Chapter Text
Beomgyu groaned as the morning sunlight hit his face. Right after waking up, only one thing appeared on his mind: what did Gyu do yesterday?
It took Beomgyu around 15 minutes to get himself off his bed, and he went straight to the kitchen to make instant ramen.
He didn't notice the post-it note on his bedside table.
"What in the-" Beomgyu muttered as he found a note on the table.
Eat your meals properly :((
-Gyu
Beomgyu picked it up and took a closer look- did Gyu really write this? He and Gyu shared the same handwriting and by the looks of it, it was his handwriting.
He raised an eyebrow- that was the first time he's heard from Gyu directly. Hueningkai and his other friends would only tell him stories about Gyu's personality, and Beomgyu would just listen in confusion and disgust.
Crumpling the note, Beomgyu went straight to the refrigerator to drink a bottle of cold water when he saw another note.
Try going grocery shopping, ok? Especially fruits and veggies- there's literally nothing but processed foods in your refrigerator and you don't even cook them!
-Gyu
Beomgyu rolled his eyes in annoyance. Seriously- what made Gyu suddenly want to meddle into his life?
He opened the refrigerator and saw an almost empty pack of hotdogs, an almost empty pack of ham, and an almost empty pack of bacon.
Beomgyu didn't remember cooking those before so he assumed Gyu cooked them and ate them.
Then he kept on seeing more notes, telling him to wash his dishes and do his laundry.
Beomgyu scoffed. Gyu was really starting to get on his nerves.
Leave me alone.
-Beomgyu
Beomgyu placed the post-it note on the table. He never thought of this whole post-it thing, but it seemed to be working. If Gyu sees the note he left, hopefully he would shut up.
But he was right about one thing though- he really needed to go grocery shopping.
Beomgyu awkwardly observed the shelf full of snacks. He was definitely not used to shopping. Gyu told him to buy more fruits and vegetables- fruits were a yes, but vegetables were a no.
Grumbling, he jogged to the area where fruits were sold and bumped into a boy.
"Can you watch where you're going?!" Beomgyu yelled angrily- his disappointment was immeasurable and his day was ruined.
However, the boy laughed in disbelief. He had blonde hair, and he was wearing a blue jacket.
"Maybe I should be asking you that!" the boy smiled sarcastically.
"Say you're sorry or I swear-" Beomgyu hissed when the boy cut him off.
"You swear you'll what?" he taunted, and Beomgyu could see red. He lunged forward to smack the boy but he felt someone pull him back.
"Woah, woah, woah- what the hell are you doing to my friend?!" Another boy exclaimed, his hands still on Beomgyu's arms preventing him from causing more trouble.
Beomgyu stared at him for a brief moment- he was pretty tall, had pink hair and looked pretty pissed.
"Why do you care?! Let me go!" Beomgyu yelled, forcing himself free from the other boy's grip as other people started staring at the three of them.
"Oh great, now you're making a scene." The boy with the blue jacket muttered.
"Jeez, calm down!" The pink haired boy exclaimed.
"You know him?" Beomgyu asked, tilting his head towards the boy wearing a blue jacket.
"Well yeah of course- he's my friend! So if I see you trying to hurt him one more time-" the boy with the pink hair threatened as Beomgyu yawned.
"Are you done? You're wasting my time," Beomgyu said.
The pink haired boy looked outraged. He too was about to lunge at Beomgyu when the blonde haired boy pulled him away.
"Let's just go, Yeonjun," He muttered, throwing a sideways glance at Beomgyu before leaving.
It was 7 p.m. and Beomgyu arrived home, immediately unpacking his groceries and going straight to sleep. He was tired as hell- that trip to the supermarket was the most social interaction he's had in his entire life.
"Gyu, take over for now. I don't care anymore." Beomgyu muttered before going to sleep.
Gyu woke up, feeling lost for a few seconds not knowing who he was, what he was, what year it was, and what his purpose on earth was.
And then he remembered- Beomgyu. He quickly got out of bed and headed straight to the kitchen, seeing a few bowls still in the sink.
But hey, they were way less than the amount of bowls he's seen in the sink before.
He opened the refrigerator and to his delight, it was filled with somehow acceptable food, instead of just hotdogs and bacon.
Gyu smiled to himself- Beomgyu read the notes.
Gyu was about to set the table when he found a note. Curiously, he picked it up.
Leave me alone.
-Beomgyu
He chuckled cutely- Beomgyu really was getting the hang of it, huh?
Smiling, he took a pen and wrote another note underneath:
Nope :D
-Gyu
Gyu almost had a heart attack when he heard the doorbell ring. He ran to the door and opened it to find two unfamiliar boys- a blonde haired one and a pink haired one.
"...yes?" Gyu mumbled awkwardly when the pink haired boy started to get up all on his face and yelled at him.
"Ok, you listen up right now. I was trying to be nice to you yesterday but you really had the audacity to insult me?! And worse, you were about to hurt my friend!"
Gyu backed off in fear- what the hell did Beomgyu do yesterday?!
"OK, OK I'M SORRY!" Gyu yelled back in fear, eyes widened and looking extremely panicked.
"So you know how to say sorry after all, huh?" The pink haired boy scoffed.
"Yeonjun, calm down- we were only here to bring him back his wallet- you literally didn't have to yell at him like that, the hell?" the blonde haired boy said.
"Here." He said, handing Gyu his wallet.
"I- uh- thank you," Gyu muttered awkwardly.
"Thank you? Since when did you have manners?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Damn. Beomgyu got into deep trouble yesterday, didn't he? Gyu sighed frustratedly.
"Ok- I'm sincerely sorry for the attitude I showed you yesterday, I really am. I was just- not in the mood so again, I apologize." Gyu said- the least he could do was cover up for Beomgyu and apologize on his behalf.
The two boys stared at him in confusion but decided to accept it.
"Anyways- I was making breakfast, you wanna come in?" Gyu offered, and the boys nodded awkwardly.
"I'm Taehyun, by the way." The blonde haired boy smiled, shaking Gyu's hand.
"And I'm Yeonjun," The other boy laughed, ruffling Gyu's hair playfully instead of shaking his hand.
"Sit at the sofa for a while, I'm just gonna go and set the table!" Gyu said cheerfully as Taehyun and Yeonjun nodded.
Immediately grabbing a pen and post-it note, Gyu wrote another note and sticked it on the cupboard.
Where the hell are your manners?! Is saying sorry really that hard?
-Gyu
