Chapter Text
Days until the D-day: 3
"Now!" George rushed through the driveway towards Wilbur's car, sliding in the passenger seat and smiling innocently at him as the noise of two other doors getting slammed in the backseat along with shallow breaths filled the air. Wilbur, not having the chance to even let go off his seatbelt, sighed and buckled it again.
"What did you three think of now?" Wilbur said in an even tone, sounding like an exasperated mother and turning, taking a look at each of them. "And why are you wearing an elf hat?"
George turned to look at his boyfriend aka the man with the hat who grinned proudly and shook his head so that the bell at the tip would jingle. Smiling, George exchanged looks with Niki who looked equally amused even though his carried much more affection for the sight though. Dream in an elf hat was adorable, ok?
"Keeping the Christmas spirit alive." He shrugged and reached for the seatbelt, gesturing at Niki to do the same. George had already put his one on and waited patiently for Wilbur to start the car again.
"It didn't even get a chance to die." Wilbur pointed out and turned, turning the key and putting the heating back on. "Where to?"
"Good." Dream leaned over and flicked the back of Wilbur's head before quickly leaning back, out of his reach. With all the tension behind them, they quickly jumped from strangers to a sibling-like relationship from Wilbur spending most of the time over, along with Niki, and George was thrilled to see it. And in that short time offered to jump Wilbur and Niki's parents about ten times. George offered the other ten. And Clair about fifteen.
"Walmart, we need party supplies." George answered the second question, catching Wilbur's attention back who had tried to get back his scarf which he used to try and attack Dream. Which of course ensued a tugging match. Niki cheered on no one in particular and George laughed at their antics before attempting to explain further.
"We-..." But his voice was drowned in chaos.
"You almost got my eye!" Dream said and turned to George, pointing at Wilbur. "He tried to blind me."
"Can we leave him?" Wilbur said and tossed the scarf to Niki who hadn't been expecting anything to be projected in her direction. "At least put this on since you're stupid enough to not bring a hat. At least Dream has that on his head."
"It's stylish. " Dream said and put one hand on each side before putting them down just as fast. Wilbur glared at Niki until she snuggled herself in the scarf before turning to Dream.
"You look ridiculous and I can't believe I have to get out in public with you in it." Wilbur said and finally sat properly, leaving the driveway he didn't even get a chance to step on.
"It's Walmart." Niki said as if that answered everything. "He'll definitely have a tough competition."
"Can't argue with that." Wilbur gestured vaguely at George to go on as he exited on the road. "Didn't Dream's friends offer to buy alcohol since they saved on the tickets?"
"Yes but that's not our mission for today's shopping anyway." George made a circular motion with his fingers, glancing at Niki and Dream. "We've been bored while you were out and decided to throw a themed New Year's party which means we need other supplies."
"Isn't New Year's the theme enough?" Wilbur asked and they all turned to him with equally unimpressed expressions which he caught looking at the rear view mirror and smirking. "Kidding! What did you come up with?"
"Ok so it's about costumes." George said and Wilbur nodded before George turned to Niki. "Brains of the operation, please explain."
"Of course it's her idea." Wilbur said but a small smile appeared on his lips. Niki ignored his comment and leaned forward to explain. George's eyes locked with Dream, noticing the sound of the bell which jumped as they drove and they almost burst out laughing. Dream turned towards the window to contain himself so that he wouldn't interrupt Niki and George turned towards the front to do the same.
"Here's what I'm thinking...wordplay costumes. For example guitar hero. You put on a shirt with a batman logo or something and a guitar over your torso and voila, mission accomplished. Catch my drift?"
"Alright…that's actually a pretty solid idea." Wilbur nodded and pointed at Dream with his thumb. "Is he already dressed as s-elf-esteem?"
"Oh my God!" The trio yelled at the same time, thrilling smiles shining on their faces. Wilbur laughed at their reaction as they gushed over it.
