Summary
Izuku Midoriya's life changed on that night twelve years ago when his father gave his own life to save his family and defeat the ultimate evil. Izuku found himself growing up fatherless and quirkless, until one fateful birthday when a chance encounter with All Might opened a new world of possibilities to the boy. Now, he stands at the cusp of a new chapter of his life, empowered as the ninth holder of One For All. Is Izuku ready to take his first steps onto the stage? What new friends and enemies await him?
The year is 2259.
This is the second part of a series. The events of this story will make much more sense if you read My Hero Academia: Ultra Ascendance - Prelude first to understand how this diverges from canon. Chapter 98 is brilliant.
The first living being born with a quirk wasn't human, and yet that being was there when the first human with a quirk was born.
And Overhaul's ridiculous 'rats spreading disease' hypothesis for the existence of quirks being technically correct is great too.

Summary
Quirks are really cool. There's so many different ones and there are so many opportunities to create new quirks. So I spent a very long time just creating quirk ideas off the top of my head. The original quirks are of my own design with some influences that will be credited. These are all free use, so if you want to use one of these quirks, that's fine by me :D
Inspiration from NotMasonPines and their work, Quirk: Catalogue. Activation requirements and Effects are heavily inspired by him.
Each chapter is its own quirk. While it makes for shorter chapters, it makes up for with a cleaner presentation.

Summary
Being told by his idol that he can be a hero was the greatest thing that had ever happened in Midoriya Izuku’s life. In fact, it was so incredible and amazing that it compelled him to do something that he had been taught from an early age to NEVER do. He asked his teacher a question.
Or: Izuku decides to ask Toshinori to teach him how to use One For All while he’s cleaning up the beach. This prompts Toshinori to realize that he actually can’t really do that. So he reluctantly calls Gran Torino and gets him to help train and supervise Izuku’s ten month American Dream Plan for entering UA.

Summary
Pro Hero Deku is not that tall of a man… In a simple white t-shirt and khakis, he’s not imposing at all. His 14 year old son, though much scrawnier in frame, is only an inch or two shorter than him.
Pro Hero Deku is not a cruel man. To the contrary, he cares too much, about all things at all times, about everyone and everything he can save if only it could come within his reach. The family counselor knows this. The counselor is surprised that, of all the world’s burdens Deku carries, it would be his family that slipped through his grasp.
Pro Hero Deku’s arms are gnarled and scarred, endlessly broken and re-broken in his youth from trying too much, and caring too much, and fighting too much for the sake of others. So why do they seem so awkward, so unpracticed, so unused to being wrapped in a hug around his son? Why was this boy the last thing for Pro Hero Deku’s arms to reach?
The counselor asks. The raw hurt of the session starts anew.
