Chapter Text
“Loki, tidy your toys up please,” Mobius shouted from the kitchen, in front of him the sauce for the spaghetti bubbled, he gave it a stir with the wooden spoon.
There was a pause of silence then the child’s voice called back, “They’re not toys! They’re model building equipment!”
Mobius rolled his eyes, checking the cheesy garlic bread in the oven, “Put the Legos away, Loki, now . Dinner’s nearly ready.”
His words were met with more silence, but five minutes later he heard Loki walking across the apartment, and the door to his bedroom closing. Mobius smiled to himself, glad Loki had listened to him, and had even taken his toys to his room.
Mobius moved around the kitchen, grabbing two glasses, filling them with water, then picking them up to go and set the table.
The entire table was covered with the small multicoloured Lego blocks which Loki had been playing with that afternoon.
“Seriously?” He grumbled under his breath, he carried the water glasses back to the kitchen and turned the things down so that nothing would burn.
He didn’t bother to knock on Loki’s door, instead he just opened it, to find Loki sat cross legged on the floor with his action figures.
Mobius cleared his throat, Loki’s head snapped up, and for just a second Loki looked a little guilty, before turning the ‘couldn’t care less’ look back on.
It was the same look Loki had been using for half the afternoon.
And it was beginning to wear thin.
“Loki, I thought I told you to put your Legos away?”
Loki gave him a shrug.
“So, why are they still on the table?”
“I don’t want to put them away.”
Mobius took a calming breath, “Well, bucko , that’s not how this works. I asked you to put them away, so you need to go put them away right now, so that we can have dinner.”
Loki scowled down at his toy, “We can just push them to the other end of the table, it’s not a big deal.”
Mobius let out a breath as he crouched down, gently taking the superhero action figure out of his hands, he placed it into the box they had been kept in, “Look at me, please.”
He stayed quiet until Loki met his eyes.
“Thank you. Do you remember the rules we made?”
He gained a hesitant nod.
“Good, can you tell them to me? Specifically the ones you’re currently choosing to break?”
“I’m not-!”
“- Loki .”
Loki looked down, rolling his eyes, straightening a little when he heard Mobius clear his throat again, this time in warning, “Not doing as you tell me to… and not tidying up after myself.”
“That’s good,” Mobius told him, the boy looked up, surprised. “ Not that you haven’t followed the rules, but that you know them. I’d prefer it if you didn’t give me attitude while you’re telling me them, though. I asked you to put your toys away as we need to eat at the table which we can’t do with them everywhere, and if they’re on the floor we can step on them and either break the things you created, or hurt ourselves. Do you want to talk about why you’ve been in such a bad mood this afternoon?”
Loki shook his head, looking away from Mobius again.
Mobius
knew why, of course, but Loki shook his head,
again
, and Mobius decided that dinner was ever so slightly more important than a talk which he knew wouldn’t be needed by the next morning.
“Okay, if you change your mind you can talk to me, no judgements” he told him softly, before becoming stern again, “
Now
, I’ll give you one last chance to put your toys away in here, and the ones in the dining room, so that we can eat, or you won’t be allowed to play with the Lego tomorrow as a consequence.”
Mobius counted five seconds in his head before Loki moved into action, packing the action figures back into the box, Mobius decided to wait for him to pack away those few toys before they walked out of the room together.
Mobius watched Loki start to pack the Legos away, before heading back to the kitchen to finish up their dinner, turning around when he heard Loki clearing his throat in the archway.
“What’s wrong buddy?”
“Nothing… I set the table with the placemats…”
Mobius smiled, “Thank you, Loki. Did you pack your Lego all away into the plastic box?”
Loki hesitated but nodded his head.
Mobius could see the hesitance, but he didn’t seem to be lying so Mobius left it, “Good boy, can you take these glasses through?”
“Of course!” Loki went to take both of them but Mobius stopped him.
“One at a time, please, I don’t want you smashing them and getting hurt.”
Loki took one of the glasses and tried unsuccessfully to hide the rolling of his eyes.
Mobius shook his head fondly, sure he was a little very dramatic, but even today while he was in a bad mood he had been so eager to please, it was cute, and made his second chance a little easier to adapt to.
Loki came back in for the second glass as Mobius plated up the food.
“You’ve never had cheesy garlic bread, have you?”
“... I’ve had bread?”