"That was good!" Dream said, massaging Wilbur's shoulders before leaving him to focus back on the road. "Ok, so mine is settled."
"I can't believe your idiocy got you an idea." George said and Dream winked at him, clearly happy he doesn't have to think of an idea for the costume. George looked to Niki and then to Wilbur before speaking. "Alright so we're left to decide what we should be."
"Mother nature!" Niki raised a hand as if she was in class, smiling. "I just need to wear something referring to nature and grab one of those baby dolls and I'm good."
"I hate you." George said over his shoulder, earning her laugh in return. Then they looked at Wilbur who was the only other person in the car without an idea. "And then there were two."
"Maybe we'll get inspired as we look around." Wilbur offered and George nodded, already looking around for inspiration. "You two are free to help."
"Nah, I'm good." Niki said, making her brother roll his eyes.
"I'm good too." Dream said and both George and Wilbur huffed in response.
"You didn't even think of yours!" George pointed out.
"Maybe but I did choose to wear this hat so I pretty much did have a part in generating the idea." Dream shook his head again and blew a kiss in response to George's middle finger that was still up between the front seats.
"It's okay." Wilbur said and George raised an eyebrow in surprise, expecting a different answer from him. Niki and Dream froze in their spots too. "He only has one usage of a braincell a day and he already filled today's quota."
"There it is." George said before laughing.
"I'd punch you but I'd rather avoid dying in a car crash. " Dream said before leaning in as much as he could. "Beware for later though."
He wiggled his fingers as he sat back, making them all laugh at his ridiculousness.
---
Dream was well aware of the stares he got as he walked around with an elf hat, almost the same shade of green as the parts of his hair, on his head matched with an otherwise perfectly normal outfit, surrounded by a group who pretended to not notice it. Well except for Wilbur who got smacked in the face with it a couple times. First two were completely accidental, caused by him quickly turning because he saw something interesting. Wilbur just happened to be standing on his left. Other two, however, were just for the fun of it.
"I'm gonna make you walk back." Wilbur threatened, trying to grab the hat but Dream stepped back, happily laughing.
"Ok, ok. I'll stop." Spoiler alert, he didn't. Ten minutes later, deep into the garden section (don't ask), the same thing happened and this time, Wilbur picked up something very well usable as a weapon.
"Oh? Wilbur got himself a hoe." George said somewhere behind Dream while Niki slapped a bag of dirt. She looked up and gave a thumbs up.
"Finally getting bitches. Good job!" They laughed as Dream walked into the rows of plants.
"First off, where are your bitches?" Wilbur nudged his chin at his sister before pointing with the hoe at the dirtbags. "Second off, why are you violating dirt?"
"It's like flour bags. Or watermelons" She straightened up. "You just have to slap them."
"Or Dream." Wilbur said, turning back to him and he gave him the sweetest smile but not moving to come out.
"Let's not focus on the past." Dream waved him off. "Let's focus on the future aka what the hell are you two gonna wear. Also, we should probably inform everyone else."
"You didn't tell them?" Wilbur said, putting the hoe in its place and leaning on the shopping cart.
"Well we just kinda rushed out when we got the idea and it was only a few minutes before you were supposed to come so…" Niki explained.
"You three are the Bermuda triangle for brainpower." Wilbur said and shook his head. Dream smiled before turning to George.
"Text the-..." He began but George already knew what he meant to say.
"...group chats, I know." George typed the messages as Niki joined Dream's side and looked at the plants.
"Need one, mother nature?" He asked and she turned to smile.
"Nah, I don't want to harm the plants by bringing them to a party." She shook her head. "I just wanted to see what they have. I've been looking into them more recently because the apartment back at my uni town is too empty."
"You're live alone or?" He asked, following behind her as she walked down the row.
"With a roommate." She explained and tapped gently on a leaf of one of the taller plants. Dream immediately smirked as she laughed. "No double meaning. We are just roommates."
"But…" He teased, putting the hands behind his back and lowering himself.
