Chapter Text
All for One was known as a heartless mastermind ruling the underground. He would not hesitate to kill anyone who he deeemed unworthy of his time and those who would dare to stop him on whatever goal he needed to achieve. He would make them beg for their lives until they were crying in their own blood. Everyone knew not to make an enemy out of him. Everyone knew not to make him pissed.
That was why when the 200 year old underground villain suddenly became silent with their operations, the whole villain community had an uproar. Various rumours started to circulate underground from finally being defeated to having a deadly disease. Even with the heroes, the theory of the said villain being dead was eventually created. The idea was stupid but with the sudden inactivity of All for One, even All Might could not help but to think about it. Right when they thought they were already near on finding the wicked villain and this disappearance happened.
"I really thought I could finally avenge my master's death." as All Might loudly groaned his frustrations in front of his trusted companions for their impromptu meeting.
"As what my sources all say in the underground, there are really no traces left at the last known hideout of All for One. It's like he really disappeared." added by Detective Tsukauchi.
"That fiend might be plotting a much bigger attack and is letting everyone know he is gone so that he can do a surprise attack later on! We can't just let our guards down that easily. This might be a trap all along." as grumpily said by Gran Torino.
"While the idea of All for One being actually dead is unbelievable perhaps we can try to relax a bit ourselves. We don't really know, the villain may had realized he wanted to live a normal life after all and just decided to leave his dark life behind." as Nezu tried to helpfully add while enjoying his cup of tea.
The other three occupants of the room abruptly stopped whatever they were doing and can't help to incredulously look at Nezu.
"What?"
The silent stares were then followed by hilarious laughters of the three.
"J-Just what are you even saying Nezu?! That is the worst idea you have ever suggested!"
"No no no! That is so not happening Principal Nezu. Not to that heartless villain! My predecessors would be so wounded for even considering the idea. Their deaths would be for naught then! So yeah. Definitely not happening sir."
"I may not know All for One that much but I definitely agree with them Principal Nezu. For a villain with a long history of crimes like All for One to just quit like that after building an entire underground empire? No, I believe he could not just abandon everything behind."
"Hm. Well I do understand where you three are coming from but maybe if he found something he truly treasures then this idea can be a reality."
All three answered a hard 'NO' in unison. All were vehemently showing their disagreement with the idea. Nezu then just laughed at their reactions and can't help but to think on how funny it can be if All for One really did quit being a villain.
"Okay okay. Whatever you all want to think."
The meeting then was adjourned after all thoughts and ideas have been discussed and considered, except that last one by Nezu. They all agreed to contact each other for whatever information they might know related to All for One's disappearance and to always be ready for the worst.
Little did they know that the idea of Nezu was the correct answer everyone was looking for.
That somewhere in a small apartment in Musutafu was All for One's new base of operations. His current goal was to make little Izuku finally sleep. But his dear Izuku was not done yet with the day and decided to play with his favorite nanny for a bit more. The problem was this has been an everyday occurrence and no quirk of All for One could help him at the moment.
It was evidenced by All for One's dark bags under his eyes and very tired appearance. How he regretted not acquiring a quirk that can give him endless energy to be able to keep on playing with an overactive baby.
Thankfully after hours of playing peak-a-boo with a giggling Izuku, his dear finally decided he had enough of today's fun and eventually started to feel sleepy.
Hisashi then went to prepare the baby's bottle of formula and has checked for its right temperature. He then let Izuku have the milk and gently cradled him while slowly swinging and singing a lullaby. Izuku peacefully fell asleep while grasping Hisashi's pinky finger. He can't help but to smile on how precious his dear was.
He has gone so soft. He knew that and it was really funny how domestic his life has turned out now. After finally deciding to leave his underground persona for good, he promised to dutifully dedicate his new life by being at Izuku's side. It may seem abrupt and Kurogiri did even tell him to consider it but his decision was already final.
Izuku came first above everything else. The love of his life, the reason of his continued existence and his 200 years of waiting. All were for his and Izuku's happiness. He would not waste his precious time dealing with some heroes especially not with his brother's quirk successor when he could be with Izuku instead.
He has gone soft but he would not hesitate to kill anyone who would dare to try to take away his dear Izuku from him.
Hopefully, those heroes would get the memo and try not to make that mistake or else he would gladly give them the war they were all looking for.
