Inked Rose

Chapter 2: Spilled Ink

Summary:

This is S tier's side after the last chapter ended. Apologies for it being a bit shorter than I usually do. I strive to have at least one or two thousand words a chapter but this one just isn't working out. Two or three more chapters maybe, and definitely longer than this one. I don't have much inspiration for this so it won't be a very long story. I do have a lot more planned for future ones though!

Chapter Text

S tier was taking a day to himself, staying home and relaxing. It was a very spacious and well decorated house, and the complete opposite of small. S living on his own here seemed like overkill to many who knew him, but he didn't care, it was nice being alone to do whatever, whenever.

He watched some stupid show for a bit, nothing good was on. Finally, he gave up and just left to do something else.

Designing tattoos was a good pass time, S could spend hours doodling and not even realize it.

Roughly 4 hours had gone by and he was hungry. He went to the kitchen and made food, some sort of soup. It was only lunch so he didn't eat or make a lot. S had other plans for what to have later in the day.

He returned to his desk and looked over the drawings that he wasn't even paying attention to while making. He ended up spaced out almost the whole time. Flipping through, there were a lot of nice ones that he was proud of. At the end of the pile he saw what he had been drawing repeatedly.

A boy surrounded by flowers, the same character with a rose in his hand, just so many sketches of this boy and flowers. Some were only flowers, but most had this guy in them. Why did he look familiar?

Then it hit him. The boy who worked at the flower shop. The one who gave him that rose yesterday. Guess he was thinking about that guy more than he'd like to admit. S wanted to go back now, he had a strong urge to see him again. For... Inspiration. Totally.

The shop was closed today, a quick google search showed that clearly. S would have to be patient, as much as it annoyed him.

The rest of the day went by smoothly, albeit a little boring. So many people were trying to book appointments to his already full schedule. He was a very popular artist, and he enjoyed the good name, but it was also not the best sometimes. S tier didn't have too many days off because of how booked he was. S wanted to give the people what they wanted, and loved his job, but damn. Months and months have to be planned ahead for even something small.

Sometimes, he wants to go back to the start. To go back to the more rushed work of walk in. At the end of the day, those are just passing thoughts. He is happy with how things are going. Even more so with his new found crush, that should be interesting.

Night fell, cloaking everything in darkness. It was peaceful, it was quiet. S went to bed, resting easy without any doubt about how his day would go when he woke up. He would go back to that little flower shop, he would see that boy again. If S was especially lucky, maybe something would happen today. If not, there is always more days in the week.

Sunlight was relentless. Even through blinds it was lighting up the castle. Some would call this place a castle, and yet, it's only for S. All alone.

Time ticked by agonisingly slow. S tier was already dressed and ready, practicing in the mirror. Only twenty minutes left before he'd have to leave for the flower shop.

Was that guy even going to be there today? Who knows, S sure doesn't. Fifteen minutes left.

Ten minutes to go.

Five minutes, anxiety was kicking in. S never felt nervous, especially not about stuff like this. So why?

Four minutes.

Three minutes.

Two minutes. Putting on shoes was suddenly an Olympic sport. Tying his laces was so much more difficult right now.

One minute. And he's out.

People stared at the darkly dressed man power walking down the sidewalk. He was usually very relaxed on his walks so this was new. Speed was unavoidable by his Nerves and excitement getting the better of him.

S tier, the great artist that everyone wants to get a tattoo from, reduced to this. A love sick puppy.

Notes:

Again, sorry for it being short.

Notes:

I am working on chapter two, at last. It'll be done in the next day or two, maybe even today if I get some rush of ideas for it. So anyone who does actually like this, sorry for the wait.