"But I may or may not be crushing on them." She said and Dream giggled victoriously.
"Knew it." He turned to George who was now holding a spraying bottle for whatever reason and made spraying sounds at Wilbur. "It could turn out pretty great."
"Whipped." She said and Dream shrugged, not denying it. He was very much ridiculously in love with George and lucky enough to be able to call him his. "Let's go, there's still a lot of stuff to buy."
She hooked her arm around his and they made their way back to the duo that kept throwing random words at each other in hopes to generate an idea.
Days until the D-day: 2
It was eight in the morning and George was tired. Niki was dozing off in her waiting spot and Wilbur was on a coffee run. Were they ordered to get up early after a long night of them playing drinking games? No they weren't but they insisted that they should come along. So now here they were. And the only functional morning person, Dream, kept checking his phone to see if there were any new messages from Sapnap, Karl or Quackity. Nothing so far.
"How about you sit down?" George offered, sunken into his chair. Dream turned to him and walked over to kiss him on the top of the head before placing another soft kiss on his lips.
"You could've stayed home too." He said and straightened up. "They didn't need a whole army."
"I wanted to." He shrugged. "They wanted to too."
They looked over to Niki who snuggled closer to George and Wilbur appeared just in time with four cups in his hands. Alongside Dream, he looked very put together considering lack of sleep and hangover.
"Yours and yours." He gave one to Dream and one to George before shaking Niki awake. "Oi, sleeping beauty. Coffee's here."
At the mention of coffee her eyes opened and she took a moment to gather her surroundings before taking it and sitting up. She looked up at Dream as she warmed her hands on the cup.
"Any news?"
"Nothing yet." He checked his phone again just in case. "Yeah, nothing."
"They should be here soon." George said after swallowing a sip, happy for the slightly bitter taste on his tongue. "There's three suitcases to gather plus it's snowing so landing needed to be done extra carefully. Come sit down."
"Should I be worried?" Wilbur interjected, noticing Dream's growing worry even though they're only five minutes over their estimated landing time. Distraction worked because Dream now looked confused instead.
"About what?" Dream asked and looked over to George for a second before Wilbur spoke again, pointing at himself.
"Asshole ex." He said and smirked and they laughed. "I'm sure they heard about me so if I'm about to get jumped I'd like a little forewarning. I was already subjected to elf hat torture so I'd say I paid for my sins."
"You make it sound like you had to wear it." Dream said and stood up, grabbing the tip of Wilbur beanie and pulling it up. "We could recreate it."
"God forbid." He said and slapped Dream's hands away, making him laugh. George smiled and exchanged looks with Niki, both leaning towards each other and letting their heads rest together. "But seriously? Should I figure out all available escape routes?"
He looked around, pointing at a couple and Dream laughed.
"Don't worry, you're not getting jumped." Dream said and turned to George who lifted a thumbs up in confirmation.
"You live." He smiled before continuing. "I told them that we settled everything and that even Dream is buddy-buddy with you now so they don't need to commit a crime."
"And don't worry, no personal stuff was revealed." Dream said, referring mainly to homophobic grandparents and potentially homophobic parents. Even though, they at least tried to reach both Niki and Wilbur. But both decided they needed to call them with a fully decided mind which meant Niki came out too. George was incredibly proud of both of them and George's parents offered bedrooms for as long as they'd like to stay. It was a good thing it was spacious because soon there will be fourteen people in it.
"Ok, good." Wilbur nodded before smiling gently. "Thank you."
"I'm hotter anyway." Dream joked and cleared his throat, looking ahead while Wilbur snorted.
"So full of yourself."
"Hey, I got George." He grinned and George rolled his eyes.
"You are the trophy husband, not me." George said, making Niki laugh. "Know your place."
"You tell him king." She said and lifted her hand for a high five. "Is that them?"
"What?" George and Dream said in unison, turning toward the gate out of which stepped three familiar figures.
"That's them." George said and stood up.