Mobius smiled fondly as he followed the now child sized demigod.
His smile grew when he saw that Loki had put the Lego in the box, however had managed to keep his creations perfectly intact, creating a tower out of the box.
Mobius made sure to keep the atmosphere deliberately lighthearted as they ate, it seemed to work. Loki clearly enjoyed the meal who managed to end up with spaghetti sauce all over his face and sweatshirt, and who managed to sweet talk half of Mobius’ garlic bread onto his own plate.
“Can we have dessert?” Loki asked hopefully as Mobius put their empty dishes into a pile to take to be washed up.
Mobius hesitated, holding his watch up so he could read it.
“ Please? ”
“You can have some ice cream, but ,” he stressed over Loki’s excitement, “you’ve gotta take a bath first, you’re pretty mucky; you can have the ice cream while you and Casey watch the movie.”
All of Loki’s excitement deflated.
“Is that still happening?”
Mobius raised an eyebrow at Loki’s dull tone, he had been acting young with just Mobius around, and he seemed to be enjoying it, allowing himself to not fight his brain... but it was clear he was fighting it now.
“You know that it is. I’ve got to work, I won’t be gone for long, but you’ll have fun with Casey.”
Truthfully Casey wasn’t Mobius’ first choice, but he was the only person Mobius knew who wasn’t working.
“I could go with you.”
“No, you can’t.”
“Why not?!”
“Because, buddy, as we’ve already talked about: this is in the field work, which means it could be dangerous: I’m not having you in any danger.”
He carried the dishes into the kitchen, hearing Loki’s little feet follow him, it wasn’t a surprise that it wasn’t over with his words, he turned back to face him.
“Also, it’ll be way past your bedtime when I get back home.”
“This isn’t fair.”
He heard the stomp of his foot against the floor, Mobius turned to take in the pouting seven year old’s face, and his crossed arms.
Ah, so the child was back,
Mobius thought to himself,
no wonder Loki’s emotions were everywhere when so was his mental age
.
“I’m sorry you feel that way, but this is how it has to go, you’ll have a lot of fun. I even got some chocolate toppings for ice cream, and you can choose the movie you want.”
He made a mental note not to tell Casey parental lock passcode, just in case Loki decided to try and manipulate Casey into watching something which would scare either or possibly both of them.
“Why do you even have to go?” Loki looked down, mumbling, “They have other analysts, they could send any of them.”
Mobius knelt down in front of Loki, placing one hand on his shoulder, he tipped his head back gently with his other hand so he would be looking at him.
“Because I’m the best,” Mobius told him honestly, “There’s someone doing bad things hurting people across the timelines, I’ve gotta help, it’s the right thing to do. The good thing.”
“This is why I became a villain. The good thing’s stupid.”
Mobius chuckled, “We both know it’s not. Anyway you're not a villain, not anymore…. and it’s very sweet that you’re going to miss me.”
Loki shifted awkwardly, the muscle in his jaw jumped as he looked down again, suppressing the emotions as best he could, but Mobius saw it.
“Only because you said I’m not allowed to threaten Casey, it’s going to be boring.”
“I’m glad you think I’m so interesting.” He chuckled as Loki pulled a face which clearly said that he didn’t think he was interesting at all.
“And Lokes? I’m gonna miss you too. Even if I’ll only be gone for a few hours.”
“That’s perfectly understandable,” Loki told him in a ‘duh’ tone, “I’m awesome.”
Mobius ruffled Loki’s long hair, “Sure, kid. Now c’mon, bath time.”
It was weird to be back at his locker after having been on leave for so long, okay it hadn’t been that long , but he had also given away most of his leave in the past because he hadn’t had much of a reason to take it.
But now he checked his TemPad for the eighth time since getting there, just in case.
“Wow, you are such a dad .”
Mobius rolled his eyes, sticking his TemPad into his locker, then slamming it shut before turning to see Ravonna stood grinning at him. “Didn’t we already go through this? I’m not a dad… I’m a guardian, a foster parent, not a dad .”
“Just remember, when you’re willing to admit defeat you owe me a drink.” She grinned as she watched Mobius look deliberately annoyed, but she knew it was fake. “How is Loki?”
