"So defiant now," the captain murmured. His warm breath rustled through Phuwin's bangs, gently caressing the top of his face. "Almost as if you have something to hide."
Then, warm, calloused fingers hooked beneath Phuwin's chin. Phuwin tried to resist, digging his boots into the deck, but the touch was inescapable; he had no leverage. His head was forced back, his face tilted up into the bright afternoon sun.
The world around him shrank to the dark, unreadable eyes boring into his. Phuwin had seen the wanted posters. He'd seen the captain's sharp jawline and fierce gaze stare out at him from weathered parchment. If encountered, run, officers and midshipmen alike had whispered in the halls of the Naval headquarters. Even Phuwin's mentor had warned him of the pirate's ruthlessness.

“What? Wasn't he shown portraits, or–”
“No."
"I thought…nevermind.” Jisung shook his head as if it would help clear his thoughts. “So, he sent you just because of that?” Minho nodded. “And what will you tell him?”
“You don't have to worry, your highness, I'll be sure to pinpoint your better qualities.”
Jisung scoffed, stepping away. “I cannot believe this.” He mumbled. “Don't even bother telling him anything about me. I wouldn't want him even if he came all the way here, begging on his knees. Not after this stunt.”

For two semesters, uni's popular brat Phuwin makes Professor Pond’s life unbearable in the most charming ways possible, without realising he's too deep in love with his professor.
Pond on the other hand gets flustered everytime Phuwin throws a bratty remark about his lecture with that charming smirk. 2 weeks before graduation, Phuwin finally confesses, only for Pond to gently reject him despite having feelings for Phuwin too.
