Chapter Text

Hero's name is Jamie, a tall brunette that has a tendency to do things instead of thinking first, this time, taking with him the Villain; Eamonn. The genius mastermind behind the robbery of classified governmental information, all regarding to his real identity and stuff that Villains do, blah, blah blah. Who has time for that?

On the other part, Jamie, kind of kidnapped the man —that drak skin man who's inches shorter than him, but had a beuatiful smile according to the writer when she picured him, yes— after he kept teasing him and testing his patience, besides from calling Jamie insults in French, which he did not understood at all; So, nervous and erratic and exasperating as he his, and his team still not showing up, he took the Villain, still handcuffed to the briefcase with various dangerous possibly radioactive artefacts and forced him to follow him, and, as Eamonn was following him, Jamie stepped on his toes, jostled him and made fun of his all black clothing, like, why was he dressed like this was the Victorian era? Somehow, Jamie got him into a nearby bar he always goes to and sat Eamonn in a far away table, with little to no lighting. Whatever was happening inside of Eamonn's mind was a secret, his face had no expression, he's impassive, as always. But in his mind he thought that he was gonna or get beaten to death in this empty bar.

“What is this? Why are we here?” Eamonn looked around, disgusted by the whole atmosphere of the place, dusty, dirty and ugly. The perfect place for Jamie, he thought.

“Where's the key, bitch?” The expression in Jamie's face was more serious now.

“I don't know what you're talking about...”

“It's on your boot, isn't?”

“No.” Eamonn answered as quickly as he asked that. Jamie looked at his boots, his black boots. And then looked at him, raised an eyebrow. “Why...?”

“That's where you put your knife last time, right? I saw that.”

“Oh, you pay attention to me, aw”

“Shut up. Give me the k—”

“Even if i had the key, which i don't, i wouldn't give it to you even if you tried to kill me.” His diplomatic, fake smile fell and now Jamie could see the real man before him, the vicious evil rat that would do anything to have power.

“Funny you said that, because that's exactly what I'm going to do.” Jamie grabbed Eamonn by the neck of his shirt, and forcefully got him closer, now the table looked like an obstacle.

“In front of all these people?” Eamonn came back to that I'm-above-everyone attitude, with his smirk of superiority. “What would your team think? What would the public think?” But Jamie didn't let go.

“Listen here, motherfucker...” His phone rang. They kept looking at each other as if one was waiting for the other to blink, Jamie looked away, picking the call.

Everywhere he looked, Eamonn saw old men drinking beer and talking about the women that passed by. As if he couldn't be more disgusted by the whole situation, Jamie grabbed his wrist, specifically from the one hand that was handcuffed. Eamonn could feel his grip on his hand and his wrist so tight, he could not move his arm. And tried to escape his enormous hand.

“What you mean where i am?! I told you where I am...” Ah, Jamie's temper, was getting worse and worse by age. “What?! Yes! He's fucking here sitting next to me, it wasn't a lie...!” Eamonn tried to get away whilst the Hero was distracted, but his hand movement did nothing to Jamie's grip, and he almost fell from his chair “Are you guys coming or am I gonna have to take this idiot all by myself...? Okay, okay, I'll wait!” Jamie hung up the call, looking around, nervous still.

“Oh” His mind wandered. “So, no one is coming, right?”

“Shut the fuck up.”

“That's rough, why do your friends treat you like that, Hero?” Eamonn pouted. He knew the short temper Jamie possessed, since he met him, it was like a time bomb, it will explode any second now. “Do they think you're insufficient for the job? They don't take you seriously?” Jamie didn't say anything, instead, he grabbed his gun and shoot the top of the briefcase.

The briefcase fell to the ground, without the handcuffs. Eamonn gasped, horrified, but he wasn't fast enough, now Jamie had that dark, metallic briefcase that had God knows what inside of it.

“You were saying?” Everybody there got scared and they all had their own guns ready to shoot, but they didn't, thankfully. Eamonn was starting to hyperventilate, like having a panic attack. “Hey, are you ok?” The face of genuine concern in Jamie's face only scared him more, he punched him in the face with his fist, as he was looking for the key of the handcuffs he still had on.

Once he found the key —inside his right boot— and opened the handcuffs, Eamonn intended to grab the briefcase and find anywhere he can use so the handcuff will still be attached to it. Desperate, he was desperate.

“Hey!” But, again, Jamie was faster, and he moved the briefcase out of his reach, the handcuff instead touched his own wrist and click, it was closed.

They looked at each other. Jamie's nose was bleeding, still, they looked at each other.

“Where is the key?” Eamonn looked around. Saw nothing.

Where the fuck was the key, indeed.