Mobius’ face broke into a smile, “He’s doing good, really good. He built an entire town outta Lego yesterday, wouldn’t let me make anything which he didn’t dictate, he had a vision of what he wanted apparently,” Mobius chuckled, “He’s been getting kinda into the toys, not that I can call them that without him pouting... and he chose this frog teddy from the store, he loves the thing, he doesn’t admit that either, but he sleeps with it every night, and I caught him telling it the prophecy of Ragnarok the other night before bedtime, he didn’t see me obviously, but he changed it so he and Thor saved the day and all the people.”
Ravonna smiled as he rambled about the demigod who was clearly Mobius’ son, even if the agent refused to realise it, the smile softened at the bittersweet tale of Loki’s version of Ragnarok. “So, no more nightmares?”
“No big ones, sometimes he has the start of one, but if I stroke his hair he stops and falls asleep properly. I think the nightlight helped, and making a bedtime routine at the same time every night.”
“Wow… How did you manage to get the easiest kid? I feel like you deserve one who is as much of a pain in the ass as you are.”
Mobius shot her a fake glare as she grinned, “Ha! Yeah… Sure . He’s been pissed off and grumpy with me all afternoon, and acting out, I mean… mostly refusing to listen to me without me having to have a like five or ten minute talk with him.”
She snorted, “What’s he been doing? Set anything on fire? Have you had to hide knives yet…. Or….?”
“Okay… sure… that was bad, if pretty funny as I didn’t have to deal with it.”
“ Yet ...”
Mobius rolled his eyes, “He… he just kept refusing to clean up and being grumpy, telling me that he didn’t want to… It’s not a big deal, I know that, but… he was upset because I was leaving him… I just feel bad. I mean, I know I have to work, and I know he’ll get used to this…” Mobius trailed off with a sigh. “He starts school soon, he’ll get used to it, so will I... but… He said he was going to miss me, which from Loki is basically him clinging onto my leg and not letting me leave as I try to leave.”
Ravonna relented her teasing and sent him a sympathetic smile, squeezing his hand. “He’s with Casey now, right?”
“Yeah… I figured that Loki’s met him before and he’s nonthreatening, there’s not much he can do to destroy our home… probably shouldn’t have said that, it’ll jinx it.”
He shook his head then caught sight of the locker room beginning to fill up with the people going with him on the mission.
“Maybe if you’re not working next time he could stay with you?”
“I don’t see why not, however I’m working soon, so I can’t save your ass with your kid today.”
Mobius deliberately ignored her trying to wind him up, “Are you here to just see me off? I knew I was your favourite.”
Ravonna snorted, “Sure. No, I’m here to give you all a quick pep talk, then see her off,” She nodded her head to Sylvie. Sylvie was a young adult, but still as fearless as she had always been, she was the first Loki Variant to have gone through the machine, Ravonna had been the one to vouch for her so had been the one who looked after her until she was of age.
“Okay, but other than your daughter, I’m your favourite, right?”
Ravonna rolled her eyes, “Every time you ask you go further down the list of my favourites, just so you know. Even if she wasn’t my daughter she’d be way above you on the list.”
Mobius gave her a disbelieving look, but smiled at Sylvie as she walked over to join them, “Hey, Sylv, good to see you on a mission with us: Have you been annoying your mom?”
“Of course.” Sylvie’s face broke into a mischievous smile, “I take it you have too?”
Mobius grinned back at her, being struck by how like Sylvie Loki was, “Of course.”
Ravonna rolled her eyes, “You two are incorrigible.”
Mobius shrugged, not arguing with her, he took it as a compliment.
“Have you really taken in a Loki variant?”
Mobius’ eyes flickered to Ravonna, he had been part of Sylvie’s life since Ravonna had taken her in, so he knew that she had very quickly decided she didn’t want to be a Loki, or to be associated with any of them, so her question was almost odd.
He nodded his head, “Yeah, he went through the machine about a week ago, he’s still settling in, finding his feet.”
Sylvie nodded her head slowly, “I remember what that was like… Maybe once he’s settled I could meet him?”
Mobius tried to hide his surprise, “Yeah, I think that could be good for him, he can be a little…. He’s still testing boundaries, testing me, meeting you could be good, if you’re okay with that?”
Sylvie shrugged, “Wouldn’t have offered if I didn’t mean it.”
Mobius nodded his head slowly, “Okay, great.” he glanced at Ravonna, then his eyes flickered back at the locker, wanting more than ever to check on Loki, but he knew he was being stupid, Loki was fine without him.
