Chapter Text
Ratchet was utterly confused. After ensuring the mech had enough energon in his lines he decided to run some deeper scans on the mech and his spark. What he found had him stumped.
There were large amounts of carbon in his spark. More than the average spark should have. Perceptor would want to have a look at this.
Ratchet checked over the mech again, ensuring energon levels were adequate (63%) and that he was still in stasis before leaving for the labs, sending a ping for First Aid to keep an eye on the him and to comm him if anything changed.

Something had changed.
Orange roof, bright lights, warmth. Same uncomfortable medical bed though. So he was in a different part of the lab. A slight haze on the edge of his mind informed him of a sedative wearing off.
He tried to move and…his arm lifted up! Finally! Wait….That wasn’t his arm.
That was not his arm.
That
Was
Not
His
Arm
He immediately dropped his not arm arm as soft noises reached his ears from another room. Closing his eyes and stilling his body, he prepared for the worst.
He couldn’t remember much in detail but he knew that he was no longer home, no longer safe, and another presence never boded well for him.
The noises shuffled closer and something touched him gently. On his arm, on his shoulder, and on his head. He forced himself to not react, not let them know he was awake. After a bit more time the noises and touches left whatever lab room he was in.
Looking down at himself he could only see silver and purple metal, he shivered, trying not to think of the yellow light that would loom over him during his brief lapses of consciousness.
He could move now though, he could escape. Get out and get home.

::Um…Ratchet?::
Ratchet put down the datapad he and Percepter were putting together on the scans he took of the mech, it felt like they were close to something now that they could properly organise the data.
::What is it kid?::
::I only looked away for a second to organise the mesh bandages, and uh…::
::What happened::
::The mech is gone::
Percepter absolutely did not yelp as a wrench hit the wall with a deafening clang.
