Chapter Text
1. The idea for this fanfiction came to me while watching The School Nurse Files. A student questions the nature of the main characters' relationship and cue to me writing the first chapter of The Strange Case.
2. I chose Wonwoo as the ex-husband randomly x) he wasn't even supposed to appear!
3. This is probably the story that has been posted the most regularly on this account ^^'
4. I decided early on that Mina and Nawon would not end up together; I didn't want to fit into that cliché (the bully × the victim trope). Also, I wanted Nawon to be the one to reject Mina at all costs to show that she is aware of the seriousness of her past actions!
5. You probably guessed it but Jihan is my favorite character x) which one is yours?
6. Besides The School Nurse Files, I also wanted to show that you can write a story that takes place in a high school without making the students the center of attention!
7. I made Jeonghan a divorcee on a whim. Do I regret it now? No! But did I regret it at one point? Definitely yes :')
8. Jeonghan was supposed to meet Seungcheol's parents but I didn't see how to insert him in a natural way in the story. Anyway, you should know that this meeting would have been particularly chaotic!
9. Originally, Seokmin was supposed to torture Seungcheol, but in the end I chose Joshua because: did I really write this story if Joshua isn't a bit mean?
10. After much pleading, Mina agreed to introduce her brother (Soonyoung) to Seungkwan and Seokmin. It was love at first sight ;)

Jeonghan had always considered himself lucky. Sure, he hadn't had the easiest life in the world, but it had clearly been sweeter than others’. When he left the capital to move to a small coastal town in South Korea, not much made sense in his life. Then he had made friends, and a boyfriend... and he had been accepted into the university of his choice and everything seemed to be coming together. Contrary to what he had thought, going back to Seoul had not been an easy experience. He was living alone, the classes were difficult and he was tired all the time. But Seungcheol, his boyfriend had been there for him; so he was still happy. They were always happy.
Five years later and freshly graduated, he and Seungcheol had returned home to enjoy the sea air. And Jeonghan took the opportunity to propose to him.
Naturally, Seungcheol said yes.
And five more years later, they were divorced.
