Chapter Text
Kirishima groaned as he looked up at the ceiling in defeat. He dropped the sheafs of paper in his hands and let them flutter to the floor he sat on. His face felt hot and his throat felt stiff. He looked to Mina, next to him, who seemed just as dismayed as he did. “Uggghh,” she groaned, “these notes are terrible! Why'd we ask Kaminari of all people?”
Kirishima rubbed the back of his neck. “I dunno! He offered so I guess I just took him up on it.”
Since their last study session, Ashido had spread her sickness to Kirishima, just like he predicted. In order to not miss out on the class’s current lessons, they needed to borrow notes from their classmates. Eijirou sneezed and rubbed the back of his hand against his forehead as he breathed in the air of the stuffy dorm room. “This sucks,” he muttered.
“Well, sorry! ” Mina said disgruntledly as she crossed her arms.
“N-no, I wasn't blaming you for anythi--”
Kirishima was cut off by a loud knocking at Mina’s door. Mina stumbled up and trudged over to answer it. Opening it revealed Jirou on the other side, wearing a medical mask. Ashido leaned against the doorway. “What’s up?” she asked with tired eyes.
Jirou leaned back a little, not eager to get sick. “Kaminari told me he gave you his notes. Sorry about that, take mine,” she said as she handed Mina a packet of papers, “I, uh, told him that he should try a little harder in class and take some notes for once, but I guess he gave up, the idiot.”
Kyouka leaned a little to her right to take a look behind Mina, spotting Eijirou in the back. She smirked behind her mask, a tad flustered. “Enjoy your… studying.”
She turned around and fast-walked down the hallway.
“Thanks…” Mina said as Jirou left.
Closing the door, she returned to Kirishima and plopped down right beside him. “Our prayers have been answered!” she announced.
“Sweet,” Eijirou said tiredly.
They skimmed over the notes, getting a general feel for what the lessons contained. “This…” Kirishima started, “is a lot.”
“Yeah,” Mina mumbled.
She slid over to Eijirou and got close to him as she nestled her head in the crook of his neck. He felt her warm skin against his, and studying was the last thing he wanted to do at the moment. A few seconds of silence passed. “We're not gonna get any work done, are we?” he asked her.
Mina looked up at him with her obsidian eyes. “Nope,” she said cheerily.
“Fine by me,” he said softly as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder and leaned his head against hers.
