Chapter Text
3GS sat absently on his bed, watching as Bot and Mephone4 jumped all over eachother. However, his mind was distant. He couldn't stop thinking about how he had embarrassed himself earlier. How he knocked into Cabby, how she didn't care and was super kind about it. Maybe he really was making friends, maybe 4 was right, maybe the OSC really does like him. He even had that conversation with Bot! He hadn't noticed he'd been staring until Mephone4 brought him back to reality. "Uhh... 3GS? Everything alright?" He asked, concern lacing his voice, as the laughter in the room died out.
Mephone3GS suddenly snapped to his senses, noticing Mephone4 and Bot looking back at him with concern and confusion. "Uhh. Yes." Mephone3GS replied dryly, looking down as his face flushed from embarrassment. "Do you want to talk about it?" Mephone4 pressed. "It's nothing, really." 3GS answered. "I just, keep thinking about this person and kinda wanted to-"
Mephone4 jumped up, "Is it a crush!? Ooh who is it!!~" 3GS scowled at him, crossing his arms. "It's not a crush, and as I was saying. I kinda wanted to befriend her." "HER!?" Mephone4 chirped, before being pushed down by Bot, who perked up. "Who is it? They asked, pushing Mephone4 back into the bed as he pouted. "Her name is Cabby, I completely embarrassed myself Infront of her today, but she was so nice about it and she wanted to make sure I was okay.." "CABBY!?" 4 squealed from the bed, immediately being silenced by Bots death glare. "Cabby is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet! I'm sure she would love to be your friend!!" Bot encouraged. 3GS laid back, letting himself sink into his mattress. "I don't know.. the last time we even interacted I bumped into her for not looking where I was going!!"
The room went silent for a moment before 3GS could hear footsteps making their way closer to him. Just then, he was yanked off his bed upwards. "Hey-!!" He looked up at Mephone4 who was unimpressed. "You are the nicest guy I've ever met 3GS. Anyone would be lucky to call themself your friend!! So you need to stop doubting yourself and start hanging out with this girl!!" Mephone3GS pulled away from 4, crossing their arms, "Fine, but don't do that again!" They scowled before Bot spoke up. "Trust me, Cabby is so nice she would love to be your friend!!" 4 grabbed Mephone3GS's arm, with alot less force than last time do too their discomfort. "C'mon, we're going to talk to Cabby."
3GS pulled back again. "I'm not a child. In fact I'm older than you!! I don't need you to take me to her, I can go talk to her myself." They stormed out the room, before they changed their mind, walking down the corridors of the hotel.
Mephone4 grumbled as Mephone3GS pulled away and went to go find Cabby on his own. "I bet you he won't go talk to her." He crossed his arms as he sat back on his bed. Bot walked over to him, "I think he will. You heard him, he's his own person and he's just as capable as anyone here. How would you like it if I treated you like a child?" Bot sat next to him. "I'm not a child tho." He grumbled. "Exactly, neither is Mephone3GS. You just need to let him do his own things. I'm sure he's got this."
Mephone3GS strided down the halls, scouting for Cabby before being stopped by Suitcase. "Ah! Mephone3GS!!" " It's so good to see you!!" Mephone3GS chirped like usual. "You too. I just wanted to know how you're getting along here at the OSC?" Mephone3GS nodded. "Great, great!! Have you seen Cabby anywhere?" "Cabby? Uhh.. Yeah, I think she's just in her room. Do you want me to go grab her?" Suitcase asked, somewhat confused and concerned. "It's not like urgent or anything!! I just wanted to talk to her." Suitcase nodded. "Very well then, come along. I'll show you where her room is." Suitcase started walking down the hallway, 3GS following closely behind, before stopping infront of one of the doors. "This is her room. Need anything else?" Suitcase asked. "No I'm alright. Thank you so much!!" 3GS beamed, before turning to the wooden door and giving it three knocks.
