Chapter Text
It hadn’t taken them long to figure out a plan, after all they had been watching horror movies together for years. They also found joy in discussing what both the killers and the victims did wrong for every movie. They knew those movies inside and out, each of them having a distinct set of rules.
- You may not survive the movie if you have sex
- You may not survive the movie if you drink or do drugs
- You may not survive the movie if you say, “I’ll be right back”, “hello?” or “who’s there?”
- Never trust the love interest
- The first victim always has a circle of friends that the killer is a part of (depending on the movie)
Billy had taken to following Maureen around hoping to find another man in her life, so when they killed her, they would be able to know who to pin it on. It was just their luck she was basically the town whore. Sleeping with whatever man came into her path, no matter if they were married or not. The one thing that shocked both Billy and Stu the most was the fact that she wasn’t getting caught, it was obvious that her husband didn’t know, otherwise why else would he still bed the whore. Billy knew that he just had to wait for the perfect candidate to rear their ugly head. Billy knew that as no one, but the men she bed, was aware of her cheating ways would be able to be framed for her death.
__________
Finally, after months of waiting they had the perfect person to frame for her murder, after all a jilted lover was exactly what the police would look for. And luckily for them with a little pizazz Stu could look enough like him to trick anyone who would see them. Their plan was simple, they would wait for her to be done at Cotton Weary’s house, so that he could be linked to her death.
Firstly, they had to steal his coat for Stu to be seen wearing it out of the house of the house of Maureen Prescott, after the murder. It had taken Billy a while to get the coat, while Stu was tasked with giving himself both an alibi, in case the police came knocking, as he was the only one who looked enough like weary to get away with it. As Billy gathered the material, mainly stealing it from the local stores so it couldn’t be linked to him. It had been a chance that bully managed to steal the jacket, as the whore made it easy to get in, as she kept him busy. After another week it was time, Sidney was at the home and Stu was gaining an alibi with his new girlfriend in one Casey Becker. All he had to do was stay until she was asleep and then make sure he got back before she woke up, with a little bit of help from sleep drugs curtsey of Hank Loomis, after all he wouldn’t miss a little pill. It was easy to slip her the pill when the time came, crushed into her drink that Stu made sure she drank it to the last drop. Once she slipped into her sleep, Stu left meeting Billy in front of the Prescott house, the mother was home, as Billy made sure that she didn’t leave. Neil Prescott had left earlier that day, for a business meeting according to Sidney. The house was dark, noting that everyone was asleep, or at least all inhabitants beside Maureen, who most likely was getting ready for bed, as Weary had left a bit ago.
Billy tuned to Stu nodding, indicating that it was time, they made their way up to the house shaking in poorly hid excitement. The porch lights still on illuminating the front of the house. This was the first part that could go so wrong, but Stu keeping watch, as Billy knelt, easily picking the lock smirking up at Stu he opened the door allowing them into the house. Quietly they move noticing the slight light under the bathroom door, suddenly it opened and on quiet feet both moved into the shadows, the figure looked around, it was Maureen Prescott. Billy smiled, looked over to Stu, who already looking at the other smiled. She made her way over to her bedroom and just before she could turn on the light, Stu rushed forward, covering her mouth so she would be unable to scream. Behind him Billy ran into the room helping to grasp and the flailing arms, tying them up with rope so she would be unable to get away. After he had made sure she was wrapped tight enough, they gagged her to continue to prevent noise, besides the slight muffle. Her eyes widened when she noticed who they were, one was her daughter’s boyfriend and his best friend. Maureen began to struggle more trying her hardest to get out of her predicament, doubting if they were showing their faces that she would make this out alive. “Well, well Stu would you look at the whore, trying to escape” Billy said smiling evilly at her struggling body, Maureen stared up at him in shock
“Well, Billy she doesn’t seem to know what she did” Stu said in a way that seemed to be mocking her, as if she was the epitome of stupidity
“Well,” Billy growled out harshly pulling her hair, causing her to wince and look him in the eyes “you Ms. Maureen Prescott are the reason my mother abandoned me, because of your whorish ways, it tore my family apart.” He leans down closer to her ear whispering “So that’s what I’m going to do to you, your death will cleanse your sins from my brain. The town learning that you’re a whore who sleeps around will be tear your family apart, I’ll see too it” he drops her head to the ground.
Stu carefully put on the jacked, he wore gloves and a brand-new shirt, to help prevent his DNA from getting on the jacket, or at least minimalize the risk of him being caught. He grips the knife stabbing into her body a few drops of blood landing on it. Maureen writhed on the floor pain overtaking her senses. Billy hold his hand out indicating for Stu to put the knife in his hand, and with a smile he does “Here you go Billy finish the whore off”
Billy smiles rage taking over as he continuously stabs at the body, just as Maureen began to lose consciousness the gag was removed, she screamed hoping to wake her daughter. With the final scream came the end of her life, she was dead. Billy looked at Stu “Go out the front door” Billy ran out the back knowing that Sidney’s room was toward the front of the house. He made his way to the meeting ground. Stu waited a moment at the door watching as the light in upper room illuminated the outside just so, slamming the door, so Sidney would look outside, he ran making sure to catch the jacket in the light so she could clearly see what it looked like. Loosing himself into the night he went to where they were to meet, so that Billy could go and burn the clothing, and bring back the jacket, so their scapegoat could be framed. Smiling at each other both were exhilarated by the feeling of killing, and in one moment they were looking into each other eyes smiling, and the next they were kissing. It felt as though sparks flew between them, almost as if they were destined for each other. The world seemed just seemed right, as they killed. Billy was the first to pull back clearly shocked. Stu was shocked as well, but this was something he knew he had always wanted, Billy’s love.
Both knew that they didn’t have much more time, quickly parted ways to get their individual tasks completed, they would have to talk about this later or perhaps not, because in the end they couldn’t ever be together in the way that they both craved to be. Everything went off without a hitch, it had only taken the police a couple of days until they apprehended a one Cotton Weary for her murder, the jacket he wore caused Sidney Prescott to be able to identify who she saw leave the house that night. Not much was said about her murder, but the reasoning behind her murder was plastered over the news. And it pissed Billy off. She was a whore, she wasn’t rapped. The town NEEDED to know the truth, that entire family deserved to be torn apart.
No, that whole family had to be punished, even if the town would never figure out her lying cheating ways, they would be made aware of their deaths, they would be punished for the mothers’ mistake, as who’s to say they won’t turn put just like her, expressly that Sidney Prescott, the daughter of the town whore. In the end Billy knew he would get what he wanted, with Stu by his side, they would watch the whole town burn to a crisp, everyone would pay for their transgressions. The day of reckoning is here, in the form a Ghostface a killer with two faces.
