Hi guys!

After giving it a good amount of thought, I have decided to rearrange and re-do the Trust the Force (TtF) series and expand the plot I intended for it, to become part of a much larger work. Therefore, I am splitting off the original Trust the Force series into its own series, which I'm calling Endgame, Expanded (EE). I will still write the second chapter of Balance; however, it's going to be its own story in the EE series, as the 'first' chapter of Balance is going to serve as the beginning for EE and TtF. As I've said before, I write slowly, so I have no idea how long this all is going to take.

Notes:

This story, Balance, was actually a last minute addition to this series. As much as I wanted to focus on other stories, I realized that this was a conversation that needed to happen first. The same can be said of the one that will occur in the following chapter. They didn’t quite fit within the existing stories that I have planned, but they work much better as a precursor to them. And the title fits, don’t you think?

And, as a side note, when I think about the old Jedi Order, I think that while Jedi beliefs about attachment were flawed, the Jedi themselves were very much servants of the Light. There was so much Light, in fact, that the physical organization they protected--the Republic--grew to the point that it collapsed under its own weight, and ushered in an era of darkness.

Oh, just in case you were wondering--I know this is listed as Part 2 of my Trust the Force series, even though this chapter takes place before Part 1 (which is Jedi: Fallen Knight). The reason I kept it as Part 2 is that the second chapter will take place after Fallen Knight.