---
"Do you guys not know how to use phones?" Dream stepped out of the group towards them, not missing their curious looks at Niki and Wilbur who stood behind George. Sapnap reached him first and they immediately hugged, happy to see each other. He really missed his dumbass best friend even though it hasn't been that long since they left.
"Mine's dead." Sapnap said as he stepped back to let Quackity attack him with a hug. Dream laughed at sudden pressure and hugged him back.
"Hello, Nightmare. I told Karl to text you 'cus the only thing I could focus on was the need for a bathroom." He grinned up at him before letting go and looking at George, immediately rushing over to hug him. Dream grinned at their overly enthusiastic greeting, filled with spins and cheers. Wilbur and Niki watched it happen with amused looks.
"And I forgot." Karl admitted and took his hug too. His bright jacket stood out in the monochrome look of the airport. He shrugged before looking behind Dream. Sapnap had already joined the screaming duo so Dream figured he was going to rush over as well but his eyes landed on Wilbur instead. He lowered his voice even though Wilbur couldn't hear him from where they stood. "Is that the ex?"
"That's him." Dream said, looking over to Wilbur who met his eyes and offered a nod. Neither he nor Niki didn't know what to do so they just awkwardly sipped their coffee until Sapnap or Quackity asked them something.
"Nice." He grinned and pushed his suitcase into Dream's hands before walking away to join the rest. "I told you!"
Dream decided to stand next to Wilbur as everyone turned to Karl.
"I hate you." Quackity said, pulled out a 10 dollar bill and handed it to Karl, followed by Sapnap doing the same.
"Love you too, babe." He placed a kiss on their cheeks before turning to Wilbur and grinning at him. Wilbur glanced at Dream before focusing back on Karl.
"Hello?" He offered and Karl pulled him into a hug before he could even register him moving. "Oh! OK, this is happening."
"Thank you for being just the type of hot I expected." Karl stepped back and offered a hand to Niki to shake. "Karl."
"Niki." She said, still laughing at Wilbur's reaction.
"Have I mentioned they have little to no filter?" Dream said and looked at Wilbur who laughed, shaking his head.
"Not the greeting I expected but it's definitely better than getting punched." He shrugged and Dream laughed.
"That's true."
"Gogy!" Karl then attacked George who had to be blocked by Quackity from behind to not get thrown on the floor by Karl's force. "How's waking up before noon?"
"Absolute hell." George said, genuine hatred towards it showing. Dream shook his head, fighting the urge to go over and let him snuggle into his chest. His rosy cheeks looked very welcoming for a kiss but now's not the time.
"Let me take that." Wilbur offered to Quackity who happily handed him one of the bags he was carrying and strolled on with one burden less. Sapnap had two as well but refused to give Dream one.
"Stop being stubborn." Dream said, tugging on the belt but Sapnap just kept moving out of his reach. He shook his head as a child and held one hand in front of himself.
"Stay back." Dream rolled his eyes. "My bags."
"The purple one isn't even yours." Dream pointed out. "It's Karl's and I'm already dealing with his suitcase."
"Exactly, you don't need more." Sapnap said and sped up in his pace which Dream easily matched due to the height and less weight on his shoulders.
"Alright, what bet did you three make?" Dream said and raised an eyebrow in question. They were the farthest away and Wilbur and Quackity had already found a shared topic to talk about while at the head were George, Niki and Karl who was in the process of explaining something and making them both laugh. Both of his hands were free since the back duo had them.
"What? Nothing?" Sapnap said and Dream just started at the side of his head until he sighed, slightly giving in. "I'm not supposed to tell you."
"Best friend is always an exception to no telling rule." Dream said and nudged him. "Now speak."
"In short, you are not to touch these bags." He stopped and placed hands on the material before continuing on. "I have to carry them all the way to our room. Rooms? Are we sharing?"
"Yes, you guys are sharing." Dream said in an obvious tone. They had mentioned they were a poly couple to George's parents and they just nodded and picked the room with the biggest bed to be theirs. "And fine. But there's no rule about the suitcase?"
