Chapter Text
Alnea was created a long time ago, before this war had ever started. She had been created as an early quintessance experiment by Honerva, and abandoned not long after. She couldn't remember what her original name was, or where she came from, only knowing that it wasn't what she knew, all implanted lies.
She had been wandering hopelessly when she had found him originally, the purple skinned boy that she had soon grown so fond of, he had taken one look at her and moved back, threatening her. "Stop right there. If you move any closer I'll, I'll call my father on you." Alnea could only cock her head to the side in response, before stepping back instead. She had left without another word, leaving him to what he had been doing before her intrusion.
The second time, he had stumbled upon her, his eyes widening in shock as he'd seen the metalic fleshed girl sitting clearly by the wall. "Are you one of Haggar's experiments?" He'd asked. She'd nodded shallowly in response, turning her head to look further down the corridor. "Do you have a name?" She nodded again. "What is it?" Alnea didn't speak, didn't move, he left soon after.
The third time, the third time, he had been sitting by the wall alone, and it had peaked Alnea's interest. She had squated down next to the boy, tapping him on the shoulder, he'd yipped in surprise and turned to her, and she suspected he had thought it was someone else. "Oh it's just you again." She nodded, before lowering herself onto the floor. "You dont seem dangerous like Haggar's other experiments." He'd said, his eyes moving back to the wall opposite him. "Haggar said you where probably trying to trick me, but you had the oportunity to, so I dont believe it." Alnea continued to look at the boy as he continued to stare at the wall. "You seem like your alone most of the time, I thoguht you might be lonely, like me." He said, hiking his legs up to his chest. "How long have you been alone." Alnea didn't move, trying to think of a time when she hadn't been alone.
"A long, long time." She'd ended up saying, surprising herself, as she reached to cover up where her mask would fall beneath her mask. The boy had looked at her with such bright joyous eyes.
"You can speak." He said, with so much glee, hope filled his eyes, and in those moments, the old cyborg remembered what joy felt like. "Im prince Lotor." He'd said, holding out his hand, "What's your name?" She'd had to think carefully then, she couldn't remember what it was, so on the spot she'd thought of something, something she'd remember.
"Alnea."
