Chapter Text

White was majorly fucked.

Gram’s back was to him and they were tied together by someone who knew what they were doing. Black vaguely wondered again if this was another set up by the gang to test his loyalty.

But when Gram murmured under his breath, “they’ve both got guns,” he knew it must not be a game. “Black, are you up?”

“Yeah I’m up.”

“Are you hurt?”

Gram had the heart of  a saint. And if White was anyone else he might’ve found it easy to fall in love with someone like him.

But Gram was his brother’s… something. What was he supposed to do? It’s not like he could just google ‘how to impersonate your twin in his anti-capitalist motorcycle gang without having to kiss his jealous boyfriend,” on Google.

He’d already kissed Eugene for information. He couldn’t do that to Gram. Especially not in front of Sean.

Sean.

That was a whole ‘nother level of why White was fucked.

White had hated Sean at first. At first all they would do was fight and White was fine with that. It seemed like all Sean and Black did was fight so it was perfect. But somewhere between the verbal and physical sparring matches White began to care about him.

What was worse was that Gram was noticing White’s unfortunate growing attraction for Sean.

“I’m not hurt,” White whispered. “Are you?”

“My head feels a little banged up but besides that I’m fine. Can you reach my back pocket? I think I’ve got a switchblade in there.”

White shifted, “I think so, yeah.”

He reached for the pocket. Gripping the edge of it between his fingers to pull it closer.

When he slipped his hand in Gram’s back pocket to grab the switchblade he felt Gram tense up.

“Oh,” Gram said with an air of breathiness.

“Did I hurt you?”

“In what way?”

“With the switchblade?”

“No,” Gram said, his voice returning to normal. “Not with the switchblade.

Oh.

White was majorly fucked.

“What do you think you’re doing?”

Gram froze as a man grabbed Black’s hand containing the switchblade. He bent it at a strange angle and Black immediately yelped out in pain, dropping their only means of escape.

Another of the men bent down to Black’s level. Grasping his face and squishing it, bringing it close to his.

“It’s a shame we’ve got to rough you up. Such a pretty face.”

“Get away from him!” Gram shouted, wriggling in his constraints.

The man who held Black’s face turned to him. “What? Is he your boyfriend?”

“Yeah he is, you fucker. What are you going to do about it?”

He grinned and Gram knew he fucked up.

“What do you say boss? Can I have some fun with this one before you screw him up.”

“What do you want from us?” Black asked.

The man who held the switchblade spoke, “well I wanted information on a friend of yours, Todd. His business has been interfering with ours. But it seems my friend here has other plans for that pretty little mouth of yours.”

Black looked scandalized.

“We don’t know a Todd,” Gram interjected. “He’s not one of ours. So why don’t you let us go before we rat you out to someone who’ll make you regret crossing our paths.”

The man with the switchblade grinned and pocketed it. “It seems your boyfriend hasn’t told you everything about his life. Did you even know he had a brother in Russia?”

Black’s eyes widened, “how did you know that?”

“Like I said, our problem is with Todd, we know all about him and his associates.”

“You didn’t tell me you had a brother,” Gram said under his breath.

“Can we talk about that later?” Black snapped.

“If you won’t tell us anything about Todd, then—”

“Depends, what do you want to know?” Black interrupted.

Gram shouldn’t have been surprised that Black knew what the men who kidnapped them were talking about. Black was always surprising him.

So why did Gram feel so out of the loop, useless.

Betrayed.

Switchblade grinned.

“Sai, I’m gonna keep this one. But you can go have fun with his boyfriend. He doesn’t need to be here for this.”

Switchblade, Sai, grinned maliciously.

Sai let go of White’s face and hauled Gram to his feet.

“No! Wait!” White wrestled against his restraints. “I said I’d tell you! Let him go!”

“Isn’t that funny, he thinks he’s the one in control.”

Gram then said something to him and it took a second to realize he wasn’t speaking Thai. “не волнуйся, все будет хорошо.”

Don’t worry, everything is going to be fine.

Since when did Gram know Russian?

Since when had Black learned Russian? White was always their father’s favorite so when their parents split it was only natural that White be the one to leave Thailand at his father’s side.

Had Black been planning on joining them one day?

White watched as Gram was led into another room.

He turned to the remaining man. “What do you know about Todd?”

“I was hoping that you could answer that question for me?”

“He’s an idiot, but he’s my friend.”

“And how well do you know your friend?”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“He’s been colluding with some of your old Russian associates.”

“Are you saying Todd’s been chatting up some communists? It isn’t illegal.”

“It is if you’re selling national secrets to them.”

White immediately felt sick to his stomach. He wasn’t sure he trusted that Gram had a plan. But he sure hoped he did.

As if on cue he heard a cry from the other room.

“WHAT THE F—”

The man was cut off by Gram racing out of the room, free from restraints and barreling the man questioning White, who fell to the ground and hit his head on a pipe. Gram’s hands flew to White’s restraints beginning to undo the knots.

“Come on!”

White rubbed his wrists.

“How did you—”

“That doesn’t matter.”

“Did you kill him?”

“What? No, I didn't kill him.”

White exhaled.

“He tried to force me to blow him though,”

White’s cheek went a bright pink. The knots around his wrist came loose and he shook them off.

“Did you?”

“What? No,” Gram said obviously. “I bit it, he passed out. Easy peasy.”

White paused. “You… bit? It?”

“I did it to save you.”

“... Gram what the fuck.”

“What do you mean ‘what the fuck’? I did it ‘cause I love you and didn’t want that fucker to take advantage of you.”

White licked his lips nervously, “Gram, I have to tell you something.”

“Can it wait? We’re kinda—.”

“Gram, shut the fuck up, this is important.”

“Can we escape first and then you curse me out?”

“I’M NOT BLACK!”