Sapnap thought and grinned, wheeling it over so that Dream could take it. They laughed and exited the airport, cold air hitting them.
"Jesus Christ!" Quackity's voice reached them and everyone laughed at his reaction towards the cold.
"You missed him by a bit actually." Wilbur said. "His birthday just passed."
His joke earned a good reaction out of them as they continued on towards the cars, now already coated with a thin layer of snow.
"All yours or do you want to split?" Wilbur lowered the handle into the suitcase and looked at Dream who then looked at his friends. It's their stuff, so it's their choice.
"These two bags and my suitcase Dream's." Sapnap said and pointed at them . "The rest Wilbur's. Good?"
"Sounds good." Quackity shrugged.
"Don't care, didn't ask, I want the heating." Karl said and jumped in spot, waiting for Dream to unlock his car.
"You lived in the north, shouldn't you be acclimatized to the cold?" George asked, walking over to Wilbur's car. He looked at Dream for confirmation and nodded, understanding he's giving him some alone time with his best friends.
"It was very warm in the airport and now bam! Cold." He then taped the window with the tip of his nails. "Dreamie boy!"
"Quackity seems to handle it well and he lived in mostly warm areas all his life." Dream refused to open up, amused by his friend's desperation. Sapnap laughed but had already covered the lower part of his face with a scarf.
"He has like ten layers on!" Karl said and whined. "Dream-uh!"
"To be fair I told you about the weather and you said 'hat's gonna ruin my hair and gloves are for wussies' so…" Quackity said and grabbed a piece of Karl's hair between his fingers. "Now your hair is wet and you're gonna catch a cold."
"I won't if Dream …" Karl began but Dream laughed and took mercy on him, unlocking the door.
"Go on, my poor child." Karl cheered, grabbed Quackity's hand and pulled them both on the backseat.
"Good to know they know their place." Sapnap joked as he very carefully placed the bags into the trunk, making Dream now really wonder what's inside them. Instead of voicing that, he looked over at his friend suggestively.
"You did get a car recently." Dream pointed out and earned a smack on the back of his head, making him bump against the trunk's door which he was in the process of closing. He groaned at the attack from both sides, letting the door slam.
"Deserved, you pervert." Sapnap smirked before pointing and laughing when he noticed a red line on Dream's forehead. "You've been marked."
"Didn't recognize you, you saint." Dream pushed him playfully and started walking towards the driver's side while Sapnap followed him from the passengers.
"Well what I meant was that I, the og, deserve the passenger seat." Sapnap said over the car top, helping Dream remove the fallen snow.
"What you deserve is to be left here in the parking lot." Dream said and smirked, sliding into the seat, again followed by Sapnap on the other side. Even their door slams matched. They looked at each other and laughed.
"You should've left him." Quackity said and Sapnap attacked him with an ice scraper while Karl looked unbothered by the violence, singing to himself as he scrolled on his phone.
"Look who knows how to use a phone now." Dream teased, laughing as Karl mockingly repeated the sentence. As he turned the key, Wilbur's car was already leaving the parking space and he gave him the middle finger as he passed in front of him. Dream shook his head with a smile and then noticed Sapnap watching him.
"So…you're really cool with him?" He asked and Dream nodded. They didn't have the key information that connected him to Wilbur so it wasn't surprising that Sapnap wondered if Dream was just faking it for George's sake.
"We talked and we're similar in a lot of ways so we connected easily." He wasn't speaking that loud but has grabbed everyone's attention now. They didn't look like they judged him but instead wondered if he's really OK with his boyfriend's ex being so close.
"Didn't try anything?" Karl asked and Dream shook head as he exited on the main road, noticing Wilbur's car turning on a roundabout.
"No. They both got the ending they needed and they're cool. I trust him and I know George loves me so what should I worry about?" He fully meant it. Wilbur probably still had some feelings for George considering he confessed only a few days ago but it was obvious he was keeping that to himself and moving past it. Besides, he also has bigger things to worry about.
