Summary
George gives him a sheepish look. He had been away from his friends for a long time.
Something makes him pause as he gets a closer look at Quackity, now that they’ve stopped moving about, he notices the difference in his appearance. The man looks older, yet nothing could extinguish the playful glint in his eyes.
Though, George realises it’s more just a single eye.
One of them is now pale and glazed over slightly. Less telling of Quackity’s true intent, his expressive joy obscured.“Wait- What happened to your eye?! You have a massive scar!”
Quackity brings a tentative hand up to his face as he flashes George a big grin. Now with eyes adjusted to the falling darkness, the scar is more obvious, trailing cleanly from his eyebrow in a sharp line to his lip. It would almost be hideous if it wasn’t Quackity, George thinks.
George runs into a familiar yet different face while by Pandora's Vault.

Summary
Karl has a sudden outburst after Sapnap askes him if he will attend the Red Banquet with him, insisting they stay home.
This leaves Sapnap feeling alone as he wanders through Kinoko, thinking on all he has had to put aside and lost.

Summary
Karl nodded absently as he staggered down the last hazardous steps into the hall. He recoiled instantly at the sudden heat. He stepped backwards, bumping straight into Sapnap’s chest, who protectively put an arm around him and pushed him back. Lava rained down from the roof and the temperature was unbearable.
A netherite sword found its place in Sapnap’s hand as he stepped forward, the demon hybrid unaffected by the heat.
“Stay back Karl, something’s not right.”
Sapnap and Karl Jacobs are surprised by what they find after arriving late to the Red Banquet. Worried for their friend, George, who went ahead of them, they hurry home.