“Let’s get this party started,” he announced, clapping his hands together, then walked to the middle of the room to call everyone around and start the briefing.
Loki had tried to be good once Mobius had left, at first he had been quite gleeful at the nervous looks Casey had sent him, but the man had seemed to relax too quickly, and Loki found himself missing Mobius…
It was embarrassing, frankly.
Casey kept trying to talk to him, so Loki had pointedly taken himself to his room, quietly resuming the play he was performing with the action figures, not playing with them, as he wasn’t a child.
“Hey, Loki?” Loki looked up to see Casey nervously in his doorway.
“What?”
“Your dad- er, Agent Mobius, he told me we should watch a movie tonight, that you could choose one?”
He felt a little strange at Casey referring to Mobius as his dad, he hadn’t had luck with any fathers in his past, and Mobius was incredibly different to Laufey and to Odin… But also Mobius was not his dad, Mobius had corrected several people who had made that mistake.
Loki tilted his head to the side as his heart quickened, “He told you? When? Did you just talk to him? Is he nearly done with the case?”
The questions spilled from him before he had a chance to stop them, he told himself not to be embarrassed as this was
Casey
he was talking to.
“Er, no? He told me before he left… I’m sure he’ll be home soon?” Casey tried but sounded uncertain and concerned. He put on a smile and a chipper voice, “Y’know he’s working with one of you today?”
Loki screwed up his face, “What?”
“One of his team on this is Sylvie, she’s you, well she’s a lot older than you, she’s a badass, pretty scary, but she’s good at the job.”
Loki decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth, plus if he was focused on getting information then he didn’t have to examine why he was feeling...
jealous?
“She’s like me? A Loki?” Casey took this as a cue to sit on Loki’s bed as he nodded, Loki gritted his teeth and forced himself not to tell him to get the hell off of his bed.
“She works here?”
“Yeah, she was like you, Agent Mobius nearly adopted her, but Judge Ravonna was the lead of the case, she took the lead on it, so she was tasked with raising her, it’s probably why Sylvie’s so scary. Has Agent Mobius not told you about her?”
Loki took slow calming breaths, he couldn’t find his voice so he just slowly shook his head. He looked down at the action figures, and at his slippered feet… “Could you make the ice creams? I’ll pick the movie…?”
This seemed to make Casey believe that he had made everything better, he beamed, and Loki tried his best to force a small smile onto his face, getting to his feet.
Casey headed into the kitchen, and Loki headed towards the front of the apartment, in the direction of the living room, where he had said he would put a movie on, he glanced back to the kitchen where he could hear Casey moving around.
Instead of heading into the living room he headed through the entryway, standing on his tiptoes he pushed the door open, and slipped out of his new home.
Loki remembered Mobius telling him, when they first met, that time moves differently in the TVA, and while Loki had believed that, especially on the day of the interrogation where he was shown his mother’s death, but he didn’t think he had truly understood that until now.
He had taken one of the automated pods to the main TVA building, he was fairly certain that he could find Mobius if he went there, or if he wasn’t there maybe Loki could find a TemPad and go find him.
Loki could help.
Loki could help more than some crappy fake version of himself.
As soon as he got to the main building he had gotten lost, it hadn’t helped that he had to stay hidden from anyone walking past, and keep an eye out for Mobius.
He was getting tired as he walked, he hadn’t been able to get close enough to anyone to steal a TemPad, and there was no sign of Mobius anywhere, he bit his lip to stop himself from crying, which was ridiculous, he was a God , why the hell was he nearly crying over missing a bureaucrat who had basically abducted him?!
…. He knew that it was because Mobius wasn’t really just any bureaucrat, and he hadn’t been abducted, he had been saved… but the truth didn’t help him stop from crying, so he stuck to his lies in his mind, and carried on moving.
He was about to try and find his way out of the building and back home when he heard the question.
“Are you lost, honey?”
Loki span on his feet, coming face to face with a Minuteman, pruner stick in the holster by their side, Loki backed away slowly, swallowing, and trying to breathe, he bumped into something, his head snapped towards it, only to find another Minuteman looking down at him.
“Woah, there, son, what’s your hurry?” The man grabbed hold of Loki’s upper arm, Loki began to shake, hoping that they didn’t feel him shake, “Where’s your mommy or daddy? Are you lost?”
