Chongyun was walking around Liyue Harbor when he spotted Xinqiu. He was reading a book which you could normally find him doing anywhere in Liyue whether it be on a tree or a roof he could be found anywhere with his face stuffed in a book. Chongyun walked up to him “Hey Xingqiu how's your day been?” however the blue haired boy did not respond. Instead he turned the page.
“Um, Xingqiu? you there?”
Xingqiu looked up from his book “Oh Chongyun, what perfect timing I need to travel to Mondstadt to find a new book they published, and I was wondering if you could accompany me on the way there!” Xingqiu looked at Chongyun with expectant eyes “Alright fine, I’ll go with you.”
As they were walking over the bridge to get on the path They spotted Hu Tao chasing Qiqi “Come on Qiqi just let me help you!” “noooo Qiqi doesn't wanna go awayyyyy…” Qiqi ran over to Chongyun and hid behind him “Yun-Yun, save me from Hu Tao…” the small child grabbed Chongyun’s leg as he sighed “Hu Tao, really? You really need to stop with this. You’ve tormented her so many times she remembered to hide when you came near her so why do you still chase her?”
“Well Chongyun, it's just the fact that I have yet to grant her eternal peace, it’s as simple as that!” Hu Tao said, clearly hiding something.
Chongyun sighed “Well I guess we're taking her with us, come on Qiqi,” Qiqi looked up at Chongyun “Ok… Where are we going..?” Chongyun picked Qiqi up and put her on his shoulders “We’re going to Mondstadt because Someone can’t wait a few days for a book to get in” Chongyun looked at Xingqiu, “Hey don't blame me! It’s the last volume of my book!” Xingqiu said, looking Flustered. They walked away while Qiqi played with Chongyuns hair “...Soft…”
