Inui slowly opened his eyes, the dusty familiar walls of Shinichiro bike shop greeting him. Cobwebs had made home to the corners of the walls, Inui would need to schedule a day with Koko to clean up the whole place, it's been awhile since the last spring cleaning with how busy Black Dragon has been for the past few months.
“Ack.”
He winced as he tried to get up but only felt pain strike through his entire body. He felt like crap.
“Inupi!” Koko immediately dropped whatever he was doing after hearing Inui’s voice and ran towards Inui who was resting on the couch.
“Koko..” Inui croaked out. Koko got up to get water and quickly returned to Inui’s side knowing it's been a good few hours since Inupi last drank any water.
“How are you feeling?” he started, helping Inui sit up even if it was better to lie down.
“Like shit. No thanks to you.”
Koko flinched. Looking away from Inui.
“Sorry..”
Inui sighed. He probably suffered a few broken bones and cracked ribs from the beating Taiju gave him seeing how he primarily aimed for his stomach. All of this was Koko’s fault, his brain supplied. And yet he couldn't really be angry at Koko for long even if someone told him to. Even if Taiju had broken all of his bones because Koko messed up, he probably wouldn't be mad at Koko either.
Inui glanced at Koko, he looked far too pitiful right now, he had a busted lip, bloodied knuckles with blood crusting and his eyes were red most probably from crying. His usual prim and proper hair he took ages to set was all over the place caked in dust and dirt. He could probably use a bath right now to be honest. Inui bet Koko wouldn't have left him had he stayed unconscious till the next day.
“Pudding. Three packs. And it better be from that expensive store by the mall.”
Koko finally looked at him. Eyes and mouth wide open. Inui wanted to make fun of Koko but he knew that he had to ‘scold’ Koko and demand for some kind of compensation in one way or another or he’d be weighed with guilt.
“I’ll buy five.” Koko shouts.
“Don't. I don't want to have diabetes.”
“Then I'll buy some macarons too.”
Inui's eyes lit up to Koko’s amusement.
“You don't have to do that…'' Inui looks away, “Just the puddings are fine.”
‘Inupi sure is bad at lying’ Koko laughs.
Inui clicks his tongue when he hears Koko’s laugh. He tries to swing his arm at Koko but then gets the rude reminder that he was in fact, a injured patient and groans loudly as he smashed ungracefully to the floor.
Koko must be feeling better because instead of helping him up he was laughing at the whole situation.
Really. All of this was Koko’s fault.
