Hi everyone!! This is the author speaking :) If you're here, first of all, I want to thank you for reading this fic and I hope you've enjoyed it so far.
This is me officially announcing that I will be discontinuing this fic. Up till now, I've been writing it in a sort of first-draft state where I wrote it and immediately posted, and because of that, it has been quite difficult to tie up all the story's loose ends and make changes to the plot. I've also been in somewhat of a dilemma about how to present certain plot points, which I felt affected the quality of my writing. So for these reasons, I will no longer be making chapters of this fic.
However, fret not! I won't be abandoning Diluc and Venti's story completely. I plan to do somewhat of a redo of this fic, possibly with the plot a little bit changed, but definitely with the same characters and the same relationships between them. That story will be published sometime in the future, and once it's up, I will be deleting this fic. For now, though, it's here, and I hope it's brought a smile to your faces :)
If you're curious about what I had planned, Diluc and Venti were going to attend the Windblume Festival! It's actually a plot point I had planned for a while and I am rather disappointed to leave this fic without writing it yet, but I feel the plot has gotten messy and long-winded and it would be better to stop instead of making it even more convoluted.
Next time, maybe I'll present the story in a series of short fics or oneshots to avoid that :) Keep a lookout for those!