"What a cool man." Quackity teased, referring to him. They laughed, showing their worry is gone and they don't mind the dynamics. "And I gotta say, he does seem pretty cool judging from the short conversation we just had."
"He earned me 20 bucks so I adore the man." Karl joked, blowing a kiss at his boyfriends who mourned the loss of a bet and money.
"What did you two even talk about?" Sapnap asked, turning to be able to see Quackity.
"University." He said. "I mentioned I study law, he said that he's studying politics so we went on a whole spree about how much reading we're doing and how many essays we have to write."
"Ah yes, trauma bonding." Karl snapped his fingers and then laughed while avoiding Quackity's playful slap.
"Not everyone can watch movies and call that studying." Quackity said, referring to Karl's film major.
"It's called analysis and symbolism research." Karl used the most educational voice he could muster, making them laugh.
"What part of analysis does crying over Mufasa's death fall into?" Sapnap asked and Karl pointed a warning finger at him.
"You cried too, don't even try me." He said before leaning back and continuing. "And it falls under dialogue and action dynamic and how it affects the watcher."
"You tell him, king!" Dream cheered him on. "Don't let a man getting a business degree tell you shit."
"Wow!" Sapnap mocked offense.
"Yeah!" Karl clapped at Dream's comment while Quackity was shaking with laughter.
"At least I'm not crying on the regular over my degree unlike someone. " Sapnap got into his face so Dream dropped one hand from the steering wheel to push him back into his seat.
"You generational wealth bitch." Dream joked, smiling from the familiarity of their friendship dynamic. He's so glad that he's getting to spend the last week of holidays with them.
"Hey, it's paying for your education too." Sapnap shrugged and Dream nodded, unable to deny it. He still felt guilty about it but Sapnap, and his parents, would attack him if he even tried to voice he's feeling like a burden about it.
"Can't deny that." He said before switching the topic. "Are you guys ready to meet everyone?"
"Yes!" They said in unison with childlike excitement.
"Oh I can't wait to see Clair." Karl said, sounding like he's meeting a celebrity and Dream would argue that that's the very adequate attitude. Clair, even though she refused to openly admit it, looked excited that they're coming as well. He was sure she was gonna show up at the airport as well.
"And we need to thank John for the tickets." Quackity remindeded and the duo nodded.
"And both parents for letting us stay over." Sapnap added like they were making a list. Dream noticed they looked a bit nervous, probably because they wanted to make a good impression for Dream's sake. It was endearing and it made his chest warm.
"They're all chill so if you're a decent human, they'll love you." Dream explained and took a turn, now the only cars on the road were Wilbur's and his. Niki waved from the backseat and Sapnap and Quackity enthusiastically returned it while Karl was busy looking at the castle-like restaurant.
"Look how cool it is!" He said and the two's attention immediately switched.
"Yo!" Sapnap grinned. "It looks badass. Especially with the snow cowering it."
"Is that the restaurant you went to?" Quackity asked and Dream nodded in confirmation.
"Yep, I could ask everyone to go again if you'd like. I'm sure they'd be happy too but you'll have to dress up since it's a fancy restaurant." Dream explained. "And the food's amazing ."
"You're asking." Sapnap decided.
"I know Karl's settled because his regular style can look very fancy 'but do you two have anything wearable?" Dream asked, glancing quickly at Sapnap and Quackity.
"The disrespect." Sapnap said, shaking his head.
"I made him grab something fancy just in case because I wanted us to be prepared." Quackity explained. "Sapnap has a suit from some wedding he attended and I have fancy jeans, black button up and a coat. And Karl's always ready so yeah we're good."
"What would they do without you?" Dream asked and Quackity smiled.
"Honestly? Probably die." He said. "Listen to what they did yesterday."
"Don't." Sapnap groaned.
"Stop!" Karl followed and Dream got intrigued.
