to reformat it.

It took much longer than nessesary to fix it.

I also learned that I am very bad at writing group dynamics that have more than three people...as well as serious writing. I can't write bro-

I'm also kind of losing motivation, sorry y'all....

Plus, writer's block is frying me

Oh gosh we're already losing the plot while there isn't even a plot yet....

Notes:

Holy cow that took way too long to write,
But gng, trust the process…or don’t idk.

//THIS LWK SUCKS T0T//

Also, feedback is valued, just don't criticize it too much please-

Also, there will be more chapters eventually, I swear-
I will update randomly so trust. I'm a flow writer.

This fanfic was posted on scratch with my consent, dw gng

Idk if it's just a glitch, but this is for the first chapter notes...so ignore this if u see it in chapter 2
