Chapter Text
When Ojiro woke up he realized a few things. One he was underwater and somehow not dead and two…
“What? What happened to my legs?!” Ojiro exclaimed. He no longer had legs, since he had a mermaid kind of tail that looked his regular tail. “And where am I? And how am I still alive?”
“Hey are you alright, Ojiro?” Ojiro turned and saw a fish standing next to him. It was a tan-colored fish with red stripes.
“I should be,” Ojiro responded. “Wait…Koda is that you?”
“Yeah, it’s me,” Koda said.
“And you’re a fish?” Ojiro questioned. Koda the fish nodded. “Any idea where we are?” Koda shook his head. “Yeah didn’t think so.” Ojiro then saw a shadow pass over the water. “Wonder what that is?” He swam up to the surface of the water and saw a large boat nearby with fireworks shooting off it.
“Ariel!” Ojiro turned to see that a small red hermit crab and Koda were right next to him.
“What are you doing!?” the crab exclaimed.
“Well, this totally isn’t weird,” Ojiro muttered. “First breathing underwater, then the tail, and the talking crab. I think I’m losing it.” Ojiro looked back at the boat. “Maybe there are some answers there.” Ojiro swam towards it.
“Ariel!” the crab called but Ojiro didn’t listen. “Come back!”
“Ojiro! Wait up!” Koda exclaimed. Ojiro stopped and swam back. He grabbed Koda with one arm and continued to swim towards his destination. Ojiro was now right next to the boat. He lifted himself up, with Koda still in his arms, so he could see through the break between the wooden rail and the deck.

When Hagakure woke up she immediately realized she was on a boat and in sailor’s attire.
“Am I wearing GUY clothes?!” Hagakure exclaimed. “Wait where AM I?” She got up, opened the door, and walked out on the deck. She saw a bunch of sailors playing instruments and dancing, and they were all guys. Then she noticed a large dog. “Aww! He’s so cute!” She noticed he was smelling the ground and heading towards a gap between the deck and the rail. Hagakure followed the dog and saw him licking a boy with blonde hair.
“Ojiro, is that you?” Hagakure asked as she sat down on the floor.
“Oh, hey Hagakure,” Ojiro responded.
“Hi,” the tan-colored fish said.
“Koda is that you?” Hagakure questioned. The fish nodded.
“Nice to know it’s not just me and Koda who’s stuck here,” Ojiro said. “I’m guessing you don’t know where we are either.” Hagakure nodded.
“Yeah, I woke up and found myself on this boat,” Hagakure told them. “And…wait.” Hagakure finally noticed Ojiro’s tail. “What happened to your tail?”
“Oh, I have no idea, to be honest,” Ojiro responded. “I just woke up with it. You think a quirk caused this?”
“But what kind of quirk can turn me into a fish, turn you into a merman, and teleport all of us here?” Koda asked.
“Maybe a group of people caused this?” Hagakure questioned.
“Prince Eric!!” a man called. Hagakure and Ojiro turned to see an elderly looking gentleman with white hair. Ojiro immediately sat down on a perch nearby as the man approached Hagakure. “Who were you talking to?”
“Oh just to the dog here,” Hagakure responded. She started petting the dog and rubbing his back. “Who’s a good boy? You are. You are.” The dog licked her face causing her to giggle. The man cleared his throat.
“Well, I think now is as good of a time as any,” the man said before turning to the rest of the sailors. “Silence. Silence.” They stopped playing and were quiet. “Now. It is with great honor that I present to you, Prince Eric’s birthday present.” He gestured towards the large thing in the middle of the ship which was covered by a tarp of some sort. A sailor removed tarp revealing a stone statue of a handsome young man standing on a treasure chest with one foot on a circular object with an E on it.
“This must be the actual Prince Eric,” Hagakure muttered. “He sure is handsome.” The dog growled at the statue. Hagakure rubbed the dog’s belly which caused him to stop growling. “Oh, it’s okay, buddy. That statue’s not going to hurt you.” She turned to the elderly man.
“It’s a nice statue,” Hagakure told him.
“Yes, it is,” he responded. “I commissioned it myself. Though I had hoped it would be a WEDDING present.”
‘Um, what am I supposed to say to that?’ Hagakure thought.
“And it’s not just me who thinks this way,” the man said. “Everyone else in the kingdom would love to see you settled down.”
“Well…I guess I just haven’t found the right person yet,” Hagakure responded. Then they heard thunder and the waves started getting more violent.
“Hurricane!” one of sailor exclaimed. “Stand fast! Secure the rigger!” The crew moved quickly and went over to grab the ropes to keep the boat steady. Hagakure joined in and tried to help as best she could.
‘I guess Aizawa’s physical training paid off,’ Hagakure thought.
-----
Once the waves started getting tense Ojiro, with Koda still under his arm, jumped into the water. Ojiro let go of Koda once they were inside the water. Ojiro stayed as close to the boat as he could but unfortunately, Koda got lost in waves. Ojiro noticed a boat nearby where several people were loading onto.
“Wait, where’s Hagakure!?!” Ojiro exclaimed. She wasn’t on the small boat. Ojiro watched she threw the dog off the larger and now burning, ship.
“Eric!” the old man called. Then the boat exploded. Ojiro quickly swam around in a panic looking for Hagakure. Then he saw her leaning over a piece of driftwood before falling into the water. Ojiro swam under, grabbed Hagakure underneath her shoulders, and pulled her up to the surface of the water. He then swam her in the direction of land.
The sun started to break when Ojiro finally got Hagakure to the shore. Hagakure then started hacking up water.
“You okay?” Ojiro asked.
“Mostly yeah,” Hagakure responded as she sat up. “Thank you.”
“Of course,” Ojiro said. “What are…” Then they heard barking and saw the dog from before running to them. “I should go.”
“Ojiro wait!” Hagakure exclaimed. But Ojiro didn’t hear her. He had already gone under the water and disappeared.
