Special Containment Procedures: SCP-192 is typically kept within a Standard Secure Humanoid Containment Cell in Sector-02 of Site-43, with reinforcement both under the cell and on the walls of the cell that is to be replaced immediately whenever damaged in any way. It has been authorized to decorate the cell slightly to resemble a regular room rather than a containment cell, since it has shown to calm SCP-192 down more. It is to be kept isolated at all times, only to interact with Class-D personnel and occasionally Dr. J ████ J ████ when needed or when otherwise taken out of its Containment Cell for interviews or other experiments.
When in the presence of SCP-192, Staff are required to speak in a gentle tone of voice and to not make any sudden or unanticipated moves, since this can trigger a negative emotional response from the SCP and by extension trigger its anomaly. When transported anywhere, it is to be given sedatives and not allowed to be in a fully conscious state until it has arrived to its destination. On top of that, it is to be accompanied by no less than 2 unarmed Level 3 Clearance staff, and there are to be more on-call in case SCP-192’s anomaly is triggered for any reason.
Temporary Containment Procedure Update: (See Addendum 192.2) Staff who have not taken an evaluation to estimate their stress tolerance levels will not be allowed within the vicinity of SCP-192. Staff are not, under any circumstances, allowed to even allude to SCP-192 bothering them in any way, even when not in its presence. No matter how much Dr. J ████ states he trusts a non-D-Class staff member with this SCP, they are not allowed to handle it unless a high-risk emergency occurs. J ███ I ███ is no longer allowed within a 10 meter vicinity of SCP-192.
Description: SCP-192 is a humanoid adult male, standing roughly at about 1.75 meters in height and being notably somewhat underweight. It has red hair with turquoise highlights that seem to have appeared naturally as it grew older as well. SCP-192 is very anxiety prone, tending to apologize for everything and have frequent bursts of depression and low moods of that sort.
SCP-192 has the ability to cry acid. It is seemingly immune to this acid itself, but nothing else has been proven to be resistant to it so far, and it has not been identified as any other acid currently known to humanity. If SCP-192 cries, those in a vicinity of about 6-7 meters also begin to cry invariably. They cry the same type of acid, though they have not been given the added benefit of immunity to it.
SCP-192 is hyper-cooperative with staff, though despite this, sometimes it cannot help its bad moods and it will lash out or otherwise cry in their presence, killing them unmeaningly. It has expressed deep remorse and regret for those actions, describing them as things that affect him greatly on a psychological level. It is currently being taught methods to deal with its anxieties and other emotions by Dr. J ████, and it seems to be working, to an extent.
Addendum 192.1: Discovery
SCP-192 was reported as an anomaly approximately 10 minutes after its birth in █████ , and within 1-2 hours it was put in foundation custody. All of those present who were not deceased were administered amnestics. Due to its repeated killing of staff but an inability to sedate it, it took around 1-2 weeks to finally get it to Site-43, where it has been contained for the last ██ years.
Addendum 192.2: 11/22/ █ Incident
SCP-192 became aggravated when it had to be handled by Field Agent J ███ I ███ . After I ███ alluded under his breath as to “How much of a pain this [was] going to be”- in his own words- SCP-192 became aggravated, both beginning to cry in its usual fashion and lunging forward to attempt to strangle him. The attempt was unsuccessful, and I ███ got away, but was left with irreversible damage to some of the external areas of his eyes and corneas. He was later treated by some of the foundation medical staff, and his eyesight was left mostly intact. Containment Procedures were revised afterwards.
