Chapter Text
Keigo was just about done putting up with the league’s shenanigans, It was 2am and he still hadn’t got a minute of sleep. They were always annoying him and causing trouble, not to mention Grape hoe’s guitar practice’s at ungodly times at night as of late Twice had been joining him with his drums, god please just let the man have a nice night sleep. Keigo was on the edge of either stabbing both Burnt ass grape and Two-face or utterly obliterating their instruments. Damn, screw this all. Grape bitch boy wasn’t even playing well, he needs to try a bit harder then that. Keigo jumped out of bed and stomps over to where that hoe was practicing, he then grabbed Grape boy’s guitar right out of his hands and starts shredding on it.
Dabi claps slowly “Nice job birdy”
Hawks give’s Dabi his guitar back “I will break it if I don’t get sleep soon”
Dabi snickered “what, is the pretty birdy not getting enough beauty sleep”
Keigo glares at him “Yeah”
He then walks off and heads back to bed, but alas, Bitch boy grape style and Two faced hoe didn’t stop practicing. He groans and then flops onto the bed, wrapping a pillow around his head In order to cover his ears. After a few hours or so Keigo was finally able to sleep, for a little while at least.
Overall Keigo got about 3 hours of sleep before he stumbled downstairs to the kitchen in order to get breakfast. Kiego then tripped and fell flat on his face when heading towards the table.
The purple crusty mother fucker sees this and starts laughing his ass off before saying “Blackhawk down!”
Kiego growls slightly before pushing himself up and back onto his feet, for there he goes and gets breakfast. While eating he was chatting with the LoV a bit, and then they all started to harass Kiego and tell them about his past. He wasn’t someone who often shared his past, it was something he almost always kept to himself but he knew they wouldn’t leave him alone until he spilled. So he supposed he could tell them all his backstory.
He sighs before he began to talk “It’s a long story so just prepare yourselves. Anyway, I have had this quirk since I was young, and since I was young, I have hidden the parts of it that people see as unsightly in an attempt to fit in better. I had decent control over my quirk at the time, and therefore I used it to save some people from car crash. Then the hero commission decided to scout me, they took me in and started to train me for a while after buying me from my parents, but they found out about the unsightly parts of my quirk and just gave me back to my family. They told me I couldn’t become a hero. I tried, I made it to UA and met some people there, but I dropped out. It was much to taxing on me I couldn’t handle all the stress. The commission, what they made me do for this so called training, was absolutely terrible. I would go into detail you don’t need to hear about things such as that”
The rest of the league then started sharing their experiences, backstories, and discrimination, except Dabi who just looking dark and brooding in the corner. Dabi really wanted to give off a ‘I go to hot topic at least once a week’ vibe. The day went on and Keigo had a feeling Rumi might be worrying about him, he couldn’t exactly contact her in normal means due to the fact he wouldn’t risk her possibly getting caught for any kind of conspiracy with Keigo. Once it was nightfall Keigo left the hideout and started to search for Rumi trying to find her. The most likely possibility was that Rumi was doing her patrol route, which meant Kiego would just have to catch up with her. Catching up with her was going to be the difficult part, after all Keigo couldn’t fly and risk getting himself caught, and anyway he already has his sweatshirt put overtop his wings and it would take a bit of effort to get it off and get his wings out. He was fine with walking, after all he knew her patrol route decently well and could intersect her along her route. While walking along, preparing to get to where Rumi would be passing by, Keigo heard a quite noise of sobbing. Keigo decided to check out the source of such pained noises, after all they sounded as if they had come from a younger child. When he rounded the corner and looked into the alley which the noise was coming from he saw a hero kicking someone, so Keigo automatically ran into the alley and yell at the Hero “Hey! What the hell are you doing!?”
The hero turned to look at Keigo “This is a villain! Do not interfere!”
“It looks like they are good and well beat, and what did they do anyway?!”
The hero stopped beating up the person on the ground and turned towards Keigo “His quirk is one that can only end up producing a villain, there is not possible way in which they could become a hero”
Keigo opens his wings up, shredding his sweatshirt with the blade like feathers “Leave him be”
The hero signs “Come on, stop playing around. With a quirk as perfect as that you should know people like this are below us, their quirks have predetermined their path and they have lost any kind of rights they had from that moment.”
Keigo growls “How did you even find out his quirk? What even is It? How can it be so bad and villainous that he’s deserving of death?!”
