“What plan?” Carlos asks, a little nervously.
“To get Buck and Eddie to realise they’re meant for each other,” TK says, rolling his eyes, the you idiot bit heavily implied.

What happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas, right? Except this is TK’s last chance to get Buck and Eddie to realise they’re in love with each other and he’s not going to let anything go to waste. Carlos is so done with him!

Summary
The training of a paramedic emphasizes keeping the patient calm at all times and reassuring them that everything will be alright even when the situation looks grim and hopeless. It is to help the patient through any fear and panic they may feel, or at least to make their last moments a little more calm and hopeful. However, sometimes it is just better to tell the truth, and he has never been able to lie to Carlos.
“It’s not good,” he says, under his breath. "You’re bleeding a lot and there’s—nothing I can do about the internal bleeding.”

after Alex dumped him on the day he proposed, his dad had voiced those concerns in more details. “I never really believed he was your soulmate,” he’d said, stroking TK’s hair back from his face. “You deserve someone who is, you know. You’ll find them.”
“No one ever wrote back to me,” TK admits, low and quiet. “What if there’s no one for me, ever?”
“There will be,” Owen says, and he’s so sure of it. “There will be.”
