Chapter Text
Dear Neil,
I'm getting weaker and it's getting hard to write as the days pass.
I'm old now, what can I say?
Everyday seems like I'm getting a little bit closer to you.
But in someway I've always been.
I can't wait to tell you about the beauty of life,
I just wish you would've been here to experience it with me.
We would've been able to get married if we wanted to.
See you soon, love
- Todd
These were only three of the hundreds of letters Todd had written to Neil throughout his life,
till his last day till he had to return to dust.
He was the first to go of the 6 poets and when the last remaining attended his funeral,
two birds had sung a melancholy song as they sat by the two headstones that read;
'Here lies Neil Perry 1942-1959
Carpe Diem'
and beside him
'Here rests Todd Anderson 1942-1959
Seize The Day'
Charlie was adamant that it was the two and everyone was quiet but knew deep down it was them.