The hero looks back down at the person “He can talk to the dead and brings death and misfortune everywhere he goes, I know because I let the reached beast live this long, I created such a horrible beast”
Keigo feels something snap in him, a little thread that was restraining him from doing what he had intended to do from the start. He lets himself go. He grabs one of his primaries and slices the hero in half. “The only villains here are me and you”
He attaches his primary back onto his wings and then approaches the person, wait, that was a kid, a small terrified kid. Why, what the hell?! What kind of monster treats a little kid like this? No matter what their quirk is no one deserves to be treated like this.
“Hey, are you ok?” Keigo asks trying to keep his voice soft and gentle as not to scare the kid
The kid looked up at Keigo and tilted his head slightly “Why would you help me? Aren’t I a monster?”
Keigo shook his head “You’re not a monster”
He picked up the kid then put him onto his back “I’m going to take you to someone really nice, Ok? She’s a strong hero and she will make sure to take care of you, Ok?”
The kid, who’s voice was still soft and shakey “Ok”
“You’re going to have to hold on tight, got it?”
“Yes”
Once the kid was holding on hawks spread his wings and took off, beginning to fly along Rumi’s patrol route until he saw her looking around in an alley. When he did he landed right behind her and let the kid climb off his back “Rumi”
Rumi’s head snapped back and she turned towards Hawks at an ungodly fast pace. The kid gasped when he saw Rumi “It’s! It’s The bunny-hero! Miriko!”
Kiego nodded “I’m going to tell Miriko a few things then she will take care of you, ok?”
The kid nodded and Keigo approached Rumi “Hey, sure has been a hot second since we last talked Rumi”
Rumi looked extremely pissed off, oh god Keigo was screwed “Yeah, It has, so mind explaining where the hell you have been, why you have blood on you, and who this child is!”
“Been with the League of hoes, killed a hero, and saved a kid”
“You did what now? Did you just say you have been with the League of Hoes? Explain, NOW”
Fearing Rumi’s wrath Keigo decided it would be best to give an explanation, a good one. “Ok, Ok, Let me start from the begging. I was at a concert, one of the League of Hoes concerts that I had struggled for so long to find, minding my own business when a bunch of heroes and cops show up. Naturally, everyone goes full panic mode and is rushing to get out of there. I was being trampled so I quickly used my feathers to fly myself out of there after breaking a window. Endeavor spotted me and hurled flames at me, so suddenly I don’t really like him that much anymore. Then I want home, got bored, stole a shopping cart and food from a grocery store and got bored again. I left the house once again but as I was walking around, BOOM, League of Hoes fighting a bunch of heroes. They were losing at the current time, and obviously I couldn’t let that happen, I can’t scream at them if they are in jail. So, I helped them a bit, stabbed a few heroes here and there, cut off a few arms, then they kinda just decided they liked me and wanted me to join their league. I had to still go off on them, that on top of the fact that like two of them didn’t seem too terrible, so I went with them. We were suddenly in a bar, I chugged some whiskey and threw a chair at a stitched up grape. Then I shredded on the guitar, had breakfast with the league where a few of us shared our life experiences and tragic backstories, I was forced to go first. It got late, I decided to go find you because I had a feeling you might be a bit worried about me. On my way to you I heard some sobbing and turned down an alley to see a hero, who was apparently his father, beating up the kid. I asked him why and he said some nonsense about his quirk being inherently villainous, and that he could only become a villain. He then said how people like me and him were above such people with quirks like that so naturally I snapped and cut him in half, like any rational person would do. Then I grabbed the child, who’s pretty badly injured, and came straight here.” Keigo took a deep breath and began to talk a bit slower as he continued “Look, this child needs someone to be there for him and protect him. When I saw him, saw his white hair, I automatically thought of you. I’m obviously not fit to take care of this child, so I came to you in the hopes that you would. And don’t worry I highly doubt he will see you as a parental figure, he will probably just see you as a big sister to him. So, would you please take this kid in?”
Rumi seems to take a moment in order to process everything. “Wait, you dumbass! The kid is injured! Before any of this you should have treated his wounds!”
Rumi sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose, obviously annoyed and irritated by how Keigo handled the situation. “I’ll take care of him, at least for right now”
Kiego smiled before running off, yelling back “Thanks Rumi! Love ya!”
Rumi sighed and waved to hawks before walking over to the child and crouching in front of him “Hey, I’m Rumi, what’s your name?”
The kid looked up a Rumi and spoke softly ‘I’m Hydro”
Rumi smiled “Well, Hydro I’ll be taking care of you for now”