Loki shook his head slowly, trying hard to search his mind for the right words to say which could fix it all, but his silver tongue was failing him at the sight of those pruning sticks.
“Does anyone know that you’re here?” This time suspicion crept into the first Minuteman’s voice.
“I…” Loki’s mouth opened and shut twice.
“ Loki Laufeyson! ”
Loki’s head snapped towards Ravonna Renslayer’s voice, he sucked in a breath, relief filling his every cell even if she looked like she was ready to kill him, or at the very least lecture him.
Her heels clacked as she walked across the marble floor, “I know his father, I’ll get him back to him, thank you.”
The Minuteman took this as a sign to unhand Loki, and Loki found his ability to breathe again, he didn’t even think about protesting when Ravonna took hold of his hand, tight enough that he wouldn’t be able to pull away if he had wanted to.
He swallowed hard then bit his lip, the feeling of needing to cry was nearly overwhelming.
“Oh, if you could ask Agent Mobius to come to my office, tell him that I have his son, that he’s safe.”
Loki watched the pair skitter away, clearly happy to get away from the judge, he watched them carefully, terrified that they’d turn back, possibly with their pruners...
“Let’s go to my office, Mobius will be there soon, I’m sure he’ll want to talk to you.” She pulled open a portal, and led Loki through.
Loki was led to the couch, sitting when she told him to, he kept his eyes on the floor. Ravonna moved out of his field of vision, only to return a few seconds later.
“Here.”
Loki looked up to see Ravonna holding a glass out to him, orange juice inside, “I don’t… I don’t understand?”
“You’ve been gone from home for a while, I’m guessing you didn’t stop anywhere to grab something to drink? Drink it all, Loki.”
Loki took it from her, and took slow sips, feeling less shaky with each sip, “Thank you.”
“Why are you wandering around the TVA in the middle of the night, Loki? Wait, how did you even get here? Your apartment building’s about twenty blocks and a hundred floors from here.”
“One of the pods, they stop outside the building…”
“Ah… I’m going to look into how to make sure children can’t just climb into those, that doesn’t sound safe... “ She shook her head of her own thoughts, “Why did you come here?”
Loki swung his legs as they dangled down from the couch, he watched them as he mumbled his answer, “I was looking for Mobius… he’s been gone forever, I wanted to… I wanted to help, if he was in trouble, I mean… I just… I don’t know why I, I don’t know why I did it… I just… I missed him?” He trailed off in confusion.
“You shouldn’t have done have snuck off, Loki, you really shouldn’t have, believe me when I say that I’ve never seen Mobius look so scared than tonight, when he came back from the mission to hear that you were missing, he’s been back to your home to try and search for you, he’s sent out nearly a hundred men to try and find you. ”
“...He’s gonna be really mad,” he didn’t bother to say who , but then he didn’t need to,
She took a slow breath in, “He won’t hate you, Loki. What you need to remember is that Mobius is just worried about you, that parents worry about their kids.”
“I’m not his kid,” Loki mumbled, looking down again.
Ravonna’s hand went to his knee, squeezing it gently, “What makes you say that?”
Loki shrugged, jerkily, meaning to leave it at that, but it was too late to shut his brain off, “‘s what he says.” Loki finished the last of his drink and placed the glass down on top of some watermarks on a side table.
She pursed her lips but nodded slowly, “Sometimes Mobius can be a little bit of an idiot…” She whispered conspiratorially, “...I wouldn’t repeat that to him, especially not right now. But Loki, he talks about you all the time, he’s just… he cares about you a lot. You are his kid, it can just be hard sometimes, for you kids, and for us parents.”
“He’s not my parent… he’s not gonna wanna be one, not now…not that I even want him to be my... I broke a rule… A big rule.”
Before Ravonna could say anything the door to the office was flung open.
Loki jumped. Mobius strode over, looking more dishevelled than Loki had ever seen him, and he had seen him in the middle of the night.
Mobius crouched down in front of Loki, panting as he took Loki’s face in his hands, looking him over, “You’re okay? You’re not hurt? You’re not sick? You’re fine?”
