Chapter Text
Yashiro woke up to a smell...a really good smell. No like you don’t get it. It was a really good smell. That’s not right, none of the boys can cook except for Kou but he’s not an early riser...and Aoi always texts or calls before she comes over. She slowly sat up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. Walking up to the mirror, Yashiro looked at her oversized NASA hoodie, she may or may not have stolen from Amane.
“Mmh I wonder who it is…” Yashiro yawned, opening her bedroom door. Instantly a wave of air hit her face, causing her to practically drool. Yashiro eagerly headed to the kitchen, her stomach thinking for her.
“We have to save some though…”
Yashiro blinked at the voices. Who was it? As she turned the corner she was met with the back of a black jacket and familiar messy dark hair
“Aman-” Yashiro stopped immediately when the boy turned around. “Oh my god...Tsukasa?!”
“Nene-nee!!”
Yashiro laughed as she watched the boy she hadn’t seen in a year dash over to her, throwing his arms around her small figure. She giggled as Tsukasa spun her around a bunch before setting her down and nuzzling his cheek with hers.
“Nene, Nene, Nene!”
“Tsukasa-kun!”
The two giggled as they hugged one another, both rosy cheeked and excited. When they finally parted, Yashiro reached up and grabbed Tsukasa’s cheeks. “Tsukasa-kun how are you already taller than me?!” Yashiro laughed, watching as the boy in question grinned, his fangs popping out.
“I grew!”
“You sure did!” Yashiro giggled, pulling the boy into another tight embrace. The Yugi twins had always been clingy with her. Tsukasa was hesitant at first, but after claiming that ‘Nene was going to be his big sister soon’ deal, Yashiro began carrying around the weight of both twins. Not only did she find them incredibly sweet at times, but she became attached to them as well.
“Second batch, ready!”
Yashiro turned and peered at the new voice coming from the kitchen. She watched as Mei put down a plate of stacked pancakes.
“Mei-chan!” Yashiro gasped, squirming out of Tsukasa grip and running over to the green-haired girl. They both gave each other a little squeeze before pulling apart and laughing.
“Here, eat up,” Mei sighed, leaning against the counter and gesturing to the plate of pancakes. Yashiro happily agreed, taking a seat next to Tsukasa who was already digging into his third serving. Taking a bite, Yashiro happily sighed.
“I forgot how amazing your pancakes are~” Yashiro moaned, raising her fork to take another bite. “So what made you guys wanna visit?” She asked, mouth full of food.
“We’re on a secret mission~!” Tsukasa said, chest puffed out proudly. Yashiro tilted her head, looking over at Mei for any alboration.
“What he means,” Mei said, glaring at the shrugging boy. “Is that we wanted to come support everyone on the team.”
“I thought we came to help Nene and Aman-”
“HERE HAVE ANOTHER BITE!” Mei cut in, shoving a fork full of pancakes in Tsukasa’s mouth. Yashiro blinked.
“Okay then…”
The three all sat in silence, savoring every bite of the godly pancakes they could get. Suddenly, a thought struck Yashiro.
“Hey how’d you guys get in? I mean I don’t think you guys have any keys?”
“Oh,” Tsukasa said, not looking up from his plate. “I picked the lock.” Mei nodded in agreement, also not turning away from hers.
“...”
“I-I see…”

Yashrio was still in a daze about what happened earlier today. But, now wasn’t the time to think about that. Right now, Yashirowas on a very special mission according to Tsukasa. She was supposed to, his words not hers, kidnap Amane .
Yashiro didn’t really understand how that was supposed to work because he’s not only taller, but way more physically stronger than she is, not to mention weighs a ton, but she didn’t want to ruin the younger one’s fun so she decided that just easily dragging him over would be the best solution.
As Yashiro walked on the field, she could see the boys soccer team doing laps around the track field. They were doing conditioning... she might actually have to carry Amane.
Yashiro awkwardly walked over to the field, tugging the sleeve of her...his white, NASA sweatshirt and making impressive eye contact with the ground. She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Kazuki writing something down on a clipboard instead of running.
Walking over to him, Yashiro tugged on the back of his shirt, causing the boy to turn around.
“Yashiro-san?” Kazuki asked, slightly taken aback at the fact that the girl was outside in this weather. Yashiro started fidgeting with her fingers, a small blush forming on her cheeks.
“U-um, I know that your big game is coming soon and you need to practice...but can I maybe borrow Amane for only a little bit?” Yashiro asked, eyes still glued to the turf.
Kazuki looked at the embarrassed girl and couldn’t help the smile that formed on his lips. Normally, he wouldn’t let anyone skip practice...but he had a strong feeling about this. “Yeah, sure. I’ll grab him.”
Yashiro immediately thanked him, bowing slightly as she waited for Amane to come. Eventually, she felt arms wrapping themselves around her shoulders and a head rested itself on hers.
“Yashiro~! You saved me!” Amane gasped, sweat dripping from his forehead as he turned to face the girl. “Tsukki made us run laps and then run the bleachers and then-”
“-okay, okay, I get it.” Yashiro slightly laughed, putting her hand on the boy's mouth to shut him up. She then smiled, tilting her head sideways. “I saved you.”
Amane gently wrapped his hand around hers, bringing it in between them. He then moved closer, a slight blush on his face. Yashiro’s lips parted slightly as she subconsciously moved closer to the point where she could feel Amane’s hot breath on her nose.
