After 18 years
Jimin comes in Soobin's room. He smiles seeing his son lying on his bed like a starfish with his mouth open and the blanket on the ground.
He picks up the blanket and gently pats the 19 year old's back.
"Bennie.... Wake up baby... You're gonna be late for college." Jimin says sweetly.
"Mmmmmmmm....." Soobin grumbles.
"Come on baby. Papa has work too... I have a very important meeting today. Get up sweetheart." Jimin pleads.
"I love sleeping." Soobin mumbles.
"We all do." Jimin says in his fatherly voice. "Come down in twenty minutes, breakfast would be ready then or I'll send Tae to wake you up!" Jimin says and leaves.
Soobin immediately wakes up. Oh no! No uncle Tae! Uncle Tae doesn't wake you up like papa. He wakes you up with cold water on your face. Seriously, that omega has no patience what so ever. Soobin thinks.
He gets ready and comes downstairs. He sees his papa and Uncle talking.
"Hey sleepy head." Taehyung says with a smile.
"Hey uncle. Not painting at odd hours today?" Soobin says with a smirk.
Taehyung was now a well known painter. The best actually. All his exhibitions sold out within minutes.
"Na.... I'm on a break." Taehyung says taking Soobin's toast from his plate.
"Hey! That's mine!" Soobin says with a pout.
Taehyung on the other hand shows him his tongue playfully and goes upstairs.
"Seriously, I live with two kids!" Jimin says shaking his head, taking a sip of his coffee.
"Beenie." Jimin says.
"Huh?" Soobin looks up from his phone.
"Your dinner is with Yoongi and Hoseok today. Okay?" Jimin says.
"Why?" Soobin asks, confused.
"I am busy and Taehyung is taking your grandpa to the doctor. It might take some time there." Jimin says sadly.
"That bad?" Soobin asks. He really loved his grandpa and seeing him suffer like that broke his heart.
"Yes." Jimin says in a dejected voice.

Taehyung goes to his father. He opens the door and smiles at Jin. Jin looks up at his son and smiles.
"Here, papa...... Breakfast." Taehyung says sweetly.
"You know.... You know.... You look like my son Taehyung." Jin says in an excited voice.
Taehyung's face falls. His father had completely broken down after their Appa went away. Nobody was there for him and he just plunged more and more into darkness. Now he just had memories! Memories of a beautiful past to get away from the painful present.
"Do I?" Taehyung asks with a smile.
"Yes.... Yes! He is so talented and small. He is just three but he and Jimin just run around the house. I ask them to stop so many times. What if.....what if they fall?" Jin asks in a concerned voice.
Their conversation was always like this... Sometimes Jimin and Tae were five... Sometimes they were eighteen. Jin just had no sense of reality left.
" They won't fall. Don't worry." Taehyung says."Here... Eat this and then you need to take the medicine." Taehyung hands him the plate gently and sits beside his father with water in his hand.
Jin smiles. "They are good kids." he says. "I wish I could protect them always."
Taehyung just looks at his Papa with sadness on his face.

Soobin reaches his college. It was a co ed college. He sees Beomgyu and Yeonjun and immediately runs to them.
"How are you all doing?" Soobin asks.
"Amazing!" Yeonjun says. "Your dinner is with us tonight. Then we can play games all night!"
"Yeah... Papa told me! How are the pups?" Soobin asks playfully.
"They are just two years younger!" Beomgyu defends his brothers.
Taehyun and Kai were in high school. Taehyun was an alpha and Kai was an omega.
"They miss you though." Yeonjun says.
"Awww.... My babies." Soobin says dramatically.
"For God's sake... They are not that young." Beomgyu says playfully.
They all reach the class and an omega professor comes.
"Good evening class." She says with a smile. "Today we are going to start the chapter on omega revolutions. The major one being the revolution of Kim Taehyung , the slogan of which was 'Long live the Revolution.'"
Immediately Soobin interrupts her "I'm pretty sure he hated that phrase."
Hearing this Beomgyu chuckles and says "I agree."
The teacher looks confused. But both the omegas just share a fond look between each other. This was the revolution that changed everything. They were able to sit in this classroom because of Kim Taehyung.
And it went without saying that for both of them Kim Taehyung was their hero!

Jimin and Yoongi are sitting in Jimin's office.
"How's Hobi? Four teenagers keeping you both busy?" Jimin asks and then laughs. He couldn't control one! It was a wonder to him how the Min couple controlled four.
"Oh Jimin.. Don't ask..... It's a zoo!" Yoongi says. "Hoseok is a pro though. The way he handles them! And those traitors only listen to him. 'Papa is the best!'" Yoongi says making a squeaky voice, trying to copy his kids.
Jimin laughs. "Hoseok is good. He's doing so well professionally too! 100 surgeries, right? Congratulations! When's the party?"
"No idea! Just come with a cake someday. That's the only way we can party." Yoongi smiles and says.
His face then turns a bit serious. "Jimin" he says. "We received two requests today."
"Okay" Jimin says absent-mindedly while going through a file.
"It was from Jeon Jungkook and Kim Namjoon." Yoongi says and Jimin pales. He stops dead in his tracks and looks at Yoongi.
"What do they what?" he asks hesitantly.

Soobin has so much fun at the Mins. The five kids play video games the entire night and only stop after Hoseok and Yoongi reprimand them and ask them to sleep.
Soobin meets his father for Lunch and Taehyung is there too.
"This is a rare sight." Soobin jokes. "Why are the lions out of their den?" He asks playfully.
"Who teaches him these dumb analogies?" Taehyung says raising his eyebrows.
Jimin also gives his son a questioning look. Okay! His son was weird.
"What's up Minnie? You called both of us here." Taehyung asks.
Jimin takes a deep breath and says seriously. "I got two request letters yesterday..... One from Kim Namjoon and other from Jeon Jungkook."
Both Taehyung and Soobin now become serious and keep their eyes focused on Jimin. Jimin continues "Jungkook wants to meet you Soobin and Appa wants to meet us and Papa. They are asking for permission since they're recently released from prison and we are kinda important people so they need permission first."
Taehyung and Soobin look at each other.
"It's all your decision Soobin. I won't pressure you into anything. Whatever you are comfortable with." Jimin says encouragingly.
His son was his own person and he would do what he wants to do!
Soobin keeps looking at the ground as if deep in thought. He then finally lifts up his head and says softly." I want to meet Appa."
Jimin smiles. That was fair. Jungkook was his father and Soobin missed his Appa sometimes.
"I would like to meet Appa too and we can take papa along too." Jimin says excitedly looking at Taehyung.
"I don't want to meet him." Taehyung says. His voice is sad and he has tears in his eyes. "I am trying to forget and it's still so difficult. But..... But I can't meet him..... Not yet." He says.
Jimin nods in understanding. Taehyung had suffered the most and even though wounds heal, scars remain.

The next day Jimin takes Jin to meet Namjoon and Soobin leaves to meet Jungkook.
While Taehyung stands on the top of the balcony with the coffee mug in his hand looking at the world below.
"Long live the omega power." he says to himself and closes his eyes in satisfaction.
