Summary
Hisashi froze mid-step. It wasn’t for long, likely not even long enough for the Heroes watching his approach to realize he had done it. Still, it happened.
Why?
Because Hisashi was forced to have several terrifying realizations in quick succession.
One, the current One for All holder was watching him from just beyond the wall to his right.
Two, said holder bore a very distinctive set of injuries. A set that his wife had called leaving a crying voicemail about, begging him to come home.
And Three, Search was confirming his nightmare of a realization about the second.
The Ninth was Midoriya Izuku.
His son was just a very flimsy wall away from him.
This changed everything. My submission for the 2023 Dad for One Week. Prompts at the top of each chapter.

Summary
The last thing Izuku expected from a quirk given to him by All Might was a creepy shadow intent on protecting him from any harm and yet...
One for All holds many surprises, including a refusal to break Izuku's bones, a creepy voice and violent tendencies that only Izuku can hold it back from fulfilling. Even with a nightmare inducing quirk following him around Izuku is intent on becoming the hero he always dreamed of.