“Yeah, you did,” Amane whispered, eyes glued to Yashiro’s. The two stood there for what seemed like forever before Yashiro suddenly burst into flames, pushing Amane away in the process.
“ Theresasurpriseforyousowegottag o,” Yashiro quickly rushed, grabbing a very fazed Amane’s wrist as she practically sprinted away, dragging Amane along with her until they reached the comfort of the school dorms. Yashiro slammed the elevator button, shoving Amane inside and taking a deep breath once the doors closed.
“Y-Yashiro,” Amane gasped, hands on his knees. “W-what the hell?”
Yashiro waved the boy off, tugging on the strings of the white sweatshirt. “L-like I said,” she huffed, leaning against the railing. “It’s a surprise. It happened to me this morning, and it’s happening to you now.”
Amane didn’t have a chance to question anything because he was suddenly grabbed and pulled out the elevator.
“Yashiro? What are we doing on my floor?” Amane then squinted his eyes and then gasped dramatically. “Is that my hoodie? My NASA hoodie ?!”
Yashiro shushed Amane and knocked on his door three times before reaching for the handle.
“Why would you need to kno-”
“-oh my god, do you ever shut up?!”
“Geez someone’s PMSing…”
“What’d you say?”
“Nothing!”
Yashiro scrunched her nose up at Amane, causing him to chuckle. She then opened the door revealing a pitch black room. Yashiro and Amane both subconsciously interlaced their fingers together, pulling each other closer.
“So um,” Amane whispered, now shoulder to shoulder with the blonde. “What exactly is the surprise...and should I be scared?”
“Well-”
“-AMANE!!!”
Yashiro felt Amane’s hand rip itself from hers as she watched a blur of black tackled him to the ground, wincing slightly at the loud bang of Amane probably hitting his head. He slowly sat up, rubbing the back of his messy, untamed hair wincing in the process. Opening his eyes, Amane yelped when he saw his mirror image in front of him.
“T-Tsukasa…?” Amane whispered, disbelief painted all over his features. Tsukasa giggled, much like when they were kids, as he wrapped Amane up in a bear hug making Amane fall over in the process. He didn’t mind.
“Tsukasa! What the hell are you doing here?!” Amane laughed, tears forming in his eyes as he hugged his brother closer.
“I’m on a secret mission!”
“Huh?”
Yashiro smiled and walked over to Mei who was sitting on Amane’s bed, drawing. She hummed a little hello as Yashiro slumped next to her, already taking Amane’s pillow in her arms and hugging it as she always.
“It’s cute right?” Yashiro whispered, as she watched Amane practically sob and Tsukasa laugh as they hugged each other. Mei smiled a little as she looked up from her drawing.
“I mean, at least he won’t be climbing all over me now.”
Yashiro looked over at Amane only to have him staring right back at her, “Yashiro, did you know about this?”
The girl in question started fiddling with her pointer fingers, beginning to swing her legs that were hanging off the bed. “Kinda? They surprised me too.”
“Yeah, yeah! We made pancakes for Nene-chan!” Tsukasa beamed, arms still looped around Amane’s neck.
“I made pancakes,” Mei cut in, not bothering to look up at the twins. Amane flinched slightly at the sight of the green hair girl.
“S-shijima-san…” Amane smiled awkwardly, “I didn’t...see you there.”
“No one ever does,” the girl with braids smiled, glancing up at the boy in a blue jersey before looking back down at her drawing. “It’s my superpower.”
“Whatcha drawing this time!” Tsukasa gasped, running over and flopping onto the bed. “Lemme see! Lemme see! Please!”
Mei held her sketchbook out of the boys reach as Tsukasa waved his arms in front of the girls face, whining as she used her free hand to push his away.
“Mei~!”
Yashiro giggled at their action, placing the pillow down on the bed before getting up. She walked towards the door frame, shoving her hands in the pockets of the hoodie.
“Hey Amane, I think I’m gonna go home,” Yashiro said, yawing slightly. Amane turned his full attention towards the girl, smiling softly as she rubbed her eyes. “I still have a geo exam to study for.”
“Yeah you should get some rest,” Amane said, gently moving the girl’s hair out of the way as he pulled his hood over her head. “You look tired, and I know you’re not a morning person.”
“Yeah,” Yashiro whispered as she pulled her hands into the sleeves. “Bye bye.”
Amane smiled, pinching her cheek before letting Yashiro walk out of the door and down the hall. He turned back to his bed to see Tsukasa and Mei looking at him with smug looks.
…
“What?”
.
.
.
As Yashiro walked down the hallway she bumped shoulders with somebody, causing both of them to slightly stumble.
“Ah! I’m sorry!” Yashiro stammered, waving her hands dismissively. She watched as a girl with a purple blouse and short white skirt turned around.
Yashiro had to hold in the gasp that threatened to escape from her pink lips. That girl was... beautiful. She had long, silky pink hair that flowed down stopping halfway down her back. She also had naturally rosy cheeks, smooth porcelain skin, beautiful lime eyes and... slender legs.
“Whatever,” the girl scoffed, looking Yashiro up and down before continuing to walk away, parting with a swift hair flip.
Yashiro stood there eyes wide and mouth open. Geez, who knew pretty faces had such rotten personalities. Except for Aoi, of course.
Yashiro simply shrugged as she walked to the elevator, waving slightly as another girl walked down the hallway, a nice one. Still, something bothered her, something in the pit of her stomach telling her something was off about that girl. Who cares…
...it’s not like she’ll ever see her again.