Loki shook his head ever so slightly, trying to answer and to shake the confusion from his brain, “I… I’m okay. I-”
“ No . We’re not talking right this second, and you especially are not talking first, I’m really not happy with you right now.” Mobius shook his head letting out a shaky breath, he took his hands away from Loki’s cheeks, and stood up. “Go stand in that corner,” he pointed to a corner of the office, “face the wall, no talking, no moving. Believe me when I tell you that you are already in more trouble than you could imagine, so do as you’re told without any arguing or trying to ‘negotiate’ : for once .”
Loki got to his feet as fast as he could, both because Mobius told him to and it seemed important, and because his eyes were stinging with tears, and he couldn’t let Mobius see him cry right then… he didn’t want him to think he was trying to manipulate him on this one, as Odin had accused him of so many times.
His bottom lip shook as he stared at the wall in front of him, trying not to think too much about everything that had happened, about how much he had messed up... but he had always had a problem with thinking too much.
“You seriously didn’t let me open a portal into here? Are you fuckin’ kiddin’ me?” Mobius whisper hissed as soon as they got to the other side of the room from Loki. Mobius looked back at
“I rightly assumed that you needed time to catch your breath, because I know you, you’re my best friend,” she kept her voice just as low as he did, “and I know how much you love that kid already, and I know that your love can be fierce, even a little scary. I didn’t want you to come in and scare him.”
“He scared me first.”
“You’re the adult here, as you once told me… after I fucked up with my kid who I had been pushing away out of fear I’d fuck up too. This is up to you.”
Mobius pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head, letting out a breath, “Rav, the first time I left him home with a babysitter, he ran away… he could have been hurt, he could have… Fuck ... Maybe he’d be best with someone more experienced.”
“No… I mean, are you kidding me? One thing goes wrong, for reasons you’re assuming , and you want to dump him?”
“I don’t-!” He released how loud he was and quickly lowered his voice to a hiss again, “I don’t want to dump him! I want him to be safe.”
Ravonna nodded her head towards Loki in the corner.
Mobius followed her gaze:
Loki was still standing facing the wall, he didn’t appear to be trying to listen in, in fact he was slumped and his shoulders were shaking. Mobius swallowed and forced himself to stay where he was instead of going over to comfort him. He knew that Loki wasn’t supposed to
like
being in the corner.
He looked back at Ravonna.
“He looks pretty safe to me.”
Mobius couldn’t argue with that, he rubbed his hand over his face, “I guess.”
“Ask him why he left your apartment. And while you’re at it, maybe stop arguing that he’s not your kid, because that’s what’s going to fuck you both up,” She gave him a look, “Go be a parent. I’ll grant you permission to open a portal to get home.”
Mobius sucked in a breath, and nodded his head, then turned to face Loki.
He nodded once, psyching himself up.
He closed the gap and softly called his name.
Loki turned around, looking to the ground on purpose, but Mobius crouched down, rubbing away the tears he was trying to hide with the pads of his thumbs, “We’re going to go home and you and I are going to have a talk, got it?”
Loki nodded his head, “I’m sorry,” his voice cracked, and he could hear how young he sounded and he just didn’t care, he needed to say it.
Mobius nodded his head slowly, once; he watched Loki carefully, there were no signs of him lying, still... “Let’s go home, we’ll talk there. You should apologise to Ravona politely as possible before we go.” Loki nodded. “It doesn’t have to be a long one, because make no mistake you’re going to give her a proper apology tomorrow, and you’re giving Casey an even lengthier one, understand?”
“Y-Yes sir.”
Loki shuffled over to Ravonna, his slippers scuffing across the marble as he did, he looked down at the cartoon cats on the top of them, “I’m sorry. You were working and I… I’m sorry you had to come and find me.”
“I’m glad that you’re safe,” She placed her hand on his head fondly, “Tell him the truth Loki, why you left the apartment. And don’t do this again, understand?”
Loki nodded his head, “Y- yes,” he swallowed, then sucked in a breath. “I really am sorry, I’m not just… I am sorry.”
“Loki, I know you’re not trying to manipulate me, I know enough about Loki’s to see that, and Mobius knows you well enough to know that same about you specifically,” she dropped her voice to a strange mix of an encouraging and a warning whisper, “so tell him the truth.”
Loki nodded once, then moved back over to Mobius, the man held his hand out to him, Loki took it straight away.
"I don't want you getting lost again, so you're gonna be holding my hand when we're anywhere for a while," Mobius told him, warning in his voice.
Ravonna opened a portal for them and nodded to the pair, wishing them luck, as well as sending them off.
