Chapter Text
"Okay guys. Take five." Thomas reset the camera.
"Ugh..." Virgil shifted back to normal. "I can only make my voice that gravelly for so long."
"You only had three lines, Virgil. Your part was significantly smaller than ours." Logan pointed out.
"Indeed." Roman huffed. "How hard do you think it is to stand like this the whole time?"
Patton chuckled. "Now kiddos. We all have challenges with this part."
"Yeah, I guess." Virgil grabbed his water bottle.
Thomas grinned. "Cheer up. We're almost done here."
"Then we can have those cookies Patton made?"
Thomas nodded. "Yes, yes. Then you can have the cookies."
"Yes! They smell so good!"
"That they do." Roman looked over hungrily.
Thomas chuckled. "Then let's do this one more time, then take that cookie break."
"I'll give my best performance yet!" Virgil grinned.
"Alright! From the top. One, two...What is up everybody?!"
Crash!
Everyone froze, Janus looking up from where he sat on the couch, out of sight from the camera.
Thomas turned his head, then glanced to the others.
"That came from upstairs..." Virgil gulped.
Logan made his way over, Janus following. Roman summoned his sword and joined them, Thomas following behind with Patton and Virgil. Then they started up the stairs, tense as another shattering sound was heard.
Roman gripped his sword tighter, taking the lead. Then he rushed to the door, then slowly pushed it open.
Shards of glass were scattered across the floor, surrounding a person standing with his back facing them, wearing the most ridiculous outfit with green ruffles and sash. He had one hand on his hip and a loud crunching sound was heard.
He stared, the door opening wider. "Remus?"
He turned around, perking up like a dog being called, a shard of glass in his hand. He looked at their shocked faces, smiled, and took a bite out of the glass as if it were one of the cookies downstairs before holding out the rest of the glass towards them. "Wanna bite?"
