You look at the neat row of stitches and vaguely wonder when he could have had time to hone his skills, though perhaps that is a question for another day. Or not a question for me at all, you think. Shaking your head of such thoughts, you glance back at him, “Here I was, half-expecting you to sew your name into my leg.”
He gives a light-hearted little laugh. “Oh, was that on the table? I’m happy to start over!”

Astarion is an expert at embroidery -- Tav finds this out through an injury. It's not until they near the end of their journey that they dig deeper into *why* he’s such an expert.