"Oh? Do tell." He smirked and laughed as Sapnap pulled the scarf over his head to hide his face and Karl sank further into his seat. Quackity looked even more thrilled to tell the story based on their reactions. Giggling to himself, he began to explain.
"Let me set the scene." He lifted his hands and moved them in the shape of a half circle.
"I want to jump out of this car." Sapnap muttered before Quackity continued.
"It was nine in the morning, slightly raining and I went out to grab some drinks since my parents were coming to visit us in an hour or so." His smile then got bigger and Dream could already guess where this was going.
"Earth open up." Karl said, head in his hands.
"These two were in charge of making the food, right?" Dream eyebrows shot up just as Sapnap fake cried.
"Oh, no." Dream's face was beaming despite his words.
"Oh, yes." Quackity matched the expression and they laughed. "So there I was, innocently walking in with drinks and parents by my side, expecting the food to be on the table and them ready to meet them."
"Unlock the door." Sapnap said, already pulling on the handle.
"Or the window." Karl offered instead.
"Not happening." Dream said before focusing back on Quackity. "Go on, kind sir."
"Instead of that idealistic sight, what welcomed us was them holding a pan out of the window which was scorching by the way." Cue groans by the men in charge. "And you know what water does to oil fire?"
"Ignites it more." Dream said.
"Ignites it more." Quackity repeated in confirmation, laughing. Sapnap looked about ready to strangle himself with the scarf he was wearing so Dream reached over to push it off of his face. "Apparently they tried regular water, which obviously didn't work and then panicked and just held the pan out in hopes that the rain water would extinguish it."
"Isn't it basic knowledge that you just wet the towel and placed it over?" Dream asked Sapnap muttered something he couldn't quite catch.
"We panicked!" Karl argued, making both Dream and Quackity laugh more.
"That's not all though." Quackity said, clapping once. "When we entered, we startled them and Sapnap-… "
"I crave death." Sapnap said, crossing his arms over his chest.
"... dropped the pan while Karl smacked his head against the window and that was my parent's first impression of my boyfriends."
"Oh my God, that was beautiful." Dream said, laughing at the story while Karl and Sapnap pouted in their seats.
"Right? Luckily, my parents found it hilarious and only teased them about it." Quackity said and leaned to give a quick kiss on Karl and Sapnap's cheeks. "Don't worry, after we got take out, everything went smoothly."
"I feel actual physical pain everytime I think back to it." Sapnap said before looking up and his eyes widened, his mood immediately switching.
"Look at that!" Sapnap pointed, referring to the mansion and gaped. Karl and Quackity were leaned on the edges of the front seats, looking in similar amazement.
"That's huge!" Quackity said as Dream stopped in front of it, behind Wilbur's car.
"That's what she said." Karl said before unbuckling himself. Wilbur, Niki and George were already in the process of carrying the luggage up the stairs.
"It's time, boys." Dream said and they exited the car. He smirked before they stepped inside the house, turning to Sapnap, again in charge of two mysterious bags, and Karl who took Sapnap's suitcase this time. Quackity already entered the house, talking to George in the hall. "Please leave your pans outside."
Dream smirked and Quackity turned back to them, laughing.
"I'm not leaving Karl outside to freeze." Sapnap said, ignoring the real reason for the comment and entering the house. Dream closed the door after everyone entered and George smirked at Karl and Sapnap while Quackity looked proud of himself. Looks like George was caught up on the story as well.
"I should say you're free to use the kitchen anytime but I guess it's better if I don't." George said and Karl and Sapnap both gave them a middle finger.
"I hope you die a violent death."
"I hope Dream's dick stops working and you can never get laid again."
Sapnap and then Karl expressed their threats, not noticing the rest of the family walking into the entrance area.
"Quite creative." John said, amused by them and Sapnap and Karl froze in spot before they turned and noticed everyone heard that.
"Oh for fuck's sake."
They said in unison, making everyone laugh with their misfortune of first impressions.
